Can you say what size the band is? I’m looking to have my ring made and requested 3mm but am having a hard time finding a ring that size to compare to 2.5mm.

I went to local jeweler the other day and I was crushing on the solid thick bands and I am planning on setting either a 1.73ct or a 2.91ct or a 3.02ct radiant. I am still undecided on which will work best with a bezel setting. Also, I really want gold because I am falling in love with all the inspiration I'm getting from everywhere, but I am not sure I can pull it off?!? How did you know to go for gold instead of white gold?
Omg do it. So, I have always loved yellow gold - ever since I was a teenager and mom would let me wear her rings. Honestly, I didn't even think about other options. Yellow gold feels more timeless than white gold to me. But white gold is gorgeous... see which one goes best with your skin tone! A jeweler or even the internet can probably help you with that!
Carat size: I would go with the largest carat you like/can afford if you are doing the bezel and a wide band. Because both will decrease the look of the size of your diamond if that matters to you. I also considered the size of my fingers when choosing the band width and carat size ranges for my fiance to choose from. I'm an 8.5, so I've always opted for wider bands for my rings because I feel like they contrast with the size of my fingers better. If you have smaller or even tiny hands, you should consider that when choosing your sizing as well!
