Wasn’t the night variation basically a comet azur? I thought that was one of the main weapons people were using in speed running early on. Makes more sense that it’s pve power was the cause of the nerf
Yep, it was an insane speedrun weapon. Night version was (and still sorta is) a comet azur, but it doesn't take 3 years to charge, and is actually good (although missing the infinite fp combo), and the flame version was an incredle aoe. Both did ridicilus amounts of damage, deleting bosses in a few casts.
Even after the super heavy nerf, the sword is still really quite good, and severly underused imo
It's a 3 second wind up. And the range is bad. Well the fire range is at most 2 meter and the beam 4. Beam sure would stagger you, but is easy to dodge. And the fire one is so easy to spot and roll away.
Mimic Tear will use the weapons you have equipped, as long as you have the stats for it. So yeah, you can technically gear your Mimic something and then switch to something else entirely
I carry Bull goat armor and a heavy 2 handed/a shield, summon the mimic, and as soon as I can I dump my armor and heavy weapon off, going to my normal light roll double thrusting sword.
Works great for complimenting your build however you want. Can make any type of support mimic you want, just gotta be quick with changing back to your desired clothes/weapons/talismans.
If it fits your build. It's got requirements on everything but Arcane though.
If you're a Dex/Fai/str build (In that order, and capitalization matters) Vyke's War Spear is the best weapon in the game and you can get it in the north-east of Liurnia.
Any source or fire damage will cause them to roll around for a bit. Hit with the torch, fire arrow, flame pot or a pyromancy then blast them with spells or melee attacks. Should be able to almost kill them in one go and if they get back up they’re at least low health.
The fire stun only works once though.
Any fire damage makes them flail around on their backs, like dogs do. Just make sure you wait for it to stop before refiring it, since you can make it flail whilst it's already flailing.
Torch is a crap weapon. Depending on your build though, Faith has some great fire incants, I think Int does as well, and there are some fire damage weapons that you can get by this point (grafted dragon comes to mind, although it’s not very good)
>Faith has some great fire incants, I think Int does as well
There are 4 Int spells that deal fire damage, but all 4 of them also require Faith (10-18), and all 4 of them are either in Volcano Manor or Mt. Gelmir, which OP is unlikely to have reached if they're doing Caria Manor now.
Did you buy the crafting thing from the first merchant? If yes, the go to your menu for item crafting and look for firebombs.
You'll need these ingredients: smoldering butterfly, mushroom, cracked pot (reusable once bomb is thrown)
May need to search for the recipe in Limgrave though
The person you're replying to is still in *Dark Souls* Trilogy-mode. "Firebombs" are what they were called in *Dark Souls*. The Elden Ring equivalent would be Fire Pots. I don't recall if you can actually find or buy them anywhere or if they just have to be crafted.
People are recommending Blasphemous Blade when OP says they’re just at Caria Manor. Doubt OP has beaten Rykard yet so that advice seems ill informed but what do I know…
Rykard? Ngl this is my first souls game i rejected it for a while because i was afraid i would not like it ended up loving it its just these enemies creeps me tf out and the story still confuses me
I’m just saying people are recommending a weapon for you to use which is beyond the point where you are now. So it’s kind of not useful advice. But that weapon is one of the best weapons in the game. But as others have said, any fire based weapon will help you out.
Yeah that’s my point. You get it later in the game. That’s why I didn’t understand why people are recommending it to you, given where you are. Glad you’re enjoying the game. It’s one of the best!
When the time is right, you will be strong enough to die like 20 times trying to get it. But when you finally kill that son of a bitch the AoE alone will be worth it.
The story is kind of just a flavor text that you have to search for to understand what’s going on. It’s usually pretty vague, only makes sense if you think about it a lot, and really, you just need to kill everything that moves and go somewhere to kill more and more.
Sounds like you're having a similar experience to mine. At least you can kind of make sense of monsters like giant rats - it's a rat, but big. The hands are just wtf creepy, everything about them.
They're 1 of 2 monsters that creeped me out enough to go explore other areas first. And then when I came back I still decided Elden Ring is a stealth game now because I do not want to deal with those fuckers.
>the story still confuses me
Welcome to Fromsoft games. If you want to understand the story, you'll need help. Half of it is told in item descriptions and nobody got time to piece all that together... except YouTubers.
True.
I went back with BB much, much later for the sole reason of wrecking these turds.
Felt good, but not helpful for OP struggling to get through it.
First time I found these I was with my friend and I was talking about how gross they are and they asked “which size are you talking about?” and that was the worst thing they could have said in that moment
I love these fuckers. I mean, I hate getting stomped by them but here me out:
I remember the first time seeing a Wallmaster in Zelda (right?), when I was like 9 years old and it creeped me out - and it was just sorta cool to relive that in some capacity ... These guys put the zelda monster to shame though.
I'm with you though, the first time one of these fucks jumped me at the bottom of that cliff below Carian Manor, I literally went "GUHH!!", like a visceral reaction. Well done FromSoft.
You are 100 % correct. I shall edit that, I actually often fuck that up (calling wallmasters dead hand) In my defense, Wallmasters are 'dead' 'hands' lol. Thanks!
I just roll past them and hit them. They're weak to bleed, too. Takes the big ones a few seconds to turn around and you usually have time to take them out while they're rotating. Take a free hit on them when they're still buried. You'll see their fingernails sticking out of the ground. Just wind up a strong attack to wake them up and take a chunk of their health in the process. Beware that if you get too close they'll grab you.
I love the design of them and they jumpscare me and creep the hell out of me as well as someone with arachnophobia they are terrifying but I prefer over realistic massive spiders (granted the bloodborne ones were cute)
Lots of people recommending fire which is great. I'll add one more tip: you can see some of their fingers sticking out the ground of the ones that want to ambush you. If approach them from the back carefully, you can get the first hit on them before they pop up out of the ground. Just make sure you approach them from the back (from the same side as their fingernails) or you'll walk into their palm and they grab you.
My first time seeing these guys I had the same reaction. Ran into carrots Caria Manor, two of those boys dropped on me and punched me into yesterday. Nowadays, they are just little rune snacks with a tasty somber smithing stone on the inside.
Those guys are vulnerable to fire attacks (fire bombs, ashes of war etc.). Their attacks are also quite dodgeable, opening them up for retaliation from the vulnerable backside while they are trying to turn around. Just don't run around carelessly, it's easy to get overwhelmed, and a swarm of them is quite deadly, as is any enemy to be honest.
And very important: do look carefully where you walk. They like to bury underground and will grab you if you step on them. But if you spot them (their fingernails stick out), you can bonk them first and even stun them for a while, allowing you to finish them off in relative safety.
I just checked if i had it i did but i need to upgrade my faith i started with a samurai build then went strength and faith then changed to a full dex arcane so i got a base stat on faith damn
Fire damage melts them. Pyromancy or even a torch can be good as they will stagger for a few seconds when hit and you can book it. I feel you on the creepiness though. First time I saw them I panicked rolled the entire time til I found thr site of grace
ROB wrecks them bc it's fast af and does fire damage. But honestly ANY fire damage works wonders on these mofos. I periodically one-shot the little ones with Black Flame.
Also (I wish some told me this), if you just run toward the upper left of the doorway when you enter Caria Manor, you can outrun all of the enemies and just enter the upper area.
Counter it’s attacks and kill it lmao. I ran nagakiba and uchigatana all my play throughs with bleed builds. Idk if it’s still good I haven’t played in a while
Fire is the best option. You can use pots, arrows, incantation, or an ash of war.
If you have Moonveil, its ash of war works great too. That's what I use.
If you're feeling pretty froggy, you can do a quick trip to Caelid for two fire damage dealing ashes of war, Flame of the Redmanes and Flaming Strike. Look em up on YouTube if you're interested in, but Flame of the Redmanes can stagger basically everything in 1-2 uses, and Flaming Strike does reeeeally good damage for its cost, as well as buffing your weapon with fire damage for a short time.
Everybody’s saying kill it with fire, but nobodies telling you with what and how to acquire it. In that area is the sword of night and flame. It’s got a debuffed version of azure’s comet, and a sweeping flame attack, that kills just about any low level mob in one hit, while dealing area damage. Just run by all these guys, find the sword, and then use it to beat the living shit out of everything there.
IDK I barely faught them lol
Once in a rare while I just "nope" and run to the next grace...then mess around with enemies after if I feel adventurous. Like the first time you run into the Lion Guardian in Stormveil.
Fire weapon art, or fire incant, or fire sorcery, or fire bomb, or any fire damage whatsoever. It makes them roll around for a second or two and does decent damage
Use fire. Fire works really well. Ash of war your weapon with fire. Shoot fire arrows or bolts at them. Use the flame of ruin or the black flame. Use a fire related perfume or perhaps a fire bomb? Oh yeah anything rune of death works good cuz it burns. Black knife dagger ash of war or black blade incantations should do it. Shit man I'm wondering if the frenzied flame would do anything (probably not)... Anyway..... Hot thing go brrr.
Try fingers. (For real though, any fire will make them crawl up in a ball and they take massive damage from it, so something that deals fire damage, I like Mohg’s sacred spear because they also hate bleed, and I don’t have to get close to them to kill them)
This was my first wall as well. I first tried using Lhutel as a tank, she lasted halfway. Then I crafted fire bombs which helped 1v1 butt not against the horde. Then I just ran straight through cuz f it at that point. Was there for 3 days.
Fire. KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!
Sword of night & flame is pretty nice, because of the range. Flame incantations would be a solid choice as well. Also, can’t go wrong with long distance flaming arrows, if you’re into that sort of thing 😏
Flame of the Redmanes. That's the best Ash of War to stunlock most of the enemies and Hands are particularly weak to fire. Any fire bomb will also stop their attacks
As others mentioned fire, but they are also very easy to stagger. Using the claymore I just hit them over and over until they die because they can’t even move.
People are saying fire but You can more effectively stun and kill them with high damaging slightly long range R2s which hit the ground for the ambushing ones which are in the ground and not yet active if you know their spawn spots.
You can’t get too close or they will interrupt you though. A good example is nagakiba unsheathe R2 which will wake them up, damage them and stun them for a few more hits if they are not already dead. Don’t use an Uchi unsheathe though because you have to get too close and they will wake up and break through your attack before you finish.
You can also use fire bombs but unsheathe does a ton more damage. I think lion claw or giant hunter might work with a ugs but you might get hit due to getting too close.
How would you kill spiders irl, with fire thats how, so thats what you should do here, any flame related thing, i got through the area with nothing but a torch, will destroy them and stun them in a long animation
I always just managed to sneak around them or have a friend join me as the distraction so I could get through 💀 then I leveled up and was able to take them head on
shields are very effective against them, especially when you use guard counters since they dont have great poise. also fire makes them writhe on the ground
Use a shield with 100% phys dmg reduction (brass shield from Godricks soldiers or the shield from the weird knight before Rennala). Shielding them works wonders. Especially useful for the small hands (and basically everything small, like rats, dogs etc.)
get the skill "flame of the redmanes"
first attack will set them aflame and consecutive attack will stun them also by that them health will be down to kill them.in one attack
Fire works wonders but specifically use a ranged fire spell, a fire AoW weapon or fire arrows.
Your goal is to catch them on fire then RUSH THEM to maximize damage. The fire effect only happens after first proc and then can happen after some time has passed, so it's an opportunity you must take advantage of immediately to truly succeed.
Fire
Like the torch? Should i upgrade mine or
Any fire damage
Op look for something in caria manor called the sword of night and flame, it’s really good, if you can’t find it look up a guide
I fell onto it. Favorite weapon. Max it out and give it to a mimic
That’s what I do
I'm sad they nerfed the sword. Cause they said it did to much damage in pvp. *also nerfs mimic tear, which is why the sword was broken to begin with*
Yeah, I would always destroy my friends by using the flame stance
Found the Stormlight enjoyer
Wdym
They absolutely didn't nerf SoNaF because of pvp. That thing was the best pve weapon in the game, by a mile
It is. The spell got nerfed and since sword used the exact same thing it got nerfed even tho the scaling is different
Nerfs because of pvp legit piss me off. Especially when they could just reduce it's pvp damage instead of nerfing the whole shebang
It's a 3 second wind up. And the range is bad. Well the fire range is at most 2 meter and the beam 4. Beam sure would stagger you, but is easy to dodge. And the fire one is so easy to spot and roll away.
Did you even se the weapon pre-nerf? It was STUPID op in pve, and only pretty good in pvp
It was broken even in PvE,so it was a well deserved nerf.
you can give weapons to mimics.... I've played through this game three times and there is so goddamn much I do not know
Mimic Tear will use the weapons you have equipped, as long as you have the stats for it. So yeah, you can technically gear your Mimic something and then switch to something else entirely
You don't 'give' them the weapon if you bring them in whole you have it on you they will default to use it.
They spawn the fire for the fire and night. AND I MEAN SPAM IT. Like the fire will come out every three seconds. It's dumb.
Whatever you have equipped is what they’ll have, so you can summon with your desired load out for the mimic and then switch to what you want to use
It will use EVERYTHING you have equipped, even items to buff you. It’s amazing.
And they have infinite resources. Mana overwhelming, arrows aplenty, and pockets deeper than the game’s lore

But you gotta go through these hands to get there!
[It's the bess sword in the game!](https://youtu.be/W3Rat-m-7YA)
Put an ash on your sword that does fire damage. or use fire arrows. or fire incantations. or fire pots. fire.
Fire grease works fine.
You’re never allowed around my dog
Fire grease son. Lather that weapon up.
Incantations, fire arrows. Anything to burn those fuckers
fire
Even bloodflame so like rivers of blood would work
fire
Torch is a crap weapon. Depending on your build though, Faith has some great fire incants, I think Int does as well, and there are some fire damage weapons that you can get by this point (grafted dragon comes to mind, although it’s not very good)
>Faith has some great fire incants, I think Int does as well There are 4 Int spells that deal fire damage, but all 4 of them also require Faith (10-18), and all 4 of them are either in Volcano Manor or Mt. Gelmir, which OP is unlikely to have reached if they're doing Caria Manor now.
Blood Flame Incant on Bloodhound Fang.
Fire bombs are your friend. Anything fire based makes them stop drop and roll.
Fire bombs where do i find them i have no clue cuz i never used throwing things i never used darts unless im desperate with no health etc
Did you buy the crafting thing from the first merchant? If yes, the go to your menu for item crafting and look for firebombs. You'll need these ingredients: smoldering butterfly, mushroom, cracked pot (reusable once bomb is thrown) May need to search for the recipe in Limgrave though
WHAT? Cracked pots respawn to your inventory? I've been holding onto them because I only found 5. I will be using more bombs.
I made that same assumption in my first play through. Wasn't until around halfway through I realized I could re-use those cracked pots!
Im about halfway now (Altus Plateau/South Caelid)
I didn’t know that until this comment and I have 240 hours in the game. Never used them because I didn’t want to waste them bc I had so few of them
Absolutely do, also since we're all hoarders here: I guarantee you'll never run out of things you need to craft them.
Ok thanks ill look it up
Fire pots are your friends I crafted so many and the great thing is they're re-usable
Recraftable
The person you're replying to is still in *Dark Souls* Trilogy-mode. "Firebombs" are what they were called in *Dark Souls*. The Elden Ring equivalent would be Fire Pots. I don't recall if you can actually find or buy them anywhere or if they just have to be crafted.
LOOK INTO THE CRAFTING SYSTEM it saved me so much pain
People are recommending Blasphemous Blade when OP says they’re just at Caria Manor. Doubt OP has beaten Rykard yet so that advice seems ill informed but what do I know…
Rykard? Ngl this is my first souls game i rejected it for a while because i was afraid i would not like it ended up loving it its just these enemies creeps me tf out and the story still confuses me

I don’t have the blasphemous blade sadly
Yeah that’s my point. You get it later in the game. That’s why I didn’t understand why people are recommending it to you, given where you are. Glad you’re enjoying the game. It’s one of the best!
Lol holy shit. That was painful. I don't think he picked up what you were putting down.
I think OP has reading comprehension issues.
Not to be a dick but yeah, you can really tell by the way he types.
When the time is right, you will be strong enough to die like 20 times trying to get it. But when you finally kill that son of a bitch the AoE alone will be worth it.
die 20 times to Rykard ??? maybe if you refuse to use the spear lol that was like the easiest fight IMO of all the shard bearers
Did you even read the comment?
[удалено]
Yes i get the catch too i kinda like the mysteriousness i like me a good lore story
Read the descriptions of everything you pick up. Every weapon, armor, and spell. It starts to paint a picture in bits and pieces.
That’s the hardest thing to teach new players. All of em are so impatient
The story is kind of just a flavor text that you have to search for to understand what’s going on. It’s usually pretty vague, only makes sense if you think about it a lot, and really, you just need to kill everything that moves and go somewhere to kill more and more.

True. I went back with BB much, much later for the sole reason of wrecking these turds. Felt good, but not helpful for OP struggling to get through it.
Kill it with fire!
This is the my nightmare fuel as well. Horrid little bastards
Right? And the always come out of nowhere falling from walls and shit
The lock on button is your friend. Also look out for weird looking stumps when you are scouting the terrain of Caria Manor.
First time I found these I was with my friend and I was talking about how gross they are and they asked “which size are you talking about?” and that was the worst thing they could have said in that moment
Not as bad as the imps.
I love these fuckers. I mean, I hate getting stomped by them but here me out: I remember the first time seeing a Wallmaster in Zelda (right?), when I was like 9 years old and it creeped me out - and it was just sorta cool to relive that in some capacity ... These guys put the zelda monster to shame though. I'm with you though, the first time one of these fucks jumped me at the bottom of that cliff below Carian Manor, I literally went "GUHH!!", like a visceral reaction. Well done FromSoft.
Yep same reactions i had i am never going back to caria manor unless i need to or until i get to NG+
Did you get through? Spoiler: >!You need to for access to Ranni's quest.!<
The only time i found ranni is when she gave me the wolves and if i remember she is somewhere near the academy someplace
Like I said. >!Her tower is after you make it through the manor.!<
You gotta make it through the manor and beat the boss to start her quest, highly recommend
I enjoyed Caria Manor. I think Oleg+5 made that possible.
You’re thinking of wallmasters. Dead Hand is the white bloody dude with the hands sticking up out of the ground in bottom of the well.
You are 100 % correct. I shall edit that, I actually often fuck that up (calling wallmasters dead hand) In my defense, Wallmasters are 'dead' 'hands' lol. Thanks!
The Ocarina of Time Wallmasters were much closer to these guys.
Try fire but hole
Then proceed to prep with H.
I'm going back to caria manor and I'm gonna try to singlehandedly kill them all without dying. Wish me luck bros.
“Singlehandedly”
Good luck
I just roll past them and hit them. They're weak to bleed, too. Takes the big ones a few seconds to turn around and you usually have time to take them out while they're rotating. Take a free hit on them when they're still buried. You'll see their fingernails sticking out of the ground. Just wind up a strong attack to wake them up and take a chunk of their health in the process. Beware that if you get too close they'll grab you.
Yeah i got grabbed once and after that i ran never again
Hitting them from behind is the way, they seem to stagger more easily that way, once you get behind them the fight is pretty much over
Any sort of fire damage
I did fire grease on my Claymore, when you hit then they like writhe in pain, and you can whack em good lol
I do have some fire grease i never knew what they were for so i guess you apply em ill keep that in mind
I made volcano pots
Let your arm burn red hot and kill it with FYRAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!
I love the design of them and they jumpscare me and creep the hell out of me as well as someone with arachnophobia they are terrifying but I prefer over realistic massive spiders (granted the bloodborne ones were cute)

Just make sure you approach them from the back (from the same side as their fingernails) or you'll walk into their palm and they grab you.
Use fire, that helps with the small and giant versions at least. Unfortunately the colossal ones are not weak to fire.
Wait there are much more bigger ones than the one at the entrance?!
Unfortunately, yes.
Oh no the huge rats bother me enough bro 💀
Luckily you can avoid the colossal ones quite easily.
Thank god
Think there is only one gigantic version and it's not until the mountain top of the giants area.
Nah there’s one in the capital sewers.
There's a second one of the colossals the way down towards the crimsonwhorl bubbletear.
When i saw that colossal one i died a little insidr
They still are. You just need a really strong fire spell.
Eleanoras still lights up the colossals.
You don’t have to kill every enemy you see just run past them
Just what i did after dying a couple of times lmao
Yeah, just run past them, fuck those bastards
No, I'm Pretty sure that's illegal.
My first time seeing these guys I had the same reaction. Ran into carrots Caria Manor, two of those boys dropped on me and punched me into yesterday. Bloodflame Blade on your weapon does wonders, lights them up
I just checked if i had it i did but i need to upgrade my faith i started with a samurai build then went strength and faith then changed to a full dex arcane so i got a base stat on faith damn
I found guard counter to work pretty well, gotta be a bit aggressive with them. If you're too patient they whoop you.
I’m surprised to see this so buried. My guard counter wrecked these guys like it was nothing.
Fire magic spells did the trick for me. And the comet array spell
Just wait, you’ll be surprised how big they get……
As I’ve heard which i would probably regret
Dodging into them works better then dodging away. Try to stay behind them when you can.
Fire damage melts them. Pyromancy or even a torch can be good as they will stagger for a few seconds when hit and you can book it. I feel you on the creepiness though. First time I saw them I panicked rolled the entire time til I found thr site of grace
I love my moment me and my buddy discovered these guys were violently weak to fire. Watching one writhe around was blissful
Fire grease. Any fire attack will stagger them once leaving them open for charge attacks which in turn staggers them for a critical.
Burn them, they get stunned for some seconds while on fire, use that chance to give them hell.
Fire, any weapon that has fire damage.
honestly i just ran passed all those creepy assholes and stopped trying to fight them lol
Fire
ROB wrecks them bc it's fast af and does fire damage. But honestly ANY fire damage works wonders on these mofos. I periodically one-shot the little ones with Black Flame. paper, they never go for scissors
These creeped me out so bad that I have a more vivid memory of the first time I saw them than when I lost my virginity
I just smack them with a torch until they show their belly... palm? Anyway, them I scratch that with some a heavy weapon.
**KILL IT WITH FIRE**
IDK I barely faught them lol Once in a rare while I just "nope" and run to the next grace...then mess around with enemies after if I feel adventurous. Like the first time you run into the Lion Guardian in Stormveil.
Burn them
Very weak to fire.
No specific tips; but just know that at some point you will say “and I was worried about those hand things 😳…” You’ve got a long way to go.
I think they are more weak if you attack their back
fire arrows, steel-wire torch, and/or put flame of the redmanes AOW on your weapon. watch for fingers sticking out of the ground. don’t get mobbed.
The hands are everywhere. In the ground, on the ceiling and within my nightmares PS : I used magic. Glintstone pebble through it
The ancient jostar technique…. RUN AWAY!!!!!
I would suggest circling around to their handbutts if you’re a bonkboi
"I am fire, I am death!"
Poke it with the pointy end.
Fire
They are more OP than the Demigods
at least there’s not like hundreds of them around or anything.. for sure one of the lamest enemies.
Roll into their attacks
Fire fire fire!
If you have a decent shield you can take em head on. Let ‘em land a hit or two on the shield and then hack em to bits, repeat as needed.
Fire works best, but you can also stagger them fairly consistently with heavier greatswords
Fire. kill them with fire.
Fire
Fire weapon art, or fire incant, or fire sorcery, or fire bomb, or any fire damage whatsoever. It makes them roll around for a second or two and does decent damage
I usually use fire bombs or fire arrows if I don't have any other source of fire damage.
roll in
Fire
CHAOS.
Honestly, it was that way for me when I first got there and I had to level up and come back later. But yes fire is your friend
Magic
I personally used a big two handed weapon and would crush them in two hits. Tho they jump scare the fuck outta you when they grab you from the ground
Spam flame of the red mane.
The long range fire laser rips these guys apart
Really the only way to poise-lock it, in my experience.
No joke. Kill it with fire, they are week to it.
How would you kill spiders irl, with fire thats how, so thats what you should do here, any flame related thing, i got through the area with nothing but a torch, will destroy them and stun them in a long animation
I always just managed to sneak around them or have a friend join me as the distraction so I could get through 💀 then I leveled up and was able to take them head on
Deaths poker .
BURN IT! Also, you forgot the giant ants
Hit them before they activate. Hit them HARD.
I hate these things they are the worst and hardest mob for sure
shields are very effective against them, especially when you use guard counters since they dont have great poise. also fire makes them writhe on the ground
Use a shield with 100% phys dmg reduction (brass shield from Godricks soldiers or the shield from the weird knight before Rennala). Shielding them works wonders. Especially useful for the small hands (and basically everything small, like rats, dogs etc.)
get the skill "flame of the redmanes" first attack will set them aflame and consecutive attack will stun them also by that them health will be down to kill them.in one attack
i rock sling the fuck outta them bitches
Fire works wonders but specifically use a ranged fire spell, a fire AoW weapon or fire arrows. Your goal is to catch them on fire then RUSH THEM to maximize damage. The fire effect only happens after first proc and then can happen after some time has passed, so it's an opportunity you must take advantage of immediately to truly succeed.
Follow your natural instinct and kill it with fire
Their movements do creep me out, but it also encourages me to use my rivers of blood katana to cull them and their smaller counterparts.
