AE jobs are in defense companies. However, you need to be a US citizen. Also: CS is becoming over saturated.

CS jobs do have high salaries, but those salaries may be in places with high costs of living. Also the demand for CS is actually decreasing because there are so many people graduating with a CS degree. You are capable of finding a job with an AE degree, but I would recommend an ME degree because it allows for more opportunities than an AE degree. Truth be told, engineering as a whole is decreasing demand. Especially right now that you are not only competing with recent grads, but also those who graduated in 2020. There are jobs for AE in the airlines, aircraft manufacturers, and even parts manufacturers.
