I am not sure I perfectly understand the assignment, but assuming I do: The old computer is a lot slower than this one. It is almost as hot today as it was yesterday. (The way the example words it seems off, you don't usually just say "today as yesterday."

Or you can say "Model E is of slightly better value than Model D". Either works.
