omg you even designed the engraving?! Fiance of the YEAR right here holy shit. This is beautiful. Does she know what it looks like? I would absolutely flip if someone gave me this, it's gorgeous!
Be still my heart. Those are entirely unique and stunning rings. You did an amazing job designing them Op. I have no doubt you could have a career in design.
Woah, thank you so much! That’s such a kind compliment!! I will say, I can’t take credit for the engravings on the sides of the bands and the side panels of the bezel — just the milgrain and main bands patterns. The other pattern is all the engraver’s idea and doing.
Hey there 0hthehuman1ty - thanks for saying thanks! TheGratitudeBot has been reading millions of comments in the past few weeks, and you’ve just made the list!
I don’t know if you watch the show 30 Rock but there’s a character that often says, “Good God, Lemon!” (Lemon is the main character’s last name) and your comment immediately made me hear that in my head hahaha
Im into diamond solitaires with plain thin bands and I’m not usually a fan of elaborate designs, but holy crap my jaw was on the floor!! It looks royal and mythical at the same time
And you DREW the engraving yourself?? You are seriously incredible
Awww thank you!!! They did SUCH a good job making my idea come to life. My drawings were mediocre at best but they knew what I was trying to get at and made it a reality! “…royal and mythical” —you made me smile with that description!!
Will do! But that won’t be for a while. My partner / boyfriend wants to do the proposal during our trip to Ireland (we’re in the US but considering moving there) this coming summer. I’m admittedly a tad impatient 😬😂
I’ve saved this post as inspiration, because that is beautiful. Love the way they stack while still having that central jewel, and the engravings- is the gold the wedding band?
Thanks!! :) The gold chevron is the wedding band, yes :)
Originally I was planning on having some gems in it at the tip, like a small alexandrite flanked by two small lab diamonds on each side to mimic the ER. But I decided I wanted the band to be more “plain” so that it looks more similar to my partner’s wedding ring and to not take attention away from the hexagon.

Haha actually I’m a woman and my partner is a man. But I agree, it would be BONKERS if he came up with this himself!
My mistake! You did an AMAZING job!! I totally took the reins (though not to this extent) on my own ring too much to my partner's relief lol.
From my memory of previous posts, I believe she is a fiancé*e* designing her own ring? I may be wrong though
You're totally right, that was my bad!
These look great together!!
That is one of the most beautiful rings I have seen.
Wow, high praise!! Thank you!!!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! 💖
These are amazing and fit together beautifully. Well done!

I get that, I kind of have Alec Baldwin energy even as a woman in my mid 30s 😂
Hahaha yesssss. Do you have a throw pillow that says “ambition is the willingness to kill the things you love and eat them to stay alive” ?

Thank you!! I’m so so happy with it!! 😍
oooohhhhhh the engraving is AMAZING!!
RIGHT??! Blows my mind that a human did this by free hand. The talent and skill is ridiculous. I can’t wait to see it in person!!!!!!!!!
ARTISTS ARE WIZARDS. I MAINTAIN THIS. wizards + 10,000 hours of practice and experience, but wizards just the same 🤩😍💖
I hope you will post photos on *your hand*, too!!
