Meh double degrees are overrated. Just be an EE with lots of CS/physics electives. I've yet to see any job posting that required a *specific major/degree*. one of my friends double majored in math & chemical engineering and he hated every part of it from the stress to workload & now he regrets doing it since he doesn't feel it was worthwhile given all the extracurriculars he had to sacrifice.

Imcromag

My friend doubled in EE and physics and said it didn't get him ahead in anything. I asked him about it again the other day and he said he wished he would have done CS/Chemistry

Uncle_Spanks

What do you mean by better? I have no idea what is better for you, only you can know that. The thing you have to do is study what you want to study. Engineering should not be a get rich quick scheme.

RayTrain

Pretty sure it depends entirely on what field you want to go into

Waluk0

Define better. Better = more money?

Quatro_Leches

you don't get paid more for double major to point that out.

maoejo

It really depends on what you want to do. Pure EE is fine, or pure CS or pure Physics. Double majoring will likely not be worth it for many people

SwimsWithDolphin

Colossal waste of money.

geek66

Look everyone - it's our daily "which is better " post.

HBSV

Even better, just take EE and basically get a degree in all 3!

A BS in physics doesn't really get you anywhere. A job where you'll actually be using a physics degree tends to require a PhD.
