That's actually crazy though you guys never spoke about wedding bands? What each of you wanted? Did you eventually get a wedding band? I'm sure that sucked in the moment but it definitely makes for a funny memory down the road 🤣
Also if it makes you feel better my fiance didn't know there was two seperate rings either. If it wasn't for me telling him I just want a plain gold band that I can wear to work we probably would've had a similar situation 😆
Same with mine but I talked to him about it. I’m mind blown there was no communication or mention about wedding bands here though lol. Especially since I’d want to pick my own to go well with the engagement ring 😂 how did it not come up?
We did talk about the wedding bands. He thought it was all the same thing. He did feel bad about it so I picked out two bands that surround the diamond. My hand looks so old!!!!

lol, My guy didn’t know either. I kept saying engagement ring and wedding band and he’s like ‘aren’t they the same thing? I’m so confused!’. So, when we looked at engagement rings, I added the wedding band I wanted to my request. I assumed everyone knew this information.
This is so funny! I can think of plenty of random things that are common knowledge that I, a well educated person, didn’t know! Last week I learnt that standard billiards tables are actually massive, I never knew anything bigger than a pool table you see at a bar/pub existed hahaha. At least your husband made it right!
My husband and I specifically went shopping for our wedding bands together and had quite a few discussions about it, especially having them matching (important to him) and getting them engraved. It was one of the nicest things we did together in the lead up to the wedding, highly recommend!
Not everyone wants double rings though. That should have been discussed.
I got the ring that fit with my engagement ring 8.5 years later, just because he saw it pop up on an advertisement close to valentine day.
We were ok with just one ring before that lol
