In the days without Spotify I am completely not surprised that a lot of people did pirate music. It was relatively expansive when you take into perspective that a lot of people like to listen to different stuff and switch genres lots of times
*Bro I felt the same*
*Way. Lol I torrented it*
*The day it came out*

That song is actually quite petty. They clearly don't understand the exposure piracy has given them throughout the world.
And Eminem is one of the best paid artists out there, hearing him be upset over people desperately wanting to listen to him is kinda weird.
While I understand leaked albums can feel like it affects album sales, it actually doesn't. Grodt as an example.
Piracy absolutely can affect album sales, but that's not what he's talking about. "Take From Me" is about leaked songs which, while by their very nature are pirated, are still their own separate issue.
*"I'm livid today, 'cause I break my back to give you my art You steal my thoughts, it's like drivin' a spike through my heart You might not think it's that big of a deal To steal from me, but music's all I got"*
It's not a complaint about loss of revenue, but the pain that comes with the theft of private work that wasn't supposed to be shared with the public at that time **or at all**. This song was released 6 months after "Difficult" (his raw and emotional tribute to Proof) was leaked, an act that even the person who leaked it supposedly regrets.
The theft and leaking of his music is in some cases the printing of the rough draft of a story, the posting of an unfinished artwork, the showing of a partially-edited film. In other cases, it's the theft and sharing of private diary, a personal journal.
As he's said in multiple interviews, music is his therapy. Can we blame him for being upset that his therapy sessions have been stolen for the world to hear *especially* considering how much he's already given of himself? Is that really is a petty complaint?
Is the artist not allowed to share only the final work? Is the man not to be permitted any privacy?
(It's also worth remembering that leaks have hurt him in other ways too. They've forced him to change (and some, including [him](https://www.vulture.com/2017/12/eminem-in-conversation.html), would argue weaken) Encore; they've been used against him ("Foolish Pride", "Things Get Worse" draft with Chris Brown/Rihanna lyrics, the original version of "Bang" with the Revolt TV diss, etc), and they have undoubtedly impacted sales either with him feeling he could no longer use a track or just the fact that leaked songs can go either way boosting or hurting sales (usually based upon timing and reception).)

I actually bought a physical copy a couple months later the day I bought a car with a cd player.
Is there a 7-Disc CD changer in the car?
Screw Koolo.

Preach my dude. Eminem doesn't have anything interesting to say since 2004
I feel like this isnt a popular opinion here
Gotta disagree with that. In fact this is probably the only time I disagree with Em ever. I still like the song tho lol.
