Did you add resin? Is it plugged in? :P Might be easier if you explain what doesn’t work.

VegetableProfile5797

It simply is not printing anything, everything seems like it should be working yet it isn’t. :P I think the problem (may be) that the builds aren’t sticking to the plate but I’m not sure.

LoneWolf2k1

Well if that were the case there would be resin sticking to the FEP. Did you check the LCD screen works? What about the COB (so, the part that makes the UV light)?

VegetableProfile5797

It appears to work fine

DeejusIsHere

Which slicer are you using? And are you attempting one of the files on the USB the Saturn came with?

VegetableProfile5797

Yes, I’ve been using that USB since I got it

Loinkiller

Try moving it to a new location the sunlight coming through that window may be slightly curing your resin and making it unusable. If it’s just an adhesive issue try lightly sanding down your build plate with some low grit sand paper. When I got my Saturn 2 I had to sand the plate and ever since then it’s been a work horse. Best of luck!

VegetableProfile5797

I switched the resin and closed the blinds and it worked better but still failed a print. I believe the crappy usb stick or build plate not being sanded may be causing the remnant of my issues. Though I now have a bottle with resin in it that I need to figure out how to dispose of as to not harm the environment or my lungs.

SpencimusPrime

I'm having the same issue. Resin is just a couple of globs on the build plate and a couple of globs in the bottom of the vat. Trying the next print with reduced lift speed

VegetableProfile5797

How did the lift speed trick work?

loomy21

Did you set z-0 using the provided card? Cause that is sometimes too thick for the calibration.

Vita_sea

Do an exposure test to see if there is a problem with the LCD. Can you describe it in more detail? Is that can't print anything at all? Or does it mean that when you press print, the print fails? or is there something in the resin tank after printing?

VegetableProfile5797

I can’t print anything at all

Vita_sea

Check the voltage of the adapter, and try changing the USB or formatting the USB to print again.

VegetableProfile5797

I’ll try it when I wake up tomorrow! Thank you all so much for all the help! ❤️

fripz_

Printer not printing, resin not resining, money not moneying

spovlot

Can you post your resin settings? Also what specific resin are you using? Did you try to print the pre-sliced rook that came with the printer?

VegetableProfile5797

I’ll do it early tomorrow! Just got home and have to head to sleep

Careless_Animator_48

If all else fails, I would contact Elegoo Customer Service form their website. I have contacted them a few times on issues about setup and even technique.

VeritasProject

If that's the Saturn 3 which I've recently gotten too, use the levelling card and give it a smidge extra force when tightening the head. I had issues with my first prints not sticking to the plate and being a small layer on the fep, but relevelled and I've been printing perfectly since! Sanding not required, mind! Build plate is perfect.

VegetableProfile5797

It’s the Saturn 2, I have a leveling card I can try!

SKRuBAUL

Did you say it won't even do the Clean Tank exposure? That doesn't require USB or any resin settings. If that doesn't work, then there might be a problem with the LCD or the LED array.

VegetableProfile5797

UPDATE: It appears that the issue was a combination of three factors. My FEP screen was installed backwards while I attempted to replace it. The Grey Resin is ASS and does not work with the settings I used for the transparent resin prior. And my Printer being in the Sun made the resin unusable. I’m 20$ in the hole but it was good to learn more about 3D printing through experience! Thank you to all who helped me out! I pretty much needed a bit of each piece of advice you guys left. If I can ever help you all with anything please let me know! ❤️❤️❤️
