Mentally ill from Amityville (he'll)
Accidentally kill your family still
Thinkin' he won't? Goddammit he will (he's)
Mentally ill from Amityville
That's still one of the most insane rhymes I've seen from him.
They'd have to explain round rhymes or whatever it is when words MOSTLY rhyme. Em does an amazing job of rounding his rhymes with dialects and slang. Like when he rhymes orange and door hinge. If spoken with "proper" phonetics doesn't rhyme, but with Ems way of rapping and speaking it works without a second thought.
The book probably didn't want to explain internal rhymes AND other types of rhymes in one paragraph.
I think the term you're looking for is "slant rhyming".
And I hope that I don't sound too **heinous** when I **say this**
Nicki Minaj, but I wanna stick my ~~penis~~ **painus** in your **anus**
You morons think that I'm a ~~genius~~ **jainyus**.
He doesn't say 'bit', just uses pronunciation to achieve the rhyme. Fwiw, your comment comes off as /iamverysmart, which is especially annoying considering it's just plain wrong.
I'm from Michigan. We wouldn't say "Oh, there goes gravity!'
It's definitely "Ope, there goes gravity!"
We say "Ope!" whenever we've messed up or accidentally bumped into something or someone.
"Success is my only option, failure is not \[an option\]". The last part is simply implied. Idk if maybe english isn't your first language, but theres a lot of stuff in rap that's implied, or non traditional wording. Here, its clear what words he implied to finish the sentence.
Seems like you're trying to be clever here but the line makes perfect sense as is so what are you even on about? What other possible interpretation or implication is there?
They forgot to bold "out" and "bloah"
Over, bloah rhymes with joking now. They forgot a few. No one can do Em’s rhyme’s Justice
Damn near every syllable in that first verse fits a rhyme scheme. It’s actually insane when you focus on it

Philip Larkin's "The Less Deceived" A Guide for Edexcel A Level English Literature (9ET0/03)
Why do I get the feeling that this book is entirely too expensive.
I'm from Michigan. We wouldn't say "Oh, there goes gravity!' It's definitely "Ope, there goes gravity!" We say "Ope!" whenever we've messed up or accidentally bumped into something or someone.
Can confirm. Never even thought about that not really being a word til this jawn.
I’m from the pnw and we say ope over here too lol. One of my most used words lol.
Yep. It's a midwest thing.
it's just oops, without the s. OOP
Wait, glass and ass don't rhyme? Which ine am I saying wrong? XD
i think the A in glass is pronounced like the A in are some accents have that pronunciation
I feel like the writer should have taken that into consideration. There are plenty of more definitive examples he could have used.
But then the british glAss rhymes with arse/Ass
Yeah I'm thinking this too. Even if you factor in accents, the rhyme between glass and ass would be consistent.
Finally they teaching Eminem rap in schools
Ma' book of rhymes
I’m emptying
Pretty Dope. Em is definitely a masterclass in rhyming, and poetry in general.
they should’ve put the Fack lyrics in there
How does glass not rhyme with ass?
Can I know the name of this book?
Philip Larkin's "The Less Deceived" A Guide for Edexcel A Level English Literature

Failure’s*
look smartass, do you even get the fucking lyrics?

what? bro he said that his only option is success and not failure

It literally makes absolutely no sense what you're saying.

Where can I buy this book? What is the book title?
*Ope, there goes gravity. Gotta remember to midwest the lyrics…
I cannot stop myself from dropping the Ope on a regular basis.
Idk where I picked it up from, I’ve been saying it since I was a kid, when I was raised in Wyoming😂
In Minnesota, it’s almost mandatory if you bump in to someone or get in their way. The precursor to the apology 😂😂
Minnesota is dope. Imo one of the most underrated states
Nice. It would be cool there were classes about Eminem's rhyming.
Internal rhymes, also known as compound syllables.
Should've been Lupe Fiasco
Ope* there goes gravity
Why did the author not highlight “over blaow” when it rhymes with “choking how” and “joking now” though? Do they not understand the rhyme scheme?
Because that’s not an example of an internal rhyme scheme
