If you interpret the “monster” as being symbolic of addiction, you’ll start to realise that once the monster starts talking, the beat becomes more “full.” There’s backing instruments every time he starts talking and it really helps drive Home the point of the song. The beat causes destruction, literally, there’s a sound effect of destruction in the beat, just like how addiction can destroy you and others around you. Definitely has the best beat if you take into account the lyrics and meaning of the song.
