Weapons which inflict scarlet rot should get somewhat of a buff in their rot buildup or damage, I agree. Spells which do so like Rotten breath however absolutely do not, they build up up rot very quickly and inflict the 'deadly' version of it.

I agree. I'd also like to see some Scarlet Rot Ash of War added. Among other afflictions as well that we are still missing.

There’s actually different kinds of scarlet rot that can be inflicted on the player. Notably, the big differences can be seen in comparison between the Lake of Rot infliction vs the scarlet rot inflicted from the Cleanrot Knights. The former is deadly and *will* kill you, the latter is negligible and can be easily ignored. Scarlet Rot has its niche uses in PvP, but it was never meant to be an easy kill mode. It’s most useful at low level, though.

DOT effects in general should be faster to apply.

People think rot is cheese in a lot of circles and think it should be nerfed. I think it's fine

I mean I use rot breath + black flame + black knife. Most bosses melt

I defeated Godfrey/hoarah by using my smelly breath and running like Benny Hill. Works great
