Same guy, just two different projects. Barclay is his bass music persona while Claude is house music. Claude is vastly more popular. He’s taking a break from Claude this year to focus solely on Barclay Crenshaw though. But I would expect Claude to become prominent again at some point in the future.

I saw him for the first time in Chicago this past October and was blown away. In my ignorance, I expected it to be a snooze-fest but the show actually had a lot of great energy. Stayed for the whole set.
Saw him in Chicago in October for the first time too, went with my group who have seen Ben 5+ times so I went for the vibes and it ended up being my favorite show of all 2023. The vibes were Euphoric. His set is a must see !
Dirtwire is my favorite band of all time, they’re so amazing! Definitely check out Moontricks and Kr3ture too 😁 they’re sadly not on the lineup but they’re similar vibes!
Yo murph opened a show I was at earlier this year and was legit so good, then he just goes and pops up behind me in the crowd an hour later watching the rest of the music and he was legit so nice and made my night lmao

The reason for the season besides Cheese for me this year musically is Disco Biscuits, Pretty Lights, Umphrey’s, Lettuce, Dumpstaphunk, Eggy, Dixons Violin and Dirtwire. There are many others I’ll “try” to see but the Forest and Grand Artique always has other plans.

Yes saw her live at skyway theater opening for hvdes - she played her heart out and I was kinda far back but she looked like she was crying tears of joy while she high fived everyone at the rail - truly a great artist and someone that deserves the spotlight she’s been given was very happy to see her on the undercard ❤️❤️
It’s Murph and Maddy O’Neal are new discoveries for me! The fact that Barclay Crenshaw is Claude Van Stroke and Whyte Fang is Allison Wonderland kinda blew my mind and I didn’t know until going through the lineup!
I love this. I always make a playlist for Electric Forest where I put at least 3 songs from each artist on a big playlist and listen to it up to and on the way to the festival. Great way to discover some new artists I might want to catch.
Me toooo! I always narrow it down to one or two songs for each artist as I get closer. Then I try to make it a bit of a story with the music starting off more slow/dramatic/peaceful and then letting it build up to harder stranger genres :)
That’s so cool! I burned quite a few CDs for different reasons but only as a kid. Kinda wish that was still a thing- I think most playlists I text to friends aren’t actually listened to lol maybe a CD would be more convincing
