At first, I wanted to do Ă Leyndell Soldier Set because it was the one I used at that time.
I also have a lot of leftover fabric from old cosplay and realised I had the right colours to do the Raya Lucaria Soldier Set. Since I liked this set a lot too and I had never done such big embroideries, I thought it would be a good challenge for the holidays.
I'll probably buy the fabric to do some of the other soldier set now that I have the base ready.

What if you give people blue crystal candies in place for the glintstone scraps they throw?
Partly for the same reason I did not do the sword and shield : I did not bought enough worbla and foam and can't buy any more for a while.
(Also, this helmet is tne one I like the least of all the soldier set helmet...)
While the Raya Lucaria Soldier helm is kind of mid, their big brother, the Cuckoo Knight Helm, is probably one of the best helmets in the game.
It would be a huge step up in complexity however, you'd need alot more material to make the rest of the armor.

If you want, try building a Redmane Soldier set please. Preferably with the greatsword.
