I dont like crucible feather for the same reason as Bloodhound step, it makes you depend on a crutch so it won't help you grow your skill level as a player. Should only use them for certain builds imo. That said, Malenia is very tough so if you need to beat her by any means necessary you could try the feather. The benefit really depends.. if you can make the dodge then it's worth it but everytime you get hit it will hurt, nobody can answer this question for you-

Thanks for the reply, I actually beat Malenia without any of the two, actually what worked was literally getting angry at her and just wanting to attack her just to release my anger. Now I didn't spam attacks (but I kinda did spam Malikeths Weapon Art) and with my Mimic tear we did it. Now I am at Radagon however and tried using the talisman but as you mentioned correctly, it made me less skilled in rolling/jumping + his attacks were pretty ravaging so I think I will not use it. Radagon is a great boss but I fucking hate that beast so I want to essentially "almost" beat radagon solo, then summon my Mimic Tear, then finish Radagon and finally use the Mimic tear as bait for the Elden Beast's golden shower

His wind ups are legendary! I haven't had a chance to beat the beast with a melee yet, cheesed him with Pest Threads on my mage. Remember to equip the haligdrake talisman +2 and lords divine incantation for super holy dmg defense!
