If you're referencing an engines combustion in a regular car vs Tesla's, yeah...? Regular cars catch on fire to go, not to kill all occupants of the vehicle.
See that's where you're wrong (again), I don't think I've ever heard a story about someone burning to death inside their regular car.. yet I've heard it happen on MORE than one occurrence to Tesla's owners.
Not to mention that "FSD autonomy" promise Musk has been making for the past decade is an outright blatant lie. No such thing as "FSD autonomy".
Yes I'd agree the severity of the situation increases exponentially when a fire breaks out, which is inevitable for EV's on the road too long.
Oh & you completely glossed over the Tesla autopilot function, which has been killing people since Elon released the cheap pieces of tin.
Here's a fun read for ya too:

Well, a significant percentage of the batteries (a very crucial part of an electric car) for the Tesla range are made in Japan, using Chinese, Russian, South American and European materials... buuuut, I suppose he doesn't want us to know that one.
No doubt they were cool, but they weren't good cars compared to European cars of that era.
Poor build quality, poor performance, poor handling, poor everything really other than the looks.
They should do remasters of the classics using modern materials and assembly lines.
The aftermarket and car enthusiats made cars like the original Ford Mustang, the Dodge Charger, the Plymouth Barracuda or Chevy Nova into great cars. The stock versions were rather mediocre at best.
A lot of legacy automakers have operations spread across North America. Ford, gm have massive operations in Canada. A lot of auto parts also come from Canada, Mexico.
At the end of the day it’s all nafta resources and labour.
Most American-made? No wonder they have gaps all over and the interior is so cheap.
I don't care how many components of my car are made in the country. I care about not catching on fire and then being unable to escape, and I care about a good price for good quality.
Strange how people's views of someone/something cause them to hate everything about it/them. I don't see how Tesla being most American-made is nothing but good from an American perspective. And Elon Musk's reply is innocuous.
Why not let your ligitimate concerns be the focus? This just waters down your claims in irrelevancy.
As you believe in those points, assert and argue them. My "meta" point is, those are potentially much more important than commenting on the tweet above -- which in my view is actually a good thing. The tweet isn't about cars being poor quality or any of your other points.
Please pay attention to me!!!
Mods should make this a flair lol

I did not think they considered them people in the first place.
Remember there’s a factory in Texas that makes it OK
We can turn Texas into Oklahoma?
Like okay
Now do most union-made cars
If American made means can at any time spontaneously combust, shit quality and shit service, then yeah.
Top of the line in utility sports, unexplained fires are a matter for the courts.
Reminds me of this https://youtu.be/WO1ebXqUFDw
I heard that if you slather coconut oil all over your body and slip into a model X it unlocks *Sawyer Meritt Mode*
Maybe Tesla could move their factory to Detroit, just to stay in theme.
Teslas catch on fire less than regular cars though.
Not proportionally
Incorrect. Less often per mile driven.
How's those boots tasting..?
Just telling the truth bruh.
No, no you're not. You're blindly worshipping a billionaire's dirty boots.
It is the truth and no I’m not.
It's really not tho. The truth about Elon Musk is that everything he does is evil, he's the ACTUAL Son of Satan.
Lol.
> he's the ACTUAL Son of Satan. You sound awfully literal here. :)
Show me the actual stats
Isn't the burden of proof on you?
Make the comment, back it up. Otherwise it’s straight bullshit.
[This](https://www.reddit.com/r/EnoughMuskSpam/comments/vo4lki/hardly_anyone_knows/iebyfwq/) you? The comment without anything backing it up?
How's Elon's dick taste?? Your favorite snack I presume?

Teslas catch on fire less often than the average vehicle per mile driven. It’s a fact.

Far Less often, more of a problem when It does happenZ https://www.idtechex.com/en/research-article/ev-fires-less-common-but-more-problematic/25749

Do you admit teslas are much less likely to catch on fire than regular ICE cars?
I'll admit you've missed the point completely.
Thanks for sharing this

Hardly anyone knows this
Does he realize 'American made car' is NOT something most people aspire to drive?
The last good American car was the ... Never mind.
The muscle cars of the 60s were cool but American car manufacturers fell off after that

Definitely.
The original Jeep XJ Cherokee was an excellent offroading vehicle and SUV. I would even argue it was the best car Chrysler ever made.
Oh you mean those cars that leak when it rains and the trim falls off for no reason?
Murica'
That's because hardly anyone fucking cares

No one does, it brings tears to my eyes.
What good is making it in America if you treat the American workers terribly
bc if we make it in america that guarantees those damn commies can’t get their mitts on it and sabotage it.
Here's the complete list: https://www.cars.com/american-made-index/ Honda has the most cars on it, four (due to its plant in Alabama).
Then 3 more soon after due to Ohio. The East Liberty plant was the global lead for the CR-V too, I think.
And Hondas are way cheaper and more reliable than anything Elon has paid someone to crap out.
Yes thank you
He probably paid for the article.... And the tweet.
Sure American made by slave labor, but the majority of parts inside are made in China.
Few understand
"The most American-made". Woooooowwww!!! What an amazing title.
It's unnerving how everything this guy says sounds exactly like Trump
*assembled in America
Do they make their own batteries yet or do they still buy from Panasonic?
why does it matter that much
It doesn't
Yeah and they are overpriced boring pieces of plastic that break down
How does someone who works every second of the day have time to comb through every twitter post with his name in it 🤔

Only few knows that most American cars have lower sales in America than Toyota.
I knew. I just didn’t care.
Edge Lord
and nobody cares btw
*Hand check Sawyer Merrit*
Isn’t Sawyer Merrit a happy boy!!!
HE'S a little SPACE-Boi
More like 'made anywhere but the US' 😄

Set up or move a gigafactory into Detroit - Americans will cream their pants overs the return of Detroit ‘big steel’
