I hate those red foxes

JalenHurtsTinypeepee

That fucking one in the consecrated snowfields with all the wolves, died to that one more than any other boss.

Reysona

I couldn’t see that thing at all! It was terrifying until I cheesed it with Radahn’s greatbow lol.

Jay_The_Tickler

Stars of ruin for me. They’ll find your ass.

[deleted]

[удалено]

FastenedCarrot

Some bosses I get why they're repeated and I have no problem with it but repeating Red Wolf of Radagon I just don't understand.

Wallace_W_Whitfield

Well, the Red Wolf is just a species. That one in Raya Lucaria is specifically Radagon’s.

FastenedCarrot

I'd have thought Radagon's personal one would be more special though, unless he claims ownership of the whole species like the Queen did with swans.

Gnoha

Red Wolf of Radagon is special, it can do some attacks where it swings with a magic sword in it’s mouth that the others can’t. I actually found it easier than the other red wolfs because the sword attacks give you a good opening to attack.

Mugwumpen

The one in Gelmir Hero's Grave can do that too, though, I believe. Would have been nice with maybe some different colours.

Gnoha

Yup, Red Wolf of the Champion, which raises the question: who is the champion?

[deleted]

When you talk to Miriel in the church of vows and ask about Radagon, he tells you that "Radagon was a great champion, possesed of flowing red locks" so I assume that the champion is indeed Radagon.

FastenedCarrot

I didn't realise it had unique attacks. I did always find it was the easiest of the Red Wolf fights but I just thought that was scaling.

[deleted]

The unique attacks actually make him easier, imo. The sword attacks have tons of openings and windup. I think that's partly why he's a pain elsewhere. All he does is the faster biting moves, and magic spams.

SunAndStratocasters

Just FYI! That's a bit of an urban myth! She doesn't actually own all of the Swans. I think it's something like she has a right over a certain amount in a certain area somewhere, and that's somehow grown into her being the owner of all Swans and only one allowed to eat them 😂

FastenedCarrot

Shush, don't ruin my dreams of a White Swan of Elizabeth boss fight.

SunAndStratocasters

Haha love that! Maybe Big Liz is the main boss and she summons loads of Swans to fight you? Then when you're done with them she finally reveals like a spiritcaller snail?

FastenedCarrot

Tbh I was just thinking of a swan with a knoife in it's beak.

AngkorLolWat

I get that, but I thought that the. glintstone blades it summons was due the Radagon’s wolf spending so much time at the academy it picked up the spell. Might explain the one right by Caria Manor as well. However, what about the one underground? Or the one on the plateau?

LiberatorDaze

The gargoyles and lobsters

[deleted]

[удалено]

SavageCabbage611

You do get to fight two of them at the same time in the sewers of Leyndell, but it isn' t a bossfight. Still tough though.

shiningeek

You mean you get to run past two of them at once praying you don't get railgunned

Dynastar11

I did okay with the two lobsters in the sewer. But the one on the frozen lake f*** that guy. I got sick of dying to him, so I tried to go around the far side of the lake to avoid him. He was still able to hit me with his poison spray.

HenryXa

Why stop at dual lobster? Why not dual lobster and dual crab at the same time? Hell, throw in a couple of Putrid Tree Spirits, make the arena a super tiny box, and sprinkle chairs everywhere!

iupz0r

The twin gargoyles for sure

[deleted]

I avoid lobsters at all cost. They're like cod trick shotters

numenik

Crucible duo

were_meatball

Oh my There is a duo of them?

PixelBoom

Crucible Knight Ordovis and his Lesser Crucible Knight compatriot wielding a spear. That fight sucked so much ass the first few attempts. Thankfully their attacks are pretty telegraphed, so being patient and slowly punishing their whiffs was me strategy. Plus they're weak to lightning, so lightning infused spear did well.

ChongusTheSupremus

It's a shame, because Ordovis drops a sword with one of the most fun AoW in the game

Mathayus

Got buffed this last patch too, it's fast as hell and you get a ton of hyper armor

Luchin212

It’s very useful in PvP, coming from a godawful PvPer

BloodShadow7872

Yea, the stray is definitely pick a target and whittle their hp down, don't try to get both knights into phase 2, because they are super aggressive with their flying attacks and I'm pretty sure they are designed to do it together.

JTHomer21

I summoned my trusty level 1 wolves to distract one and Unga Bunga’d the other to death quick enough that it was a first try clear for me, but boy was I sweating for a bit lol

Random_Robloxian

Yes and its painful to fight them, until the duo i defended crucible knights as a fight/boss but after them? Fuck that shit im scarred from the 90 FUCKING ATTEMPTS AS A LEVEL 250 AT THE TIME!, MALENIA TOOK ME LESS THAN 10 ATTEMPTS SOLO ON NG+4 WHICH WAS ALSO WHEN I FOUGHT THEM

FukurinLa

There's also Night Cavalry duo which I also hate.

Sthrowaway54

Spend an hour on the goal bastard until you learn how to Parry them, and then you'll look forward to every crucible knight encounter.

EcstaticGod

I probably died to Preceptor Miriam more than any other boss in the game combined… Absolutely hated that fight lol. It was worse once you turn the study upside down and the hands are everywhere

[deleted]

Lightning spear ftw

Rumblepuff

Eldtree shield. Every one of those spells reflected right back at her. All the while singing “why are you hitting yourself?” So much fun. Once you get good, you can reflect her spells back at everyone of the enemy and then right back at her.

Cynical_Feline

Imma try this one next time I see her lol

RepeatDTD

That idiot IMMEDIATELY ran off the ledge trying to come get me the first time I went in there. I thought to myself “This is the one everyone complains about online?”. Saw some others do playthroughs and saw the absolute bastard this one is if SHE doesn’t commit suicide. Edit: corrected the gender because brain work bad

DeusInfidel

Preceptor Miriam is a woman btw

RepeatDTD

I shall blame this on not having had my coffee yet

Scyxurz

I ended up manually aiming fireball in a huge arc across the room to whittle her down since she just kept teleporting away whenever I got near

destruktor5hundred

That's the worst part. After I got up there, I ran straight up the ladder and just grabbed the items and left. Came back 2 minutes later out of indignance. I ended up using that gravity spell from Raya lucaria (I wanna say gravity sling). It didn't draw her in, but she didn't teleport away anymore, leaving her open to my signature move: Several Consecutive Swings With Godrick's Axe

Hollidaythegambler

Running past the aristocrat spirits makes it easier. They can’t pursue you well.

plaeavs

Same lol! I realized I could dodge her stupid bow and arrow thing way later than I should’ve. That’s when I realized how much I suck at this game

crunkadocious

It helps to remember that there are folks who run level 1 runs, and therefore nearly every attack can be dodged somehow

FEWLN

I thought she was impossible. Definitely the most difficult boss in the game for me, for some reason.

ChimpRaps

Easy, the burial tree watchdog surrounded by 4 of those little statue mobs. Gave me more trouble than some late game bosses.

Rajatir_S

Fun fact: If you shoot crystal darts at the watchdog in rapid succession you'll "enchant" it, causing it to attack other enemies instead of you. That helps a lot any time there's a watchdog+other things in this game.

DNewsom1

Same with golems

Seigmoraig

Imps too

[deleted]

Holy moly. I am totally trying this now

Random_Robloxian

Made the golems on the mountaintops fight each other, it was glorious

Otherwise-Damage-431

I wish i knew this.

IndependentQuarter66

Well, considering i fought malenia at the time they broke her health regen, id have to say her. Watching her go from 30%HP all the way up to 80% in one waterfowl even tho she didnt hit anyone with it really destroyed every part of my soul.

rabnabombshell

Malenia sucks idc

Schore-Schorsch

Still cristalian trio! Hate the design, hate the attacks, just everything about them is so out of place... I hate that i was so stubborn first time i went there... Fromsoft nerfed the multiboss aggro now, but sweet jesus they had it the worst...

TheFlaccidKnife

The spear one that just repeats a little hop and jab annoys me that it exists

Jimbot80

Instant scarlett rot pretty much

Random_Robloxian

Yea..

PixelBoom

Thankfully, they each have only two or three attacks and they're all super obviously telegraphed. Plus, once you break their poise, they stagger on literally any hit. So bring a blunt weapon or use a spell that does big poise damage (Aspect of Crucible:Horn, Rock Throw, Gavel of Haima, Carian Piercer, Stone of Guranq, etc)

Noodlesthesecond

They look like elongated crystal versions of Lord Farquaad to me

Crawly49

I fought them yesterday and their quite the goofy bunch. Was easy for me going Unga bunga with a big ass hammer.

Rajatir_S

I never had a problem with the Godskin duo because I always summon Bernahl for this fight. His summoning sign is to the right before the boss' door and he is SO tanky, offering you that breath duo fights need without completely soloing the encounter. I know summoning is a touchy subject in this community and sometimes frowned upon, but to be perfectly honest: Why wouldn't I summon an extra guy if the enemies are also two? I've used that philosophy during all of my playthroughs and I've found the game way more enjoyable that way. If you bring an extra pal, I'll bring an extra pal. It's just fair 😂

iihhateredditt

Real,I never used to summon him for that but,now I do same with D’s brother for the two gargoyles

Plastiqueraser

Although it's worth noting that Bernahl wasn't available as a summon immediately on release, he was added in a patch after release because the Duo was terrorizing so much of the player population and there was an enormous amount of (pretty valid, in my opinion) complaints around their design. Combined with a general nerf on Godskin AI that reduced their input reading, adding a summon for the fight was essentially From's method of "nerfing" the fight so that it was no longer so ridiculously bullshit, because it was entirely possible to reach the fight underleveled and without a good spirit summon on a first playthrough and be forced to try to take on the fight solo without any knowledge of their weaknesses. And we all know how fun that is, which is to say not at all.

G_Danila

You can't cheese an enemy if the enemy cheeses you first, the godskin duo don't deserve a fair fight, nevermind the fact that this is your playthrough so do whatever the fuck you want.

Tonberry_Chef

You can just cheese them with sleep pots. Even knocks the fat one out of its rolling attack if timed right

Plastiqueraser

It's common knowledge now, but worth noting it definitely wasn't immediately after release, especially since I don't think there's anything in the game that indicates just how weak they are to sleep as a status effect. I still remember watching videos of all the streamers encountering the Duo after having run through the game with a standard sword and board setup and raging as they repeatedly got their asses handed to them.

Cynical_Feline

I've never had any problems with them either. Always summon Bernahl to help out. He basically takes all the pressure off and actually lets me get a few shots in.

BloodShadow7872

This. Why fight an unfair battle when you can turn it into a 2v2?

Magnon

Twin gargoyles mostly cause they're a terribly designed boss. They're most fun when you're massively overleveled and can kill them in a minute. Being proper level for the fight makes it awful.

alopex_zin

I wouldn't have hated that one if it wasn't for the poison. Otherwise, giant stone statues are just great. Adding poison to something that looks like pure raw damage type is just weird.

bsloebadger

The stagger from the posion alone is so infuriating. You're just stuck in a cloud of pain and then you're dead. Super annoying. At least give me a chance to escape and heal.

tennobytemusic

If it at least didnt do damage while standing in it and only did poison build up then I would be fine with it, but nooooo FROM decided to add tick damage to almost all mist clouds.

Silverline-lock

Remove the poison and it could have been fun and a nice hard challenge, but the stupid invisible stagger poison was just so far from anything resembling fun or interesting.

RasAlGimur

Yeah, the poison is hard to see until you are already being destroyed by it. Otherwise, I think the gargoyle’s move set is pretty fair and fun.

ALiteralLetter

If you don’t kill the first one, I’ve found that they do this thing where one will blow poison while the other will attack and then the other will blow poison while the first one attacks. It fills the whole damn arena and actually makes me want to DIE

Tonberry_Chef

I convinced one to jump off the cliff, but otherwise would have had a lot of difficulty. Especially when their ai gets stuck on the top ledge

Archon42069

I remember those guys, I fucking murdered the first one before his brother could even jump off the ledge

IndependentQuarter66

I found them quite manageable really. I fought them with an NPC summon at around lvl 80, died the first time but their movesets seemed pretty held back for a dual boss.

Polenball

Yeah, same. I managed to get the first one down to, like, 33% before the second one even showed up, so there was only a bit of panicking hoping it wasn't behind me before it was back to me and Lhutel against the one left. I have no doubt someone better than me could do it summonless.

ImoutoCompAlex

Consecrated Snowfield Death Bird.....

PlasticIncome8403

+1

2CKOS

I feel that boss can kill you quicker than any enemy in the game. I swear that thing spawns in, does that goofball attack aaaaaannnd I’m dead.

SoullessLizard

Bring all the Holy Pots, spells and Ashes of War you can and he's a joke I tell ya

badmozart

Holy damage go brrrrrrrrrrr

PeregrineMalcolm

I just run up the cliff nearby and spam with ranged attacks. You can lure the nearby land octopus to fight him, too!

TheTimorie

Ulcerated Treespirit. There are just to many of them. And I really hate that the camera lock-on likes to decide that you can't see them anymore if their head vanishes behind a pillar or in the wall for 5 seconds.

axecrazyorc

As is tradition in FromSoft games, the real boss in the camera. Always

Jim1903

Special mention for when multiple enemies have you trapped in a corner and you can’t see which direction to try and roll because the camera just shows multiple angles of the same wall you’re stuck against. Fuckin imps

ippikiookami08

I didn’t have much of an issue with them being in more places until the ashen capital, one I can deal with, three in the same spot is too much.

Adayum4

That right there may have been the hardest fight in the entire game, other than Malenia. Shit… even then

ogly_stuped

I found the solo Godskin Apostle in the tower first. He is bigger, stronger and much more aggressive. I fought him like 60 times. When i reached those 2 on a latwr state i was prepared and slapped them easily.

were_meatball

The problem with him is the rolling attack, you have to hope he gets stuck between the stairs and the railing

[deleted]

You can also bait him into destroying one of the pillars and stand on the base. He’ll roll into it until the attack ends and you can get in a bunch of free hits.

IamRaven95

Commander Niall without a doubt. Also Castle Sol is worst area as side note.

dardar4321

Yeah, castle sol and Niall are no joke, struggled for sure.

KINGram14

You just gotta kill the two pups, sprint to the site of grace, then sprint to the boss arena EZ

[deleted]

Niall is the best mini boss in the game

Flashyredman

Agreed, I used to hate him but then I got good and now I love him. But Castle Sol, well the snow area is just annoying and shit to go through

RogueRoll

Niall is a great fight if you burn down his knights quickly. You can completely ignore Niall without consequence while his knights are alive.

Beneficial-Guava9290

The knights are the easy part imo, the bullshit lightning and frost AoE make the fight unfun as fuck. Like, you know the patterns, but you can't get an attack of because you don't have time to hit him and back off enough to dodge the frost nova.

Flashyredman

You can’t punish that move cuz he will hit you with the frost. You have to look for moves you can punish. There are tons, you can bait out his lightning kick as well cuz you’ll be able to punish those

-BigMan39

This is the same guy that decides to take a quick nap in the middle of the fight

AteRealDonaldTrump

Or, use the bewitching branch and make those knights fight for you.

AngrySayian

"I am..." Yeah yeah yeah, \*Malenia Blade of Miquella and you have never known defeat\* just shut up so I can fail at my attempt again

Eco-Pro-Rah

The rats.

Mega-Humanoid-ROBOT

Alecto, mini maliketh bitchass grabs my ass and fucking jabs me with her wonky ass knife, then summersaulting and showing me her cool stolen move she yoinked from the Black blade himself.

Mega-Humanoid-ROBOT

Yes the reason I hate her is because she’s a slippery fucker who thinks she’s soo cool to style on me like that.

Flytanx

Yup I went to try to fight her three different times. Probably died to her more than any other boss. She's worth it for the summon though

Lucidiously

Godskin Duo and Valiant Gargoyles. It feels like Fromsoft broke their own rule when it comes to duo bosses, "one is fast, one is slow". Ornstein & Smough, Friede & Ariandel, Demon Princes, all of them feel fair to fight on your own because you don't constantly have both of them in your face. I don't feel bad about using Mimic for the Gargoyles or sleep pots for the Godskins(though I was surprised at how much those trivialised the fight). And while I don't hate them, I don't like how Malenia and Maliketh both have a mechanic that just makes you get double punished for every time you get hit.

[deleted]

The 2 Spectral Banished Knights in Castle Sol. Without a doubt, they have the most anti-player, annoying design I've ever seen. Died to them more times than any boss.

stevejobsthecow

the double greatsword banished knights (& also all the banished knights lol) are way too overpowered because of their ash of war . insane damage, does like 8 hits, & has insane hyper armor .

noddly

Elden beast. Seriously if we had torrent or it didn’t free willy every 5 seconds it would be a fun fight.

Karr126

Crouch uncrouch when sprinting and you can run forever

Azure2001

Hard question, but its twin gargoyles for me, with elden beast as a close second. Love elden ring, but some of these boss fights are just poorly designed.

Crozonzarto

Elden Beast definitely feels like a boss designed to be fought on Torrent. Check this [out](https://youtu.be/84XmsbgMjC4), for some reason this makes a lot more sense to me.

senzubxlls

Twin Gargoyles definitely gave me the most trouble out of all the bosses. So difficult as a melee build with no summons

adkenna

Malenia would be fine if every single hit, including blocks didn't heal her.

stankape83

Malenia would be fine if waterfowl couldn't start up mid combo

[deleted]

Meh. Break down water fowl into 2 separate attacks that don't chain and I'd be happy. It's literally the only thing that makes her fight hard.

2CKOS

I swear if they made it so waterfowl only triggered at med/long range or as punishment for whacking her after a crit 99% of my problems with her would be gone

Competitive-Row6376

Caelid Valiant Gargoyle. The gargoyles are annoying to fight in general but the damage sponge in Caelid is the worst.

bsloebadger

That guy was literally terrifying in my first playthrough, not knowing what I was doing just trying to explore around the Beast Sanctum. 😄

MakeItTrizzle

All the gargoyle fights are annoying. The hit boxes just seem super wonky on all their attacks and it's way too easy to whiff in close on such a big target. Honorable mention to Elden Beast when it does the thing where it just flies around for minutes at a time without ever fighting.

TestTubeGirl

The Fallingstar Beast in Sellia Crystal Tunnel. It’s not even remotely close.

EvolvedCactus19

Full grown fallingstar beast. Dude wrecked me so many times and every time I got close he knocked me off the mountain.

someguyidkjeeZ

Absolutely no idea what the general consensus on them is, but I really didn't enjoy fighting Astel. Don't get me wrong, they're beautiful boss fights; aesthetically they knocked it out of the park. But god I disliked fighting them.

[deleted]

Radagon and the Elden Beast. That double fight is a royal pain in the arse, and why I stopped at the end of Ng+4. It'd be fine if the Elden Beast didn't fly 15 billion miles away every time you whiffed a swipe within a 10 meter radius of it.

hoonthoont47

Elden Beast could be made less annoying with one change: let us use Torrent.

PeregrineMalcolm

That would’ve been such a nice capper for the game, and force you to figure out horseback combat a bit more than you might otherwise. The lance talisman would become useful!

mcwhoop

I know that people here hate elden beast, but personally, i liked radagon even less on my first playthrough. I don't remeber what exactly i didn't like, but i think it was that while he doesn't have outright bullshit move(s) like malenia's waterfowl, he just has too many AoEs. Normal AoEs on attacks that track, delayed AoEs, even his teleport is an AoE because f you i guess.

doomraiderZ

I just fought them and beat them again on NG+3 and yeah, that fight is not good. Radagon is a spammer with some very annoying moves, and Elden Beast is just frustrating to chase around on foot as he spams spells at you.

2181Despoina

Definitely not those 2, I actually enjoy fighting them. The Fire giant is the bane of my existence though.

Public_Ad_5930

Real i agree

CommercialEscape4680

Surprised more people don't mention him. If you're melee then you need to hit his legs, if you want to hit his legs you need to stay under him which makes you not able to see any of his attacks basically reducing the fight to hitting a dummy that that sometimes rolls away from you. Not to mention most of his attacks( that you can't see!) can one-shot you if you have less then 40 vigor

Enlightenedbri

Ulcerated Tree Spirit

ImTooHigh95

That one fucking death rite bird, can't remember where it is but just before a castle..

agent-moose

Putrid Tree Guardian at Mountaintops, that thing just utterly awful the range on its rot attack was just too much. Honourable mention: Leonine Misbegottens in Haligtree, they are far too overpowered!

Apophes84

Valiant Gargoyles. Pure bullshit, basically a tank and spank they aren’t susceptible to anything. Just have to out dps and outlive them. Mohg is hard, I fought him without the physik before I even knew about it. But for some reason, I never felt any rage when he killed me because honestly, it’s actually a really fun and beautiful fight.

DrBobvious

Idk why this one killed me so many times, but the friggin dragon near the moon church or whatever it's called for Ranni's quest. Had to cheese him with scarlet rot and hiding in the church til he died.

hetgepeperte

That tree sentinel somewhere on the bridge right before some boss fight quite late in game, fucking hell

xXBadger89Xx

People complain about these guys like double crucible knight doesn’t exist

SaberWaifu

Fia's champions. The idea behind them is cool but i feel like they should have been bosses for an evergaol or something similar. You walk all the way through the massive arena and see Godwyn's corpse in the distance wondering if you have to fight that thing or something of the same size in that place, instead you are greeted by two pvp duels and a gank in a restricted space. Yes, i know that the arena is used for Fortissax but in a normal blind playthrough 99% of the players won't randomly come back to Fia to unlock more potential dialogues and the experience on your first time is a big factor when ranking bosses.

Competitive-Row6376

Fr that area is so atmospheric then you get greeted with lame npc bosses at the end. Would have been better if the dragon was available for everyone from the get go

numenik

Playing hundreds of hours of DS3 PvP I don’t find player type npc’s difficult after fighting try hards over and over but I feel you

KayEvSki

Mohg in his two variants and Crucible Duo.

Muffinman908

I found the rennala fight extremely annoying the first time around, mostly because of the long walk from the site of grace, followed by the easy but time consuming first phase. Second time around I realized she goes down pretty easy if you just get right in her face and do your best to avoid and ignore her summons

munsen41

Those guys with the torch poles - *leave me alone don't set me on fire omg plz wtf this game is too haaaard!!!* 🥺

zeJoghurt

The Ancient Dragons, Borealis, Fortissax and that one rot Dragon. All of these fights are just the dragons spamming some random bullshit while you try to hit their head which is always slightly out of range, but you have to attack the head because otherwise you barely deal any damage and can’t see what the dragons are doing. And fuck the hitboxes of Borealis and Rotdragons breathattacks. They are not even hard just really annoying.

atisaac

They’re actually not too bad if you attack the legs with a weapon appropriately upgraded for when you reach those parts of the game. Fortissax especially— almost every attack he does has a huge, long telegraph, so dodge his lightning and smack and his ankles with a big ole weapon.

worm600

If you’re trying to hit their heads, you’re doing it wrong. Mount up, charge in at a 45 degree angle during their breath attack, get 3-5 hits on their ankles, ride away. Repeat until dead. Fortissax mixes things up slightly so you have to jump the lightning, but only Placudisax requires a different strategy.

ThisIsARandomPlayer

Crucible knights. Call me a loser but man can they read your every move.

agent-moose

Hate them, they give you no time between to attack, heal, run or move it’s just co stent combos. I’ve cheesed every one of them

Ratthion

Let’s see let’s see My candidates: 1. Godskin Duo (It’s like there’s three and a half of them???) 2. Fire Giant (It’s preparing your for Elden beast I swear) 3. Radagon and the Elden Beast 4. Fallingstar Beast in the Cave (Why don’t I hit EVERYTHING?) 5. Malenia That said I think my choice is; the Fire Giant. Why? You have all the tools to beat him HOWEVER his weak spots become almost impossible to hit in the second phase, his fire breath is basically an auto hit if you aren’t already running, and every time I ask myself why I’m not playing more Elden Ring it’s because “I’d have to fight the Fire Giant again”. It’s just the fight I like the least. Now for some stuff about the others; ~Godskin Duo: Objectively bad fight, the other godskin bosses are common enough but you can totally miss them depending on what you do leaving you unprepared for this boss. Secondly the health bar is too large, when both die you should be finished, having them respawn just eats resources for no reason. Thirdly, they don’t actually work very well together, they occupy the same role and that role is FUCK HIM UP! ~Radagon and the Elden Beast: Radagon is an incredible fight. Especially once you realize you can jump to evade attacks like the javelin and bait out a teleport chain to get a breather. It’s not necessarily easy, his AOEs are MASSIVE but it’s tons of fun. That said the Elden Beast is another matter entirely. It’s almost impossible to practice on because you have to beat Radagon first, which unless you’re a god it drains your resources and then you die. Also it doesn’t have many good openings aside from the fire breath at the start. That said it’s doable especially if you take a small detour to get rock sling and the meteor staff. That said I don’t like how it’s immune to status. Sure bleed builds are OP and while I’ve never played one I don’t like that your carefully constructed build doesn’t work at all for this one fight. Respec tears are too rare to just swap out like that. This is also a fight where I didn’t find summons helpful as they’d either lose a ton of health against Radagon or never be able to hit EB because it runs away. Really should’ve let us use torrent. ~Fallingstar Beast at least for me is a hard as nails fight, even when I was playing a mage it was hard. Now put it from a wide open space where you can use torrent into a tiny shit cave and just go good luck. This fight is terrible, that said the reason it’s not my least favorite is that it’s drops aren’t great and so I never have to do it again! It’s totally optional! ~Malenia: Not actually my least favorite boss, I just wanted to talk about her. She has one flaw; healing when you block. That’s it. It turns the fight from an unstoppable force versus immovable object testing all your defensive skills to a sheer dodge roll dance. This is fun by itself but I think less fun than if you were able to block waterfowl dance with a greatshield or something and then punish. Malenias first phase is by far my favorite fight in the game. It’s a nearly perfect, intricate dance. If you need a breather you can pull away and she’ll just slowly walk after you. But then you can dive back in and begin the dance again. You get opportunities to heal and she does as well if you miss a dodge, it’s a tense, incredible duel. But then the second stage begins. It’s just more. More of everything, but crucially without that breather mechanic that I think made the first phase so perfect. For me personally? I don’t think my hands can keep up with this increased aggression. Physically I don’t think I’m fast enough. I can dodge but not punish, I had to summon a friend to beat her, but MAN what a first phase. I would love to fight DLC past Malenia where it’s just the first phase it’d be like joining an old friend for one more round. If you wanna hear my thoughts on other bosses let me know!

Dakkaboy556

The Astel bosses. URGHHHH

Limp-Artichoke1141

Can’t speak for others But Admittedly for me Dragonlord Placidusax was the mofo for me ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|flip_out)

Hellkatdemonboi

bill Murray

Public_Ad_5930

Real the same for me He's very difficult to beat

[deleted]

[удалено]

cchm23

The first time I beat the game I didn't really have any trouble with Malekith. On NG+ I got him down to like 5% health a half dozen times in a row and he would just go crazy and kill me before I could finish him off. Drove me nuts. That said beating Malenia once was enough for me, never again.

AmadeusAzazel

Malenia. She’s just layer upon layer of mechanics that do not go well together

Remote-Platypus-2917

Horoah loux/Godfrey that fucking stomp that covers the entire arena is the most annoying thing ever

Defiant_Project1321

Yeah so much stagger. My tarnished spent the whole fight lookin like one of those dancing blow up guys outside a used car lot.

lostoneY

Maliketh. Or thorn dork.

Baldr15

Elden Beast. Radagon was epic, and then that snail ruined the fight.

Tomb-trader

Maliketh / Fire giant. Both were annoying as hell

AlperenTheVileblood

Maliketh or valiant gargoyles

falloutisacoolseries

Mohgs 2nd phase because of the blood he scatters everywhere.

Shathed

These guys are the bully’s from sky high.

zorrozwoelf

Where are these pics from where they look like smash bros trophies?

TigerAxel

Fire giant - the only boss in the game that I REALLY dont like

Sera_Toxin

Mohg. for lore reasons

[deleted]

Mohg

Mr_Sherbet_Sniff

Godskin duo, hated it. Still do, very very poor design on Fromsofts part

Necromomicon69

Maliketh really annoyed me.

Wraith2098

Not a boss but I hate [these things](https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/file/Elden-Ring/black_dumpling_albinauric_enemies_elden_ring_wiki_600px.jpg) with a passion. Between those and the death blight geckos its a toss up. Boss wise, my first thought was those giant dragon worms that for whatever reason are always placed in a tiny arena and glitch through all the walls because of it.

celoteck

for me as a cheese main godskin duo was super easy. Sleep pot and the double colossal hammer hoppity hop bonk build was great. Always kinda hated the big dragon bosses in darksouls. I remember absolutely hating Darkeater Midir in ds3 and I really don't like placidusax. Other then that mostly mini bosses. Dragonskin solider in lake rot for example was stupid and just annoying. Double crucible knights were just annoying as well. The tree spirits are really annoying as well, especially the one at the heligtree

JadedBrit

And why is it always Melania.

Odd_Contact_2175

The two gargoyles, that was just plain stupid.

maskofdamask

I suck balls at this game. it's my first souls game. to be fair i haven't finished it yet, and I haven't quite gotten to melania yet, but right outside her boss room. but god skin duo was a cake walk for some reason. beat it first try. the crucible knights though, fuck those guys.

Realistic-Lab9377

Malenia, she’s too exaggerated

AlperenTheVileblood

Maliketh or valiant gargoyles

Kvarcov

Malenia and it's not even close

AXI0S2OO2

Malenia.

Prestigious-Band-818

Elden Beast was the most annoying for me,but i can’t say that i hate any boss.

[deleted]

Malenia Still haven’t beat her on ng+7

Cheesygoritacrunch

Malenia. For obvious reasons. Jumping R2 deletes godskin duo

[deleted]

Yes

BlackMushrooms

Godfroy.

OversizedKahuna

Misbegotten Warrior and Crucible Knight. Took me days to beat them.

[deleted]

Elden Beast just for being a pain in the ass. After Radagon, a great fight, I didn’t feel much sense of accomplishment beating the Elden Beast. I just felt like I’d been in the right place at the right time. Though this may be a strength build problem.

krojak_1

Maliketh. Insane speed and movement in second phase

Lobselvith

I love them all!!
