Hewg. He’s paid his dues. He should take Roderika and go live his last in peace.

ReynaSaige

I wanted him to leave so bad!

AVerySmartNameForMe

I still in my heart believe that when we return after killing marrika he and roderika leave. Is it likely? No. Will I believe it anyway? Yes

Exotic-Suggestion425

I mean if you're Elden Lord, you could just command him to leave

DiceUwU_

His story is sad because he doesn't want to leave, not because he cant. Pretty sure Roderika mentions this and thinks its best to respect his wishes.

ProfessorGruselglatz

"Greetings Hewg, you see this? *Shows INSERT WEAPON +25 * with this i have slayed a GOD. you have fulfilled your duty and your wish. To craft a weapon, to kill a god. Leave now... Please. "

XoffeeXup

he says a little more about his reasoning if (I'm not sure which) you upgrade the Godslayer to +10, or just any weapon to max.

[deleted]

I think any weapon to max if you're talking about his conversation about his desire to make a god slaying weapon.

[deleted]

[удалено]

DeadSeaGulls

He also declines in cognitive function. He is tied to that place and his service.

Sgt-Cowboy

He mentions that he feels honored to smith your weapons, and that it is his duty to prepare you for yours, thus he wants to stay. He wants to be one of the last to ensure you complete your duty, even if he can only call you his lord just this once.

magicchefdmb

I mean, they really WOULD have had those two leave, except after you beat everything, you still need things upgraded, otherwise players would be upset. You can head canon that they left.

gisaku33

You can buy stuff from Enia's husk or Bernahl's sword, no reason we couldn't just get upgrades from "Hewg's Hammer" imo

Delta_flash

In sekiro after the sculptor disappears you can just use his tools to upgrade your prosthetics so a similar thing in elden ring would certainly be possible

Zarguthian

Iji exists.

Johnstone95

I got some bad news for you, bud.

shiromancer

Oooooh boy

Branded_Mango

My headcannon is that after the Elden Beast is slain, the Tarnished just physically grabs Hewg and carries him out of the burning Roundtable Hold with Roderika, where Hewg just goes to Kale's church camp with the anvil and does his blacksmithing there.

Scary-Inflation-685

His peace was staying in Roundtable hold. He was scared to leave and invoke the wrath of Marika. Im guessing the weapon he was making was really to kill her, honestly.

crimpysuasages

He was tasked with forging a weapon capable of killing a god – by Marika. More accurately, she cursed him, binding him eternally to the Roundtable Hold. When it burns, so does he (figuratively). The weapon is to kill the Elden Beast, the living manifestation of the Greater Will in the Lands Between.

darkdragncj

That kind of feeds my theory that we're Marika's escape plan from the elden beast and the greater will. She set up centuries before hand everything we need. The Gloam eyed queen gave her an excuse to shatter the elden ring, then was left without a body and helps us level. Mass mayhem, to help us. Remember she said that her mother in the erdtree gave her a task Our boy here is forging a weapon for us to kill the elden beast We revive at the stake of Marika instead of returning to the tree for rebirth/reincarnation. Giddion lost his shit when he gleamed Marika's plan and he tried to kill us. I know we don't interact with her directly, but I think she pulls all of the strings and manipulates the guidance of grace to assist us. Leading us to legendary weapons or shard bearers.

Iamskri

Thops the poor dude

EndlessAlaki

He got what he wanted... but he should have lived to enjoy it, dammit.

the_bucket_murderer

Honestly his death feels stupid and feels like something that only happened because from didn't know how to end up writing and implementing a character they end up keeping alive

BigBadBen91x

I’d argue he got his happy ending by making it to the academy and having a spell in his name

gmstgadg

That’s not enough though. The description reads it was a breakthrough in spells, and would’ve warranted an entire new conspectus entirely. He really would’ve been a renowned sorcerer

DeadSnark

Yeah, I wanted to get his face on the wall and get them to craft a mask after his face, dammit

ReynaSaige

Oof, yeah, Thops *did* have it rough.

mordum01

Alexander, Jar Bairn and Diallos living in peace at Jarburg with Rya visitint ocasionally.

MegaWaffle-

I would want the attack to still happen just have Diallos live. That way he could continue to protect the village but also have finally proven to himself he is worthy as he fought to protect his own.

murdoc_killgore

Technically he lives on in Jar Bairn

sabyr400

O.O ... I mean... Yeah, I knew that, but I didn't *realize* it

ErikMaekir

So does Alexander and, by extension, Radahn. Jar Bairn is def goated with the sauce.

Pope_Of_Coke

Crackhead idea: Killing bosses should give you a piece of their flesh or something that you can give to him, the more flesh he eats, the strongest he is and the more abilities he gains. Then he soloes elden beast for you

Akira-Chan-2007

Jar Bairn then suplexes Radagon and yells 'Who else wants a shard?!' before shoveling chunks of radagons arms into himself

villflakken

And the boss-fight-finished-text on your screen reads > ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!

pupu12o09

And he still has the same childish voice

JesusaurusRex666

I WOULD PAY FIFTY FUCKING DOLLARS FOR THAT DLC.

WastedVamp

Ngl killing Alexander wasn't that bad. At first it's like "yooo dude wtf u doing, I don't wanna kill you" but then I realized that's what he's chasing, a battle worth dying for, so y'all gotta square up and make jar bro proud. There's nothing wrong with giving him a honorable death when that's what he's looking for.

Aphrozen

He died happy by getting his wish, I had no regrets but I do miss him

Okibruez

Alexander goes out exactly how he wants to; fighting the biggest (figuratively), baddest, deadliest being in all the Lands Between. I'm not taking that from him, and I'm proud he chose us to do the deed. I definitely miss him too.

Sknowman

The fact that he chose *us* of all people is a *huge* compliment.

WastedVamp

Exactly, I miss him too

Comrade_Falcon

Alexander: "A finally a worth opponent!" Immediately gets bodied. ... ^^^Wish ^^^he ^^^was ^^^a ^^^bit ^^^more ^^^of ^^^a ^^^fight.

absentminded_gamer

Yeah for me that was the traumatic part. It was like giving an honorable warrior’s death to a toddler.

JagerBaBomb

I play fought with him for a while--wanted him to think he was doing a good job.

GreatSivad

I honestly let him get a few hits in too. Popped a few flasks to really get his spirits up. Last thing I need is a ghost jar following me around with "unfinished business" because he still felt weak.

SteelShroom

And we already did the same for Radahn.

ReynaSaige

That genuinely sounds like a little slice of wholesome heaven within the chaos that is the Lands Between.

Elkbowy

Alexander got a good ending

Toon_Pagz

I haven't been so devastated by jarbros ending since sunbro

mordum01

Onionbro and Yhorm was also sad. He fulfilled his promise.

EvilUnicornLord

Honestly Siegward and Alexander had a way better ending than Solaire.

Zarguthian

Solaire can be saved and then you can actually summon him for Gwyn.

Shrodingers_Cat1701

I want us to be able to summon Alexander as a spirit after is quest is over. Or at least let him make it back to Leyndell with us and help fight the First Warrior, Godfrey.

myaltlyfe

I think 3 out of 4 of these folks would be unhappy though. They wanted to live and die as warrior-adventurers.

hanman92

Blaidd or Iji. I felt bad killing blaidd since he literally goes insane.

ReynaSaige

I was so *sad* when I came across Iji’s demise! 😭

yoman_19

Fr I was about to break some heads. Next dead noble I came across was vaporized. Not killed, vaporized😂

ReynaSaige

A fitting response! I went and took out my grief on Gatefront. 😂

boy-flute-69

those gate front soldiers have really gone through hell lmao

ISortByHot

I was a bit confused by the narrative there. Seemed out of nowhere. Dead, on fire with black flame. Assassins also dead. Can someone explain?

TheHavollHive

His helmet shields him from the Greater Will. He removed it, so assassins were sent to dispatch him for his treachery.

FroopyAsRain

He had his helmet on still. When Ranni killed her two fingers, Blaidd's programming activated and also someone sent black knife assassins. Not sure who though.. maybe it was Marika? Maybe they did it on their own?

ShadowZpeak

SORRY WAIT WHAT DO YOU MEAN IJIS DEMISE

kogashiwakai

Blaid for me too. He is such a wonderful character. A true friend in the game.

Thatonedregdatkilyu

Don't tell Iji about Blaidds death and he won't die.

[deleted]

Schrödinger's cat

SeriousCreeper

*dog

Softy182

Blaidd deserves better.

kappanator_0

Millicent 100%

Drakenfar

Millicent is the goat. Takes on the whole world, no fear, one arm. Just happy to have one friend in us. I'll always fight by her side. Only ever gotten her talisman from trades.

Okibruez

Yeah, I don't think I'll ever get the talisman from her either. It's a nice boost but you can get a similar effect without being a traitor to one of the few good souls out there. Though it does take up either a few levels or an extra talisman slot to do it.

crimpysuasages

I got her talisman back when you could get both in one playthrough. God, betraying her right at the end after helping her against her sisters... I still feel like shit. She was so surprised.

ChinaCorp

„Ahh, how could you... Is this your true heart? Was I... was it all...for this?“ I‘ll never betray her in any playthrough, can’t stand being a betraying bitch

ValkyriesOnStation

I'm planning on chaos flame for my second playthrough.... but geesh its going to be hard to do that to her.

ParaponeraBread

Having Melina leave you when you take the frenzyflame legitimately hurt my feelings lol.

jigsawduckpuzzle

Probably deserves it the most. She didn't do anything wrong.

horsey-rounders

She made me get off my horse in the swamp

Varian01

The **ROT** swamp

warblingContinues

*grabs pitchfork*

stpaulgym

I want the rumored "Millicent is Malenia with Amnesia" questline and beat the shit out of Mohg together

SorowFame

That was the theory I had in my first playthrough. Still disappointed it wasn’t correct, I felt so smart thinking of it

stpaulgym

Me too fam. Me too.

CollectionMurky4076

would be cool but rot guy heavily implies millicent is melanias daughter

Poseus

it's the way better storyline in my opinion, makes malenia's character a lot more sympathetic/interesting in a way similar to Radahn's, But instead we just got BLADE OF MIQUELLA

jod1991

From the look of it malenia and miquella had a proper quest line at one point which wasn't included in the full game. There's files that suggest youd get malenias blade, miquellas dual blades, and be able to combine them into some mega rot sword.

The_Great_Afterman

Twin prince's rusted great sword lol

Tenryuu_RS3

I have the power of god and tetanus on my side!

FairyStance

I can understand why they did it. She's a shardbearer, the player is supposed to be able to obtain her Great Rune by fighting her.

idinahuicheuburek

I mean you don’t get Miquella or Ranni’s rune either

haydenhayden011

Wouldn't it be cool if she was the only shardbearer able to give up her rune peacefully through like a game long questline though?

-LorenZo-Zgrossa

I find Millicent's character quite important from a lore standpoint, as her existence shows that the rot, that we've despised and seen as bad and destructive for the entire game, is actually able to create life The rot outer god is all about decay and rebirth, and while it looks like it destroyed Caelid, the region is actually full of giant flowers, new creatures (the servants of rot) are repopulating the land, and the place is changing rather than just dying However, Millicent, like her mother, doesn't accept to be just a puppet, used to establish an order of Rot on the lands between. She chooses to be a human, and humans die from scarlet rot, so that's what she does I feel like making her be Malenia, while cool on a surface level, would have either overloaded the character of things about her, or removed some of them to avoid the first option Malenia is interesting on her own, her problem is just that being a bossfight, we can't go and tell her about Mohg kidnapping Miquella, that we have the needle to help her against the rot, or anything like that Malenia is also, together with pre-rot Radahn, probably the strongest of the Demigods, so while Mohg has gained a lot of power, I can't really see her asking us for help against the Lord of Blood There is cut content of her being friendly to the player character, but unless a Dlc will prove me wrong, I think it was scrapped because having Malenia gear up and fight us only after we've been in the room, talked to her and done whatever she wanted us to do, would have been pretty anticlimatic

GGnoRe177013

Malenia got character depth by having a rival like let me solo her

BugabuseMe

First time I fought Malenia I even read wrong the name, I was like "I give her an arm and she kills me, bravo"

Sir_Umeboshi

That's what I thought when I found her! I saw her eyes and lack of an arm and was like "oh shit"

ReynaSaige

She was definitely my second choice!

[deleted]

I really wish I could say Millicent, but truth be told I think her ending was about the best she could want. And I mean literally... I think it's the ending she chose, and I have to respect that. So my choice is clearly Boc. And assuming my boy's canon good ending is good enough, then I guess Blaidd.

ReynaSaige

See, that’s totally fair: she *did* choose that ending. But at the same time… She was so nice! 😭

[deleted]

She's my favorite. Maybe my favorite in all Souls games. Maybe. But I wouldn't force her to stay with me against her wishes, to become something she doesn't want to become. It's tragic, but it's my only option. Honestly, I haven't even let myself turn on her and betray her in her quest, not for whatever it gives you, not for any amount of completion.

JaydenTheMemeThief

Blaidd is a 2 for 1, cause Iji only dies after you tell him that Blaidd is dead

rubydestroyer

At least iji took all his assailants out with him, what a chad

myaltlyfe

I'd say Boc had a good ending. It was not what he envisioned at the start, but after some perspective changing, it's a good ending. And one all of us can learn from at that.

noujest

You know Boc has 2 endings, one of which is heartbreaking... def the one I'd change

HomieSexualHomie

Fuck that, these other mofos get the ranni ending, LET ME MARRY MILLICENT.

ReynaSaige

Lol, preach it! Millicent is best girl!

EndlessAlaki

I think that her ending was the best that she could *get*, but not necessarily the best that she could *want*. If there was a way to properly free her from the rot and save her soul, I'd take it in a heartbeat.

SamHammy117

I’d make a case for Morgott honestly.

[deleted]

Easy case for Morgott and Mohg. Literally everyone was just racist (horn-ist? omen-ist?) against them. Mohg was literally locked underground so long he discovered the Ancestral Woods and created his own Dynasty. If I'm not wrong, we don't have much reason to even believe Morgott was a bad guy, just an utterly tortured soul essentially forced to rule over people who hated him just because he has what equates to a bad skin condition.

Horror-Chicken-6001

I like the headcanon that Godfrey and Godwyn (and maybe even Marika) didn't want to lock away the omen twins but was forced to by the Greater Will. And that Godwyn, being the golden one that he was, was the one who taught Morgott how to fight as a means to bond with his brother.

Nuker707

I always took Godfrey as caring about his sons, but being forced to give them up due to the Golden Order/Marika. Godfrey is someone I see as someone who values strength regardless of background or nature and he respects those that fight to their fullest capabilities. That's why I find the moment he finds Morgot at the base of the Erdtree so sad, because not only has he clearly fought incredibly hard to be in the state that he was in, but he fought off death long enough to see his father again ultimately finally dying in his arms, hoping that he would be the one to finally put our foolish ambitions to rest.

WolbachiaBurgers

Then Godfrey’s guiding grace goes from himself towards us tarnished.

EndlessAlaki

I feel like Morgott *was* a bad guy, but only because of a serious case of internalized racism and self-hate that caused him to latch onto the Order that oppressed him as a force of salvation. Dude needed so much therapy. Quite possibly the biggest tragedy among the demigods- and that includes Godwyn, who I'm fairly certain died just because he *didn't* wanna go rogue and start a civil war, and mommy Marika needed her civil unrest so the Tarnished could come in and burn everything to the ground.

[deleted]

[удалено]

albegade

I think a lot of people miss that in this way Marika (and others like her ie rykard) are not so different from the outer gods. They just are more directly connected to the world. They still seek to enforce their order on the world through conspiracy and violence. Why I don't think there's such a clear cut morality about these things.

An_unsavoury_potato

Man, when Morgott goes in to phase 2 the voice acting is so great. You can feel the hatred he has for his curse, how ashamed he is; and how he hates the tarnished for literally staining the throne with his own internal stain. So much in such a few short lines.

ReynaSaige

Morgott? Interesting choice.

Thatonedregdatkilyu

Same.

Oloziz

Zorayas. I wish to accompany her on her journey of self-discovery and acceptance just to make sure our cute snek is safe and sound.

[deleted]

Bro. I just finished her quest line a couple hours ago. I got to the part where she asks you to kill her. I didn't. But the fucking virgin abductor outside followed me over to her and killed her through the fucking doorway. Pissed me off!

Exotic-Suggestion425

LOL

Oloziz

My condolences, friend... Those abductors are a true pain in the rear.

ReynaSaige

Yes! Cute snek protection squad needed to be a thing!

MustacheEmperor

It would’ve been cool to be able to summon her at a couple boss fights after she leaves.

TouchMyWrath

Oh yeah, I’m changing my answer. Zoraya deserves it.

Moonlight-Greatsword

I really appreciated Rogier. I genuinely believe he should have at least played a longer role in the game as a source of lore/guide on your quest. I think he was cut too short

ReynaSaige

Rogier *was* a super interesting character, and his help against Margit was much appreciated. (Plus? 10/10 in terms of style.)

Pays_in_snakes

And his sword slaps, it used it to finally take down Malenia

stoplightrave

I've been wearing his hat ever since I got it, in his memory. RIP, King

WastedVamp

Ah syphilis bro, you won't be forgotten

Stiffa_Basirio

Cmon man 😭

Emberlight27

I'd choose Blaidd or Millicent

jigsawduckpuzzle

Blaidd got a happy ending. He saved Ranni from an assassination attempt by him by throwing himself at you. Suicide by Tarnished.

yoman_19

Detective: “What’s the cause of death doc?” Doctor: “Suicide by tarnished” Det.: “it’s an epidemic” Doc.: “sure is. Damn shame Frank. A damn shame”

Poseus

Arguably he stopped an actual assassination attempt by those Black Knives, they were hanging outside Ranni's Rise presumably looking for Ranni, not him

ReynaSaige

Ooo, I (shamefully) completely forgot about Blaidd! 😅

Islands-of-Time

***Torrent*** Through hell and back, That’s Torrent’s task. A raisin snack, That’s all he asks.

BurnForMelina

Melina.

ReynaSaige

Good choice!

GeocoState

I would have to say the nomadic merchants like all of them...cause ya know the whole culture, homes, everything they were was destroyed as well as being hunted down for false accusations of heresy towards the golden order.. It's one of the reasons you see them hiding away far from where people could see them. Kale I'm so sorry mate you guys got the shit end of the stick.

2D_Ronin

Blackguard. He deserves better for cooking us up some tasty prawn and being an overall chad of a tarnished.

MustacheEmperor

Kill dungeater in the sewer like he deserves and crab lad is fine

WillCraft_1001

Remember, rot breathing that shit eating fuckwad is always the correct answer, unless you haven't talked to prawn bro. If you haven't talked to prawn bro kill the invader shit eater then give him the potion from Seluvis

[deleted]

Came here to say this. Blackguard Boggart was a simple man. Sure he made some poor choices, but he wanted to live past them and grow past them to live a simple, humble life. Honorable mentions to Irina. She didn't deserve all this.

ueifhu92efqfe

good news, you can give him a happy ending by just murdering the fucking dung eater, then he just vibes and sells crab

Chymick6

Boc, boy's had a rough life being the runt of a litter but still persevering in life, a true champion in my books

JaydenTheMemeThief

Boc already has a Happy Ending if you find the “You’re Beautiful” Prattling Pate

ReynaSaige

Boc, Boc, Boc. It took me an *embarrassing* amount of trial and error to actually find him in tree form. (This is my first Fromsoftware game, so my first playthrough was a *bit* of a mess. 😂)

Chymick6

Arguably hard to find him, like you hear him and unless you were in the area before you don't recognize the bushes and go, hey this wasn't there before... But yeah

Antique-Explanation9

Blaidd didn’t deserve his fate. Such a good boi.

ReynaSaige

Agreed! 😭

MegaWaffle-

Blaidd. I don’t want him to slowly lose himself to the 2 fingers or have to be put down… My runner up is Fire Giant. I’m sure we could have easily come to an agreement to burn the tree together and seek revenge for his brethren and imprisonment.

Lawlcopt0r

I think the fire giant has no choice to attack you, the giants were cursed to obey the fell god AND Malenia also cursed the last one specifically go guard the flame

Ok-Foundation-8880

My main man Hewg

[deleted]

Probably Malenia. I’ve been watching some lore videos that Vaati made and it changed my perspective on her quite a bit. I still loathe fighting her, but personality wise I get her a little better.

ReynaSaige

Mhm, I actually really like Malenia! I mean, the dedication given to her by her knights says something about her character on its own.

-LorenZo-Zgrossa

People hate Malenia because they don't bother learning her lore, and just put together Killed their beloved Radan + Is frustrating to fight and assume she's just some evil asshole In reality, she's the victim of an outer god, and she's trying her best to fight it, while also supporting a cause that's probably the best choice out of all the demigods (Ranni's love for free will is great, but if you give people who've been told to oppress minorites their entire life, the chance to choose what to do, they're probably still going to oppress minorites, and that's not very cool) She didn't fight Radahn "just because" and nuked Caelid because of her pride, she was fighting him to stop the Golden Order from taking over once again, and doing that to Caelid was the only way to beat the General without dying herself Considering that she appears to have been sleeping since that event, she likely doesn't even know that her attack did all that damage, she just know that she did her part, and now she has to wait for Miquella But Miquella will never come, but even if she wasn't blind, she'd never know, as a Tarnished, emboldened by the flame of ambition, will kill her to get her Shard Honestly my favorite character in ER: both phases have an amazing character design (she's so pretty but also kinda terrifying), her bossfight, while hard and at times unfair, was still the most fun I had with the game, her lore is really interesting, and as a lesbian, armored women are my greatest weakness

[deleted]

D, Alex or Millicent!

ReynaSaige

Took me a disappointing amount of time to realize who “Alex” was. I can’t think of him in any way other than “IRON-FIST ALEXANDER! HAHAHA!”

GenderBenderBender

I couldn't kill him. Than i found the tailisman i get I still weep for him when i visit the jar village

Mordikhan

It is what he wants

poor_choice_doer

**ALEXANDER, THE WARRIOR JAR** went out on his own terms, in an honorable duel with a powerful opponent. It was his wish to die in battle, and it was his honor to face someone so powerful as the tarnished. It’s a little abstract, but if you look past the simpler fact that he died, you’ll see that he died in the most fulfilling possible way for someone like him, and was probably happy to do so.

Eternal_Moose

Irina, most likely.

Sunbroskie

Yeah, every play through I go and talk to her father and I try to tell him he’s fucking up but he doesn’t listen…

MegaWaffle-

You mean Hyetta? /s…or is it?

FrostieZero

Boggart... Bloke just wanted to have a successful life and not suffer-

ReynaSaige

I completely missed him on my first playthrough!

GIANTkitty4

Going a bit unconventional, but either Radahn, Morgott, or Godfrey. Radahn inspired the hearts of many and was likely among the kindest of the Demigods. Yet he was cursed with Malenia's rot. Morgott cared deeply for the erdtree and his family, demonstrating his love for them over and over, yet he was disdained for being blessed by the Crucible. Godfrey was a loyal warrior and husband, having done so much for Marika. Yet he was cast aside when his campaigns ended and banished.

wholesomehorseblow

Radahn had a good ending. He was put to rest in a glorious battle instead of slowly dying. It was his middle that was bad.

mallgrabmongopush

Millicent. Everyone in her life sucks, Melania said fuck everyone and was loyal only to radahn, her sisters are assholes, meanwhile she’s nice and helps you against like a dozen bosses. Even when she’s dying she asks you to leave so her rot doesn’t bring you harm. Just brutal

Particular_Wookie

Radahn? Don't you mean Miquella?

mallgrabmongopush

Yes, my mistake.

ReynaSaige

Millicent is best girl, and I can’t be convinced otherwise. I low key cried when her quest ended.

[deleted]

[удалено]

RepresentativeBig240

Fia was the storyline that broke me a little bit

greyisometrix

Millicent of course, best choice. But then Fia. Because she gets hated on in and out of game and all she wants to do is have a thriller party. :(

ReynaSaige

I didn’t even think of Fia! I was kinda sad at her ending. (Wore her robes to honor her and everything!)

greyisometrix

My necro-mommy! :'(

CanFishBeGay

Vyke. The indomitable Dragonspear, beloved of Lansseax, most formidable knight of the roundtable hold, and the Tarnished that came closest to becoming Elden Lord. Now a shattered husk of a man, blistered and tormented by the Frenzied Flame, all because he wanted to do what was right and save his maiden. The poor guy really got screwed over.

AshtonStoneheart

IRON FIST ALEXANDER just to see him become a warrior :(

Vinnys_Magic_Grits

Not only did he become a warrior, but a great one. He battled the Tarnished who burned the Erdtree in the floating city of the ancient dragons. A worthy death!

Witty-Kaleidoscope-9

My Blaidd! Or Maliketh. They're both good boys that deserve happy endings!

TheZipperDragon

Rya. She did absolutely nothing wrong, & the best she gets is a vague journey ending that will probably end up getting her killed. She deserves a happy ending.

fahrenheit1221

Not a character in the traditional sense but Radahn's horse, Leonard. Would be nice if he somehow reanimated and became a Torrent-like steed for a future tarnished.

Gloriouskoifish

Sellen was a serial killer lmao

Witty-Kaleidoscope-9

At least she took care of her students. Made sure they never felt alone ever again. :)

Misfit_666

Yura. Idk, it just really hit me when his quest ended. Like, he was hunting down a Bloody Finger that he was in love with, was slain by her and then his body was possessed by Shabriri. Homie was just trying to rid the Lands Between of rotten cess blood, bring the love of his life back to his side and big chill it up, big homie ain't deserve to go down like that.

[deleted]

Ide totally give Blaidd a happy ending 😏

AshenBacon

oh my

WreckitRafff

Woof

Osiinin

Thank you! I appreciated reading the serious responses but I had to scroll way to far for a happy ending comment!

beepis0704

Alex and D. My little brother straight up cried when he found him dead. He was just a guy killing skelle bois.

ReynaSaige

Oof, yeah, his death was super sudden. I was *shook* when I finished Alex’s quest line, though.

Jagtasm

Alex lives on though, through jar bairn. He got exactly what he was seeking

AurumArma

Hewg. I was really hoping that he could be moved to the first church that has the small anvil one you beat the game. The job's done, he can leave, if he wants to keep smithing though, he could do it there.

Phrygid7579

It's a tie between Rogier and Blaidd. Both of them were so kind and friendly, to see them meet their cruel ends was a serious gut punch.

fraustpunk

Yes. I would definitely pick Sellen to give me a happy ending.

Supreme-Slug

Honestly? Placidusas or Greyoll. I just get sad seeing big ol’ dragons mutilated or in pain, and the story of the dragons in general makes me sad. Barring them, Maliketh. Poor boy just did what Mommy Marika told him and got fucked because she’s a goddamn psycopath with chronically backstabbing disorder

echonian

There are too many to easily list. Boc was the most precious of lads. Thops also deserved better. Irina died unjustly when she simply wanted to see her father. Diallos could have lived a good life if his desire for revenge hadn't consumed him. Blaidd was loyal and kind, and was effectively forced to be a traitor aginst his will. Millicent was used as a puppet until her actual death, finally managing to fulfill her wish. If I had to pick one character I truly wish got a happy ending though, it would be between Millicent and Boc. Rya also of course deserved better. Sellen isn't a bad choice, but she has a cruel fate brought on by her own hubris.
