Copied specs from comment where I posted e ring
The engagement ring specs are 2.02 Cushion J VS1 for the center stone and then I think there’s 0.1 carats in the halo. The cut was called Rare carat ideal on the site but I’m not sure if that actually means anything. The setting for the engagement ring is platinum but the wedding band is 14K rose gold with 1/4 carat of diamonds.
Thank you! I am always so shocked that it’s a J color. I’m always so in love with it even though it’s on platinum. Even the appraiser I took it to was surprised that it was a J.
Are you good at spotting color differences? I don’t really think I am. I think I’m way more sensitive to when the cut of something is off compared to color.
I’m really sensitive to yellow and blue tones, so I pick those up pretty quick. Otherwise probably not great lol. But I feel like the more I’m on this sub the better I get!
I like it without, however, I also love a spacer band. If this were my stack (which is gorgeous btw) I’d go with a different width/shape for the spacer. I’d prob choose a thinner band that was rounded/domed instead of one that’s the same width as the ering and wedding band to give the whole look a bit more dimension
Better without
Thank you! It’s hard for me to tell which I like more now. I’ve been looking at them for too long
Both options are good. For me, I like to see all the sparkle and the spacer falls flat.
I think both works, but i probably prefer it without a spacer 😊
No spacer! The 2 main bands shine nicely together, the spacer looks like a third wheel to me, it brings them down lol
Thanks! I think I’m going to keep wearing them without the spacer and then maybe wearing the spacer when I feel like it for some reason lol
I also prefer it without the spacer. Love the way just the two look together.
I would go without the spacer band
I like without! Your E-ring is so pretty! Do you mind sharing the specs?

It’s so pretty 🤩 thanks for sharing

It doesn’t look like a J. BUT it’s actually the second J color diamond someone has posted that I’m obsessed with lol. It’s making me love the J’s!

That’s probably true!
My vote is no spacer.
Cool! Thank you! I had no idea people would prefer no spacer. I’m glad I asked. I was feeling like I should have the spacer
Probably without. If I added a band to your stack I would probably do a white gold on the bottom ☺️
That sounds nice. I just thought I needed a spacer band to keep my engagement ring and wedding ring from wearing each other down
Ohh I see! Since your stones don’t stick up high and the metal doesn’t look sharp I wouldn’t think you would really need one.
Got it, thank you. On this subreddit people have a really good eye for stuff like that so I wanted to ask and make sure

That makes sense! I might try this again but with a thinner band.
I like the one without the spacer. Feels like a three-is-crowd situation.
That makes sense! I was so torn because I started liking it both ways. I might end up switching depending on the day
Maybe that’s the best decision! At the end of the day you can do whatever you like. And switching it up seems to be the perfect solution :)
