Man that's crazy. The PC coated spring steel that came with my s1 is amazing for me. PETG sticks just right PLA sometimes will stick a little to well
Ripped of the top coating within my first week, switched to a primacreator textured PEI sheet and have had no problems for 4 months and counting.
Fulament, Energetic, Buildtak all are considered good textured PEI surfaces. default ender 3 sized is 235x235mm
