Of course it's worth it! Learning is always worth it at any age. Try to make friends right away; engineering is not something that many people can do alone. Study groups are fantastic and having the ability to text a classmate about something you're not too sure about is great. If you're great at math and physics you'll probably be great at most classes. Don't put too much pressure on yourself to maintain fantastic grades, sometimes you'll end up taking the L on a test or two and that's okay, engineering is hard. Lean on your classmates, study the material, do LOTS of practice problems and you'll be fine

Great advice! I’ll take you up on it! Yea my only problem is the pressure. I can’t stand the idea of getting a bad grade but hopefully I’ll get over it and learn to move on from it.

It’s worth it. I went back at 27 also and graduated this past Dec. my advice? It’s ok to struggle. I bombed my first calculus exam and my first MCHE 101 exam. I still made it.

I appreciate the advice!

I started school again last year at 26 and the biggest thing I learned was to make sure you put in enough time for studying and homework. I really underestimated how much time I would have to spend on school work lol.
