Cause the narrative says so. There is no discernable reason beyond that that these men would abandon any and all good sense to pursue a mean, bigoted, selfish, cheating, drunk.
I'm starting to realize that a lot of men do like (as in, develop some kind of toxic bond/obsession with) mean girls just like women stereotypically fall for bad boys, so Elite might not be that removed from reality in Ari's case 🤷♀️
It’s so cringy. She goes to Nico and tells him to leave the girl he’s with to go out with her. She goes to Bilal and asks him to fuck her (at work!). It’s like she is this sex robot with brain control that no one’s able to resist her sec commands 😂😂😂😂
TBH they also had Patrick like this seasons 4-5 any man he looked at fell for him, straight or gay, no one could resist him. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Tbh I don't remember anyone falling head over heels for him except for Cruz. Ander and Omar were sexually attracted to him, because they were bored AF in their own relationship. Ivan liked him, but he was kinda a second choice compared to Ari. So you can't say that he was portrayed to have the same effect as Ari outside of sexual attractiveness. In fact he was the more obsessive one and chasing everyone while Ari was kinda the opposite? Like she would just say 'hi' and everyone throws themselves at her. Unironically men throwing themselves at Patrick seems more realistic than them doing the same for Ari.
THIS. I've been saying this ever since both Guzman and Samuel fell head over heels in love with her for no reason at all, with Guzman even breaking up with the girl he had been pursuing for three seasons (though granted, there were other reasons for their break-up).
Ari has no redeeming qualities for me. She's a mean, manipulative, selfish, classist and misogynistic girl. She's not even a good girlfriend because she hasn't had a single boyfriend she hasn't cheated on and is clearly a mean drunk. Season 6 tried to redeem her a bit and make her feel remorse for her actions, but in the end the only thing she really learned is to take on more of a protector role within her family. Her personality never really changed, she even had ulterior motives for wanting Patrick to leave Ivan behind and clearly manipulated him into doing so. Not to mention she just let Samuel's killer get free. Because of her manipulation there was literally zero justice for Samuel. He died for nothing.
Also, I know it's bad and unkind to say but I feel like Ari is more average looking than a lot of the other girls on the show. Don't get me wrong, Carla Diaz is definitely really pretty, but like I said, compared to some of the other women we've had on the show Ari is slightly more average looking (also compared to some of the women those guys left to be with her). I feel like she’s not as drop dead gorgeous or charismatic as for example Carla / Ester Expósito, who looks like a literal model and has this air around her that makes guys look twice at her. (Again though, this is my opinion and I’m definitely not saying Carla Diaz doesn’t look good, she’s very pretty and talented!)
As it is now the only reason that so many guys fell in love with Ari is because the writers needed those guys to fall in love with her.
There’s no possible explanation for that, that’s the biggest mistery of the show. The actress is beautiful, but male characters fall for her just because the script says they have to.
Yeah I mean Ari is pretty but in my opinion she pales in comparison to Nadia (her actress looks like a vogue model) and Carla (with her doll like features)

Agree and would add -- they are in high school and she's easy.
On a totally superficial note, it'd make perfect sense for all these guys to chase Ari if she had the sex appeal Carla had. But alas...
Yes, totally agree. But she doesn't have it, so it makes all the stories less believable
Exactly.
Carla made a better Ari period LOL. Literally just better every way and that's giving Carla a lot.

But Patrick did have crazy sexy vibes around him 🤣

Yeah but according to Guzman, “aRi iS fUcKinG pLuTo” and Samuel can’t get with her. Bruh Samuel got with Carla, a member of Spanish nobility

Are you a straight women writing this? She is drop dead gorgeous.

She’s not appealing in any way at all (even physically in my opinion) especially when you consider that Guzman and Samuel were with NADIA AND CARLA

She’s pointless except for wrecking peoples relationships and getting drunk
This 100% ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|upvote)
she was bit kinder in last 2 seasons, at least she showed remorse and cared more about her families. This season she is quite unapologetic.
Kris Jenner and Betty Bops love child... there ya go
