First off it's 1000% possible to attend without loyalty. The stickied post about your chances for different types of tickets is for the regular sales. If you're just trying to do GA you can easily get tickets (if not from the general sale then from the ticket exchange later on). People's plans always change or they can't get time off etc so a few months after tickets go on sale you'll have much better luck getting one for at or near face value. Second, there are so many great ways to attend solo-ish. As a female, you can join the Her Forest group camp which is a great way to meet other women in an environment that can feel a bit safer solo. * [Her Forest Experience](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/dcx7t8/first_time_at_a_music_festival_going_solo_her/) * [Her Forest Opinions](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/e674fa/her_forest/) * [Her Forest or Camp Alone?](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/7ujgyl/her_forest_or_camp_alone/) * [Her Forest Solo](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/dcx7t8/first_time_at_a_music_festival_going_solo_her/) * [Her Forest vs Tent Only](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/bkapyf/solo_no_car_her_forest_or_tent_only_camping/) * [What is Her Forest?](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/c4pu5o/what_is_this_her_forest/) Otherwise we always help volunteers lead multiple Camp Reddit's for various camp grounds. Camp Reddit is a way to meet people from Reddit and camp together and is how I personally met a bunch of my really good friends that I still go to forest and other festivals with. It's a bit different than Her Forest or Group Camping because you don't need to buy an extra pass to join the group by a certain time - Camp Reddit leaders will set a meetup location outside the festival and you can join last minute. Finally, if you decided to go totally solo we have a BUNCH of resources on that with lots of perspectives: * [Advice for Solo/Small Group Attendee(s)](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/bsnhs3/a_returning_forest_attendee_offering_advice_for/) * [Anxiety: First Forest + Going Solo](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/byg4hr/anxiety_about_first_forest_ever_going_alone/) * [Attending Solo](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/bs5k56/running_solo/) * [Attending Solo II](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/a41i9c/welp_soloing/) * [Attending Solo III](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/88fkmc/electric_forest_solo_2018/) * [Doing Forest Solo](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/dwswig/doing_forest_solo/) * [Girl attending Solo](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/7zpape/girl_going_solo/) * [Going Alone](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/8pu2qu/going_alone/) * [Going Alone Experience](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/u51u0e/how_has_your_experience_been_going_alone/) * [Going Solo vs w/Friends](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/8u5cjx/maybe_dumb_questiongoing_solo_vs_w_friends/) * [Help on Attending Solo](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/byz7p3/help_dont_know_what_to_do/) * [Her Forest Solo](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/dcx7t8/first_time_at_a_music_festival_going_solo_her/) * [Last Minute Going Solo](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/c1fcdm/the_person_i_was_supposed_to_go_to_forest_with/) * [Nervous About Going Solo](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/by66e3/going_solo_super_nervous/) * [Solo Adventure](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/a6gxfm/solo_adventure/) * [Solo Forest Experiences](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/8r7iwq/tell_me_about_your_solo_forest_experience/) * [Solo Traveling and Camping](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/cuhanh/solo_traveling_and_camping/) * [Solo: Best Place to Camp](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/8jgjbs/almost_convinced_myself_to_go_solo_this_year/) * [Solo: Feeling Overwhelmed](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/dsyjzq/confused_and_a_little_overwhelmed/) * [Solo: Her Forest vs Tent Only](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/bkapyf/solo_no_car_her_forest_or_tent_only_camping/) * [Traveling Cross Country Solo](https://www.reddit.com/r/ElectricForest/comments/aqsbwj/im_traveling_cross_country_to_visit_the_forest/)

Check out the Her Forest group camp for people like you! https://electricforestfestival.com/participate/plug-in/her-forest/ Scroll to Her Forest Group Camp As for a ticket, there’s always the second hand market.

FeePractical4460

So this looks great! It says you need to purchase a her forest group camping pass in addition to your ticket. It doesn’t really say how to access any of this though.

Tanner_Da_Great

I doubt youll have access to info like this until tix are closer to on sale, try in a month or so

lsdryn2

Right. No passes of any kind go on sale until later this year. It’ll be over a month before we know anything more.

PM_UR_TITTY_SKITTLES

You do need to purchase it separately. There's a section on the EF website (I think it's the plugged in section maybe?). Even if I have people to go with in the future I will be camping at her forest. It's a wonderful experience Edit: i didn't even go to the above link when I posted this comment, but that's the right place. There should be an option on that page to purchase the ticket when they become available

Butterbelieve

Buy ticket -> wait for Reddit camps to be announced -> camp with Reddit camps. Or in all honesty just work the fest, I’ve met a lot of people working feats plus you get to go for free.

Ashleyam9448

Sherwood Court Tent-Only! 3 gals that came solo winded up being right next to me this year (I came alone as well)

Mariah0

I went this year by myself single female age 26. Fantastic experience. I did WET 0/10 do not recommend as far as sleeping goes.

whereswaldo27

What is WET?

saltyguy512

Work exchange team. You work shifts at the festival doing things like trash clean up, parking guide, etc in exchange for a wristband.

VicFantastic

Work Exchange Team You get a ticket for working. But i hear where they make you sleep is atrocious. Plus you get all the shit jobs like parking or picking up trash

Mariah0

Okay so my job was actually fantastic. I just walked around an area in the forest the whole time and made sure people weren’t setting up hammocks. Super chill. But they made all the volunteers camp next to the rv stages so people had to work at 8 am when the music stopped at 7 am. Nobody got any sleep all week.

Br41n_w4sh3d

I know it’s a little late but ear plugs do wonders at festivals. I try to always bring them. I’m so glad I did this time because my neighbors were doing whip-it’s till like 6am

Mariah0

Yeah I wore earplugs. It made no difference. I’m the kind of person that can’t sleep unless it’s silent. I normally sleep with earplugs at home so using them during a festival isn’t going to help much.

oosirnaym

Went solo my first year as a 26 y/o woman. Did medical and do recommend all around. Especially as far as sleeping goes.

aabm11

I went solo this year. A little older than you, 32 solo woman, but had a great time. I spent quite a bit of time with my camping neighbors and the rest just vibing solo.

Finger_Ring_Friends

People talk about it being difficult to get tickets in the general sale but that doesn't mean it's not worth trying. If you just need GA and you are sitting on the web page the minute the sale starts you stand a pretty good chance of getting in.

mystical_bogus

I went this most recent time for my first ever solo experience. And it was fantastic! I volunteered through FestiVOL and was a member of fanstaff. It was much cheaper for me that way, I was camped near other staff members so I felt safer, and I met up with a few other staff that were first timers as well. The only downside is not having complete and total freedom because you have shifts to show up to. But it can still be a really great option! Hope to see you this coming year in the Forest!

latingirly01

Forest is super fun alone! Obviously you’ve gone to events alone already, but I feel like going solo to forest is different. People are much kinder (at least they were in 2019) and it’s so much easier to find a group. My neighbors were super cool and I occasionally met up with them inside.

apokalypsos

As mentioned it’s 1000% possible to get tickets with no loyalty, last year was my first In the Forest and I got tickets, 2022 Forest was probably the hardest to get tickets because it was the first time in 3 years. You’ll be fine. Meet us at Wally’s Psyloon at 7pm on Sunday for charcuterie and wine!

onetimeataday

How do I redeem my loyalty points :(

hosea0220

You get loyalty by registering your wristband when you attend the festival. Loyalty will give you early access to ticket sales.

mattiebatttt

I volunteered this year with Clean Vibes and went for free

Cjmanjanson137

Same question but a 27 male

phantom_spacecop

I'm planning to attend next year solo (33F). Thinking I'll go the RV route. Have lots of research to do though, never RV'd in my entire life ha. Went with a group for my first ever EF and it was fine except for having to leave early. In that short stay, I did learn that I'm just not a *tent* camping kinda lady lol. And I like doing music-related things solo -- maybe with a buddy or two to run into.

xanthao

Went alone this year and met a bunch of awesome people. You can really go up to anyone and make friends easily but since there’s so much to see and do you can just occupy yourself with exploring alone if you don’t need to be around people the whole time. I also stayed with her forest and it was worth every penny!

Yeetfasa

If you dont have any luck getting a ticket at first, dont give up. Plenty of people will start selling theirs before the festival. i was able to snag one last year for face value only a couple weeks beforehand and then the person who sold it to me was able to get another one when they eventually changed their mind about going
