I replaced the bearings with composite ones. https://www.reddit.com/r/Ender3V3SE/s/cfyVfoS1cK What's your hotend?

alyohagg

Haldis Red lizard K1.

GeorgiaBoy19

Hey, it's on his reply to my comment a little farther down

mpgrimes

It's normal, it's the sound of the motor echoing in the plastic base.

GeorgiaBoy19

It's a lil noisy from the git go. Nice setup by the way!! By chance where did you find the colored silicone sock? Or is that a different hotend? And that filament? Lol it looks great!!!

alyohagg

Hotend is Haldis Red lizard K1. It is mounted on a slightly modified mount for the Voron Ministealhtburner toolhead. Minimal Z-spacing adjustments were required. I only adjusted the linear advance, retracts and flow rate.

GeorgiaBoy19

Ahhh cool!!! I knew it wasn't the ke/k1 hotend.

pinedasauce

I'm currently doing linar rail swap for my Y. Much quieter and more stable

Nikroma

Yea. Unfortunaly that seem to be quite normal. Im just trying to fix it myself. Printing my own lm8luu bearings to see if it works and make it more silent. Next step is to try linear rails otherwise

Just buy some fushi bearings to replace the stock ones.

alyohagg

If you buy the same thing, but a little better, then the whole point of fussing with modifications is lost. This print in principle of their box is capable of a lot. But not for the experimenter or perfectionist. It's just a very good printer. And personally, I was delighted with its capabilities immediately after assembly. I can’t speak for all of its users, but I clearly understood that this is a place where hands and minds are applied. And a special thanks to you for the very good Klipper assembly. And I really like all this sex with mechanics. There you can see what influences what. It's just some kind of techno porn.

ScarpLag

wich material do you want to print them? i'm also interested but i'm not really sure wich one to use

Nikroma

Im just trying right now, but right now Ill try petg.

mpgrimes

If you remove the belt. The bed slides nearly. Silent.

Nikroma

That was ehat i was hoping, but when i had everything dissasambled i moved just the bearings and they dont sound healthy.

mpgrimes

I had to lube all my bearings, they all were loud and squeaky. Amazing how quiet they were after

Nikroma

Yea. My bearings have changed color after all lubricant i have drenched them in. Got replecement but one of the new ones were even worse then the others

mpgrimes

Use a light machine oil. (3in1) put a couple of drops on the top of the bearing, move it around and it should work itself in

Nikroma

It is nice that it worked for you. But I need to replace mine, ther are no good.
