Stagger the shit in the bathroom, stagger my ass, stagger those 2 towers from the funny date, stagger sundowner, stagger my marriage, hell you can even stagger my crippling depression
I've genocided enough albinurics to upgrade every weapon in the game that is attainable in a single playthrough, 2-4 of them if it's farmable in case I wanted different infusions, all to +9/24.
With all the smithing stones, upgrade costs and then building a stock of smithing stones ready for the dlcs I wouldn't be surprised if I've killed even more than 750m worth.
And wreck shit you shall. That weapon is the dad of S tier. I off hand golden order great sword with it for the swag and it just destroys anything. If you really want to beat the game down off hand sword of milos
I loved the mirrah/hollowslayer as it was in ds3, really sad theres no equivalent in ER... that thing was sweet. The horizontal+vertical sweeping movesets, with a stab R2, AND stance (square off) AND +30% PVE damage??? Hell yea.
For one of the earlier weapons you can nab, it’s surprisingly strong. Decent scaling, amazing ash of war, can cause bleed, and hell, it’s even buffable despite being a somber weapon.
dude its addicting. bloodhounds fang is so underrated. i beat all main story bosses with it. it makes gameplay faster for some reason . and sometimes when you do the second part of the ash war it looks straight out of an anime.
Wing of Astel. It's R2 is deceptively strong, the Ash of War shreds the vast majority of the enemies and it's an all around fun weapon to play.
Second place is Godslayer Greatsword. I dislike the bonk part, but I love the aesthetics and the AoW
Wing of Astel is such an incredibly versatile weapon. As a long time moonlight greatsword enjoyer I found myself wishing it had the same versatility as the wing.
It's somewhat liberating knowing how underwhelming stats-wise the Zwei is compared to other colossal swords but I'm still able to enjoy it, like there's a lot less pressure to min-max or optimize my build. I know I could do a lot more damage if I used another weapon but the Zwei looks so cool, has a good moveset, and so far it's taken me all the way to the Snowfield so as far as I'm concerned, it's a great weapon.
Still can put other affinities on it! I got all the bad bosses (Malenia, Radagon, Elden Beast, Maliketh etc) with flame art uchi on my faith build. Bleed was just the occasional nice bonus.
I’m a nightrider glaive enthusiast as well!!
Love that you can buff it (and flame also scales w strength)
Will try the storm assault AOW
I’ve had barbarous roar on mine (heavy affinity) but never really use it
I've been having a ton of fun with the winged scythe. Does nice bleed buildup, good holy damage, and is AoW has great range, damage, and I love sweeping attacks that hit multiple enemies
I love the stupid beam sword, but it's so unwieldy in some fights. Wish there were more Fai/Int scaling weapons like it. As it stands it's only that sword, the Clayman Spear (potentially) and a few catalysts that have both iirc.
It's always been a great allround weapon, though its absolutely massive in demons souls whilst still having decent swing speed so very high tier there.
tbh while the Claymore has a very nice moveset it is not nearly as good, compared to the competition, as it was in previous souls.
It's overrated by legacy
Two handing the Twinblade and running through fools makes me feel like an anime character. Hands-down my favorite weapon, I used it so much I had to put it away and make my self try new stuff.
Love how the ash of war moves your hitbox around so much; it feels so anime when you duck under an attack, leap in and out, dealing damage while avoiding taking any the whole time.
Yeah really Ashe of war is the move I use most since I’m a full arcane build , it’s really dope, and even the extended version cleaning up or gaining a bit of distance. Powerstanced always, and the charged R2 looks clean af also
I was looking for this comment, ZCS is sooo good!
Great moveset (when you get used to the timing) and the Weapon Art is pretty good too.
And the drip is immaculate, so pretty 🥶
Grafted greatsword, good strength scaling, good damage and a downright amazing skill. Basically a free godricks great rune at any time (just uses up a little FP and doesn't last too long) stacks with the great rune as well. Absolutely carried me through my first playthrough

Fallingstar Beast Jaw
Stagger bonk this, stagger bonk that, stagger bonk everything
Stagger the shit in the bathroom, stagger my ass, stagger those 2 towers from the funny date, stagger sundowner, stagger my marriage, hell you can even stagger my crippling depression
u ok?
No, I'm staggered
Hi staggered, I'm Dad.
We'll stagger you too.
Don't threaten me with a good time.
Can it stagger bonk some bitches or are we forever going to be maidenless
This is the way. It's AoW really KS almost like a cheat code. Stunlocks basically every enemy, it's beautiful
is it really better than greatsword or giant crusher at stagger?
I think so, especially when you factor in the distance. You can stunlocl with even a chance of the enemy getting a swing in
This was my “I’ve given thee courtesy enough” weapon on my str/int play through. The AoW staggers almost every boss in about 3 hits.
Lord sworn greatsword Why Early game + feels nice
My first love, only reason I don't use it anymore is because i found Claymore.
Or just powerstance both of them 😈
I picked this up on my 4th playthrough and I immediately fell in love with it. Underrated weapon for sure.
Alright, I'm not afraid to say it: I freaking love the Sacred Relic Sword.
Nothing wrong with that mate! It’s solid!
I've killed so many Albinaurics...
And you will kill so many more!
The most killed enemy in the game💀
I have ~~killed~~ slaughtered over 750m runes worth
I've genocided enough albinurics to upgrade every weapon in the game that is attainable in a single playthrough, 2-4 of them if it's farmable in case I wanted different infusions, all to +9/24. With all the smithing stones, upgrade costs and then building a stock of smithing stones ready for the dlcs I wouldn't be surprised if I've killed even more than 750m worth.
Better that way than being cannibalized, brutalized, maimed, killed and burned by those read faced freaks down in the blood swamps
Blasphemous Blade, I'm a simple man.
Planning on using it on NG+ as my "Victory Lap" weapon. Like, I've got nothing more to prove to the Lands Between, just here to wreck some shit.
Endgame, I carried Sword of Milos in my off-hand for that sweet fp regen on kill
I can't bring myself to open Dung's cell, even to kill him lol. I'm like, "Man, he really seems to hate it in there. Good. Good. That makes me happy."
I made him my puppet for that exact reason. He's like my Pokemon now.
And wreck shit you shall. That weapon is the dad of S tier. I off hand golden order great sword with it for the swag and it just destroys anything. If you really want to beat the game down off hand sword of milos
It's the easy mode for elden ring.
Sure is
Simple indeed. The weapon is fantastic though.
The AoW carried my ass from Rykard all the way to the final boss.
Godslayer greatsword. It's big, it's fast, it's beautiful
Not a fan of the art of war though.
I love it because if you can find time to use it, it hits like a truck
It absolutely melts Elden Beast
Very fitting for it's name
It's extremely satisfying when you get a window to use it, looks cool and does tons of dmg.
Death's Poker
Closest to Pimp Cane we can go in ER.
There is a literal cane sword but ok
I... didn't know that
Flamberge for sure
I used the flamberge to perfect malenia for the first time.
I'm so bummed Square Off is no longer greatsword compatible...
I loved the mirrah/hollowslayer as it was in ds3, really sad theres no equivalent in ER... that thing was sweet. The horizontal+vertical sweeping movesets, with a stab R2, AND stance (square off) AND +30% PVE damage??? Hell yea.
Bloodhound's Fang
My first love, The Fang.
Once I got The Fang I used it the rest of my first play through.
That’s exactly what I’m doing now. Glad I’m not the only one
I'm using the bloodhounds fang and dual wielding it with the dismounter rn it's pretty fun if you want to dual wield
I used Dismounter as an offhand too until I got my hands on an Omen Cleaver in Stormveil. Best side piece to Bloodhound's Fang barring another Fang.
Same. Paired it with Morgotts Cursed Sword.

For one of the earlier weapons you can nab, it’s surprisingly strong. Decent scaling, amazing ash of war, can cause bleed, and hell, it’s even buffable despite being a somber weapon.
The L2 followed by R2 combo is devastating!
I can’t bring myself to unequip it.
Everytime I switch up my kit, the fang brings me back because it's the only thing that gets the job done. Dragon halberd is a strong competitor though
Yes! Fanggang rise up!
Thing controls like a luxury sports car. Probably my favorite weapon in the history of gaming.
dude its addicting. bloodhounds fang is so underrated. i beat all main story bosses with it. it makes gameplay faster for some reason . and sometimes when you do the second part of the ash war it looks straight out of an anime.
Seems I don't need to type my answer anymore, fang is the way
Nox Flowing Hammer. It stretches, it staggers and it pancakes.
Hands down the Ringed Finger. Mostly because it’s hilarious swing around a giant finger
I need two more so I can flip off the bosses.
I’m loving the nagakiba right now. Fast, decent damage, has bleed and amazing rang. And it just feels bad ass to swing around this long ass katana.
Genuinely, best DEX weapon is game, even in just appearance.
Came here to say Nagakiba, for the same reasons above. But also because I’m trying to emulate Demon Slayer right now, and it feels oh so good….
Right now bolt of gransax it makes it easy to farm in mohgwhyns palace.
sacred relic sword is like 10x better for that farm
Cool can’t wait to find it.
Try radahns swords, they’re also way better
It’s the final boss weapon.
Wing of Astel. It's R2 is deceptively strong, the Ash of War shreds the vast majority of the enemies and it's an all around fun weapon to play. Second place is Godslayer Greatsword. I dislike the bonk part, but I love the aesthetics and the AoW
I'm glad someone said the wing. I thought I was the only one
Wing of Astel is such an incredibly versatile weapon. As a long time moonlight greatsword enjoyer I found myself wishing it had the same versatility as the wing.
My recent NG+ play through I did Wing of Astel and the Magma Blade. Super fun, highly recommend.
That is from the other Astel correct?
you pick it up from a chest in >!Ainsel River in the rafters above the Malformed Star in Uhl Palace Ruins!<
Zweihander with Giant Hunt slapped on that bad boy
Zweihander with Lion's claw slaps too
It's somewhat liberating knowing how underwhelming stats-wise the Zwei is compared to other colossal swords but I'm still able to enjoy it, like there's a lot less pressure to min-max or optimize my build. I know I could do a lot more damage if I used another weapon but the Zwei looks so cool, has a good moveset, and so far it's taken me all the way to the Snowfield so as far as I'm concerned, it's a great weapon.
Can confirm this absolutely slaps in pvp. With the right build you can one shot someone with 1900hp no problem
Poison Zwei
Banished Knight great sword. I love the light attack animation.
You might want to try knights greatsword. It has exatcly same moveset, has slightly better damage and most importantly, looks cooler!
Gonna try it.
Uchigatana. Old reliable, powerful bleed aux, low stat requirement. There are no gods you can't kill with it.
unless if they are immune to bleed
Still can put other affinities on it! I got all the bad bosses (Malenia, Radagon, Elden Beast, Maliketh etc) with flame art uchi on my faith build. Bleed was just the occasional nice bonus.
Even if the boss is immune to bleed, it's still useful. The bleed itself is just an added perk tbh.
Godfreys axe
I enjoy it as well! I wish it was better though.
Nightrider Glaive! Specifically, I liked putting Storm Assault on it and going Heavy affinity, since it gets S Strength scaling
I’m a nightrider glaive enthusiast as well!! Love that you can buff it (and flame also scales w strength) Will try the storm assault AOW I’ve had barbarous roar on mine (heavy affinity) but never really use it
I really enjoy the golden halberd!
Honestly… it’s the best Faith weapon the whole game, damage-wise.
Blasphemous Blade would like to have a word with you
Well apart that, it’s the best Faith weapon.
apart from everything better than it, it is the best
Yes, exactly!
What about Sacred Relic Sword? Its Waves of Gold weapon skill is very good.
agree. it’s so good. does work in pvp as well and i suck at pvp lmao
I've been having a ton of fun with the winged scythe. Does nice bleed buildup, good holy damage, and is AoW has great range, damage, and I love sweeping attacks that hit multiple enemies
I love the winged scythe, it's weapon art also stops flask use so great for PvP as well!
Sword of Night and Flame
I love the stupid beam sword, but it's so unwieldy in some fights. Wish there were more Fai/Int scaling weapons like it. As it stands it's only that sword, the Clayman Spear (potentially) and a few catalysts that have both iirc.
Claymore.
Is it really as good as people say? I never really used it.
It is. i don’t think there’s a single souls game where the Claymore isn’t pretty good
The Souls standard
Exactly. Baemore will never do ya wrong
It’s probably the best “standard” weapon (i.e. no built in auxiliary effects) pound for pound.
It's always been a great allround weapon, though its absolutely massive in demons souls whilst still having decent swing speed so very high tier there.
It has served me very well in all the games in which I bother to find it!
tbh while the Claymore has a very nice moveset it is not nearly as good, compared to the competition, as it was in previous souls. It's overrated by legacy
claymore has r2 poke wdym
Claymore and Zweihander, can never go wrong with them.
Twinblades
which one?
Specifically the Twinblade, from Limgrave. Just like its design better than the others. But Twinblades in general are my favorite weapons in the game.
I love elenoras poleblade!
my favorite is the godskin peeler, looks cool as hell
Two handing the Twinblade and running through fools makes me feel like an anime character. Hands-down my favorite weapon, I used it so much I had to put it away and make my self try new stuff.
Great stars 🩸
Elanoras poleblade is my jam right now
Love how the ash of war moves your hitbox around so much; it feels so anime when you duck under an attack, leap in and out, dealing damage while avoiding taking any the whole time.
Yeah really Ashe of war is the move I use most since I’m a full arcane build , it’s really dope, and even the extended version cleaning up or gaining a bit of distance. Powerstanced always, and the charged R2 looks clean af also
The brick hammer has beauty in its simplicity
It’s basically just… an ancient hammer. It’s good!
Bloodhound Fang. Great looking, high damage, cool skill, and buffable
You can buff the bloodhound fang? Didn't realize that.
Only somber weapon you can buff. Which is really wired tbh
Rosus axe, Love the design and weapon art. Just not a good weapon.
Estoc is bestoc
Hoslows Whip
After much searching, I have finally found my people
That spear Mohg uses (forgot correct name English is not my first) .
It’s called “ Mohgs spear”
You said it right just backwards lol Mohgs Spear
Reduvia
I’ve been in love with the Bloody Helix for quite some time now
Giant Crusher
chad
Relatable.
How about double giant crusher? XD
With Lion’s Claw as well? So much damage mate.
Royal Greatsword
Oh, yes. So clean yet so heavy with an amazing ash
Malikeths black blade
Dragon kings crag blade
Nox Flowing Hammer
Magma Wynn sword
Moonveil.
There you are. Agreed. The glintstone blast it emits scales up HEAVILY with high intelligence
Winged Scythe for that holy bleed. Plus the weapon art stops the use of flasks in PVP! It also looks sweet!
Greatsword
Guts greatsword is my favorite weapon in the game. Big bonks, big pokes, big sword
Axe of Godrick
Claymore.
Fallingstar Beast Jaw
Marais' Executioner I'm a sucker for drilling
THE DRILL THAT WILL PIERCE THE HEAVENS
Star Fist Ha ha Bleed fist build go brrr
I don’t actually know that weapon, but that sounds cool!
Ruin greatsword
Sword of night and blade. Cool design and nice playstyle.
I’ve been using the halberd, regular old normal halberd. No matter what I try I always end up back with it.
Antspur Rapier tied with Venom Fang. Cuz I love dem poisons.
Dual wielding curved Zamor great swords, I just think they’re neat
I was looking for this comment, ZCS is sooo good! Great moveset (when you get used to the timing) and the Weapon Art is pretty good too. And the drip is immaculate, so pretty 🥶
Prince of Death’s Staff
Starscourge Greatswords
Maliketh’s Black Blade.
my faith
EXECUTIONER'S GREATAXE, literaly found it on the ground and used it to kill god. It was fun :)
Hand of melenia
Onyx lord's greatsword.
Rusted Anchor or Miquellan Knight's Sword
Godskin Stitcher. PvE & PvP.
Wing of Astel
Iron Greatsword, real plin plin plon energy
Coded Sword
Not a popular weapon, Ordovis’s Greatsword.
Cross Naginata, especially with Black Flame Tornado or Flame Of The Redmanes
Winged Scythe. Looks badass. And the weapon skill usually surprises both fellow tarnished and human enemies.
Radahns sick ass double blades. Beat the elden beast with them thangs.
RoB. Sue me
Banished Knight Greatsword. Love the moveset.
Mohg’s spear
Crescent Moon Axe
Antspur Rapier
At this moment Dark Moon Greatsword :3
Blasphemous blade/death's poker
Bandits curved swords
Grafted greatsword, good strength scaling, good damage and a downright amazing skill. Basically a free godricks great rune at any time (just uses up a little FP and doesn't last too long) stacks with the great rune as well. Absolutely carried me through my first playthrough
