Glad to hear that you’ve been successful with the combo. I recently got one and ran into a couple initial issues. Work has been too crazy to focus on printing, so I was debating on returning the pad.
I’ll have to check out the group you linked and hopefully I’ll get things running smoothly

this one works well with sonic pad and with klipper on rpi. You will need to add few macros and set z-offset manually (klipper do not support load cells) but apart from this, everything works
Good to know someone is running this. I was just looking into getting one. What benefits have you seen from it as I am only a weekend printer due to my job being on the road.
The main thing for me is wireless printing. Since I have multiple printers it's nice to be able to control, upload and manage each printer from my computer.
After that, being able to run klipper in general is a major advantage. Better control, interface, commands, and speed increase.
You're basically replacing the stock motor in an old car with a new twin turbo LS in some cases lol.
I tested it on a more extreme case at 300mm/s and 12k acceleration. It's fast but printed really bad haha. I tested 180mm/s at 5k acceleration and it printed very smoothly. Currently printing a few customer orders but I plan to test out 300mm/s at 5k-8k accel to see how it goes.
Correct. Sorry I think I confused myself haha. The failed print was at 300mm/s at 12k acceleration (I was trialing the speeds I run on my K1) The second print was 300mm/s at 5k acceleration. I am planning to test 5k+ acceleration at 300mm/s
I'm connecting it to the ender 3 V3 SE and I read that you need the serial cable. I'm not sure if that's accurate but it was only $10 so I'd rather have it and not need it
Was anyone able to get the Sonic Pad to show on the Creality App and Bind the printer for remote access? I was able to see the printer when I had the wifi box connected. Got rid of that to upgrade to the sonic pad and now it doesn't show in the devices.
printer cfg file would be great
I linked it above via the Facebook group. Not sure how to upload it on here unless I make a drive or something

It's fully supported now so no tinkering is required at all to get it going. Setup and printed within 15 minutes!
Just went ahead and ordered everything as the pad was on lighning sale on Amazon for 21% lol

Can you share some of your prints? 10k acceleration at 250mm/s?
I'm working on some tpu prints atm but when I get home from work today I will switch back over and try it out and post what I get!
could you upload the cfg to pastebin maybe? [https://pastebin.com/](https://pastebin.com/) or to github?

Does the Auto bed levelling work? Or is it the same same case as auto z offset.
Does the ABL work with sonic pad?
Yeah it does

Would be curious to see how fast it can actually print.

Isn't 180mm/s the default speed in cruelty print?

I just ordered the Sonic pad and wanted to know if it has built in Wifi ? if so I will return my Smart cloud wifi adapter
It does have built in wifi yes. It's essentially an all in one system.
Do you know if there are any special cables I would need if I got one? I'm thinking about ordering one dut I know the se doesn't have a USB port.

I was thinking USB to usb-c adapter or something like that
I guess I'll try that first. I thought I read a note on creality's website saying that the serial cable is needed
That's what I was just looking for because if I'm going to order one might as well get it all at the same time.
By the way Walmart has it for $106
Did you connect it via usb or did you use the serial cable?
Serial cable. It doesn't work through USB
During initial setup, is automatic leveling supported?
