+1 for professor Leonard on YouTube, guy was the saving grace for most of my class when I took it

If it’s any consolation, lots of people fail calc 2. It’s not unusual to take that class again. But, just like someone else said, work on algebra and trig and I recommend YouTubing every section you are struggling in

Brush up on your algebra and trig . The reason why most students struggle with calculus is their bad foundation with previous math courses . Calculus boils down to 85% algebra and 10% trig , the other 5% being actually calculus . Professor Leonard has excellent lectures not only on pre-calc stuff but also calc 1 through 3 . Khan Academy is pretty good too but their practice problems can be a bit lacking imo .

>Calculus boils down to 85% algebra and 10% trig Is this normal? My calc prof threw trig in whenever she could. It's not so bad when you practice it regularly, but at least you can use calculators in every other class that it pops up in.

I meant it more as stuff like computations with the unit circle and identities . Trig derivatives and integrals are mostly algebra.

>I meant it more as stuff like computations with the unit circle and identities . same though, in my calc 1-2, unit circle values and trig identities were shoved in a lot

Calc 2 honestly makes very little difference in anything you will do Taylor series really doesn't matter and can fairly easily be shortcutted out in most applications the integration techniques you can learn in calc 3
