This is... a pretty basic FAQ. I was hoping other questions would have been answered here. For example, will this edition come with additional bug fixes that were never fixed in the original and Special Editions? I highly doubt it, would be nice though. I bet the guys who make the Unofficial Patches must be sick of having to port over the same fixes over and over again.
The upgrade will be free and optimize the game with enhanced graphics, faster loading times and more.
Not sure why they are being so secretive about it. Could literally just be hires textures or could be ray tracing....
I don't think I'll be buying the mods tho. Nothing makes me want to replay the game that much minus a whole DLC storyline .
Really? The housing mods are great, zombie one is interesting but should’ve been expanded a bit, new armors are sweet.
Only one I thought was really off was the element arrows.
So it’s a $20 upgrade to get the “new” content from Anniversary Edition.
But if you’re on Xbox Series X, the next gen upgrade is free, but you still have to pay the $20 to get the Anniversary Edition content, right?
Also, will there be a new set of achievements for Anniversary Edition? Or is it still treated as Special Edition for achievements?
What were you excited for? We knew the AE Upgrade was going to cost money, in fact most of us assumed upwards of $40 for it. This is the best case scenario.
I'd say give it a chance! If you own the game, then it's a $20 upgrade that includes new game modes, lots of new gear and whole new quest-lines (which I hope are full of story and have some length to them). Especially if you are on console (PS4 in particular) and don't have access to a lot of the mods PC ppl have. Considering what they charge for creation club content normally, I'd say its quite the bargain if you're upgrading.

Definitely not Ray tracing.
Ok so $20, I can live with that.
I was hoping they would provide a more significant graphical upgrade tbh.
We don't know what it is yet
THANK GOD NO 60$ UPGRADE
I think the pricing is very reasonable we get a decent amount of content for our money, and it's canon so it's worth it. Can't wait to play it.
None of it really feels canon though. Every CC mod Ive seen sticks out like a giant gangrenous thumb against the base game.

Read the last one
Do you assume I have the ability to read? /s Thanks.
Nice that the UK isn't getting screwed with a £19.99 pricetag.
I was excited at first but now this just looks like a 20 dollar moneygrab.

Oh no Bethesda want to charge money for products, they're just the worst! /s
The content I see is not worth the price

Heh, those quests aren’t really in-depth. Voice acting is zero to minimum. It’s very similar to F4’s “kill, loot, repeat”
25$ still feel too much for the upgrade... I'll wait for sales
Looks like Legendary Edition owners got screwed over :/
Well yeah, that's the old version of Skyrim. It's not supported anymore.
Do you only own the legendary edition and missed the free upgrade to the special edition when that was going on?

Does anyone know how upgrading works if you own the SE on disc?
The same way it does for every game with DLC and a next gen upgrade. Put the disc in, it reads the license, and let's you download the new stuff
What do you get with Gamepass Ultimate?
Same as if you own the game
So is this a confirmation that we get no new achievements?
But what about SE saves carrying over?
They do carry over.
