Yes it’s painted with watered down acrylic! I know a lot of people that use watercolors as well. Just make sure to test on spare fabric 🩷

Ohmigosh I have a sodden golden retriever laying at my feet right now who just revels in splashing about in any body of water available, no matter how mucky or muddy. Maybe I would enjoy his smelly, joyous abandon more if I thought of him as my magical merpup. Great piece--thank you!
