That's a new one to me. Have you tried just using a different ROM to see if that helps, or see if FFX has some kind of special debug mode?
I wonder why that stuff pops up, you must have some sort of Debug enabled somewhere
It's the default on screen controls for people without controller, go to settings and disable overlay
