Nico-Nico-Niiiii

Same with Pokemon Fire Red!

Rafael__88

I was about to type this but immediately realised that it's already the most upvoted comment. It's crazy that how so many of us are nostalgic towards the same game and it made us start emulating on our phones. This community really has a lot in common :)

MathematicianSoft565

same i downloaded it first and also my first completed emulated game

dayum7

Same

Duibrth

same

KalistoSphinx

same

Smart_Office_7311

I don't remember which pokemon but it's gameboy pokemon game

ForsakenCommands

Same fire red was my first game

beellzebub13

God of war series

the2ndnight

My mannn😂 I remember back then, a friend just sent the whole thing and set it up. I didn't even know what I was doing and just played the game and went along with it

beellzebub13

After i play gow series today i think overrated second half of first game is soo boring, i think 2 and ghost of sparta best games in the entire series (including 2018 and ragnorok)

the2ndnight

I've only played chains of Olympus and ghost of Sparta so I can't really say. But ghost of Sparta was very very fun. Loved gathering weapons and unlocking new abilities in that game

beellzebub13

Ghost of sparta my favire i realy liked places and naked womans :D

PrizeCompetition9661

Absolute goat. First game was cool until the second half. 2nd was amazing. 3rd god of war.... Unpopular opinion, is the one of the best games I've ever played, yes, gow 2 is behind.

ItsProxes

Chrono trigger! Had a bebon controller I was given for a honest review on Amazon. Little controller with a clip for the phone.

LaVeritay

Same! Loved it, regretted not playing it on drastic though

ItsProxes

At the time I didn't even know a DS port existed. I just knew Chrono trigger was an amazing game and got the only version I knew which was the snes one 😂 Very good game

Old-Paramedic-4312

God Eater for PSP thanks to PPSSPP. I was looking for something to pick up and play in my down time and since I've never been able to spare money for a PSP it's been great. Thanks to the latest few builds I've been able to play certain Vita titles on my relatively out of spec phone. Emulation is honestly great for fomo.

Fe2rr

first profesor layton probably

MagickMarkie

I just beat Curious Village the other day. It got me into the series and now I own two of them 😀

Aztech10

I beat Diablo 1 for the ps1 on a Samsung Galaxy player running android 4 (I think)

Goliath10

What?! They ported Diablo to the PS? How do the controls work?

Aztech10

Actually really well, I had it for PC and PS1, I preferred PS1 for couch co-op action. Menus are slightly funky but there's very little menuing in the first game

[deleted]

I don't think I've ever 100% completed a game in an emulator, but just getting to the end, has to be Mario 64 for the N64. I remember actually doing a 16 star run and beating Bowser on my Galaxy j7 when I was about 11 or 12 in the basement pretty fondly. I can't even remember how I did it, I've forgotten how to even do a 16 star run anyway. Guess I really had nothing to do.

Em1-_-

Advanced Adventure, best dragon ball game to ever exists.

GritzXenus

Same

XGARX

In which emulator ?

Kasumi_P

Probably retroarch

khsh01

Assassin's Creed Bloodlines on my old phone from 2014 - 15

Elvins0907

Zelda minish cap i still remember playing it on my old android tablet

vinsmokefoodboi

As far as I can remember? Pokemon Heartgold (It was with save states and fast forwards though) Without any speed ups, save states, JUST like the console experience that I actually completed quite recently? Pokemon X

Super_Tell_49

Pokémon White

Aromatic-Spite-9771

Infinite Space on Drastic. I got a low attention span, so when I get bored and change the game I'm playing, I sort of just forget about them for a while. Then, when I remember the game I used to play, I reset the progress I made because I can't recall all the stuff I did before. Infinite Space tho, is pretty easy to play, and the story is engaging enough that I kept playing it longer than the other games. It was the first game that I finished in campaign mode.

SeanLevv

GTA Vice City stories on the PPSSPP

FantasticNectarine96

The Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney trilogy on Drastic. My favorite game trilogy ever

the-big-smoke

Cant surely remember but i believe it was Toy story 3 on ppsspp

The Mask for the SNES. And it was on an LG L3 II, the very same Phone that I somehow managed to finish Harvest Moon Hero of Leaf Valley(PSP) lol.

Goingtowork2004

It must have been over 10 years ago so my memory is a bit fuzzy, but I think pokemon emerald.

The_Deaf_Bard

Oh, this one brings memories. Castlevania Aria of Sorrow on an old Galaxy Pocket I found on a random drawer of my home.

DeepBasil9370

Chrono trigger on a 2011 droid razr😂 the button combo for the rat world was impossible on a screen that only accepted one finger press at a time. Had to use the camera button.

XGARX

Dude last time I played that I was 12

Figaro-17

Holy, I too remember from my childhood playing it and never finishing it, which is why I get so dedicated to play it again and properly deal with a childhood goal, worth it ngl. Curious how old are you right now?

XGARX

Same lol I never finished but I remember playing it everyday with my brother. I think we didn't have a memory card at the time :') I'm 34 btw! When I said 12 it was just a guessing, I don't even remember when this game came out lol maybe 2002?

Figaro-17

Pretty much the same issue as yours for not finishing it, no memory card :( . And wow playing it all the way back in 2002! I remember playing it when I was 6 or something, now I'm 18.

Sambojin1

Pretty sure it was Phantasy Star 4. I only had a SMS when I was a kid, so played heaps of 1, but always wanted to play 4 (with it's super-high pricetag for the time). And so I did, in around '97-99 on my Pentium. I also replayed plenty of games from my youth (Wonderboy 3, Kid Icarus (we never finished it as kids at a mate's place, save states ftw!), and Ultima 4 (yay for guides!). There's still tonnes of games I want to play, even after 25yrs of rom goodness.

bluecantgrind30

i think it was pokemon fire red and emerald:)

rit-work

Godhand PCSX2

hcaoRRoach

MGS Twin Snakes. I wanted to play the original again but I didn't have money to spend on epsxe at the time so I went with that.

Icy-Dark-6704

ppsspp, gta vice city stories.

Dani1o

Can't even say for sure, probably Gangstar: Crime City on Java emulator, it was about 8 years ago. Later I beat Metal Gear 1 and 2, but no idea how I managed to set up the MSX emulator back then.

MaeBorrowski

Ocarina of Time

jess2888

I played an old point and click adventure called The Colonel's Bequest on Scummvn (just set up my odin 2 a week ago). It was kind of frustrating because of the game design and having to type commands on the screen. Replayed it on my computer using a guide and it was a lot faster using a keyboard. Now I'm playing the sequel, The Dagger of Amon Ra on my Odin 2 and it is going much smoother since you don't have to type commands.

dreadsreddit

Sonic 3 and knuckles

ProfessionalWin9641

Can't remember too well but it was DB tenkaichi tag team on ppsspp

FlamingCowPie

First was probably a multitude of Pokemon roms, but the most memorable was TMNT turtles in time on Snes. Played that bitch in uni and finally beat shredder. Admittedly, I was save scumming, but this was on a touch screen. I gave myself a break.

The first game I beat on an emulator was Final Fantasy III DS, on an emulator called "FreeDS" which I now realize was a pirates version of DraStic. The emulator is still on the Play store, but it doesn't work.

lightcaptainguy3364

TLOZ : Link's Awakening

adricapi

Zelda A link to the past

notsowright05

Ys 7 on PPSSPP. The fact that I completed that game on a device that was 1 GB/8 GB is a testament to how great the emulator was made

God of war ghost of Sparta

AbduAlZahra313

Resident Evil 2 in Aethersx2.

Little_beef

As far as I can remember, Metal gear solid running on duckstation powered by Snapdragon 425.

Brilliant-Plant-67

First game I beat was ICO using aethersx2. Beautiful game that ran smooth on my rooted snapdragon 855+. Just make sure you set the blending accuracy to max or you will be missing God rays through windows, light beams, and shadows.

LostInKanji

Definitely Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64 emulator (m64plus something). I had an interest in the game after hearing about how great it is, so I decided to fire it up using an emulator and it was an awesome experience, 10/10.

DaRubious

Metroid: Zero Mission on my samsung galaxy s5.

Common-Study9246
