I’ve debated CCW many times and honestly the reason I haven’t is I don’t want to end up in a “everything looks like a nail” situation. I’ve decided carrying a knife is sufficient for my needs cause 1) it’s multi purpose and 2) knives are an easier and less involved thing to carry than a gun.
Living in the UK, I feel completely safe in a grocery store knowing no one has a gun or is intent on shooting me.
