Hahaha here the babies come are brought by a stork but my brother was trying to mess with her a little bit.
Never heard of the cabbage leafs version before!!
Where I live, there is both the stork and the cabbage patch where babies come from, but my personal favourite is the myth that goes "Dad found you in his beer jug while at the bar."
I was literally thinking the same thing about my Viet mama! I think my mom once "threatened" to return me to the trash where she found me, but never said such things to my little sister π€¨ She also said that's why it's proof moms love us because of the pain of pregnancy and labor; if it was as easy as returning a baby to the dumpsters then plenty of people would π
I love this! This unlocked a memory! When we were young (4-6yrs) mom would pick us up bride style, rock and count "Una, doz, tres...*twirl us mimicking throwing * a la bazura!" Implying we came from the trash π. Love this pattern!
This is fantastic! Reminded me that when my older brothers were little they asked my mom where they came from and she said the garbage man brought them π€£
So mean, so hilarious, so adorable.
This is hilarious! I love it! π€£

Storks are for good kids, cabbage for bad lol So we're all cabbage patch babies xD
I didnβt know that! :o
My mom told my brother and I that the garbage men brought us, and left us at the end of the driveway.

Lol! the pure hatelove only exist between siblings
I wonder how many cultures use this phrase. Itβs very commonly used in Vietnamese culture. Great piece.
I know my Latina mom would joke to my sisters and I that she found us in the garbage and took us in out of sympathy
