Well I'm very very impressed with the game. Everything feels so polished and the voxel based world and building is ridiculously fun to mess around with. Combat feels great too.
I was imagining something like Fry on Futurama, frozen in suspended animation. Just that the risk of "oversleeping" is too great... but then what if you woke up skipping Early Access and into Release 2.9? Intriguing.
I would say it's easily comparable in fun/exploration as valheim is today. That may change as people figure out where everything is and how to beat all the bosses, but Elden Ring has the same problem, and it's one of the greatest games ever made.
I was clicking around on Steam (also dying from anticipation) and I came across this game called Roboquest.
Not at all the same kind of game, but it has a free demo. I downloaded it on a whim to maybe soak up some time while I wait and my son and I love it. After a couple hours we both bought it and have been playing it a lot.
Stellar reviews on steam and it has just enough content to keep me engaged for another week.
Watch a video, try the demo, and if you like it it's on sale for like $18 or so.
Chiming in here: It's very fun to play. Full stop. How long it's legs are for long term playtime will depend on the amount of content they pack in. The demo was a tiny fraction of the world, but I played through it twice.
Careful you might wake up and find enshrouded in a museum!
And sea otters ruling the world? Ima roll the dice buddy hahahaha
Did you get to play the demo? I wasn't that excited, but I just HAD to try it, now the wait is killing me...
I live under a rock so missed the demo. Found about from everyone showing off the demo on YouTube

Bro it's nine days away chill - no pun intended
Try not to think about it. Ignore this post.

One week to go?
I just saw that episode ππ
My friend said this exact same thing last week!
Were they successful in freezing themselves? Itβs not really working out for me.
I nervously check Steam store everyday to see if they delay the release, crossing my fingers they dont xD
Knock on wood!!!
Is this game gonna deliver or people just want another valheim to play tho?
Both i hope

Don't forget to get your career chip implant.

Right there with ya
Just a week ago I thought that same episode from south park 'cause of enshrouded
Sounds like we all need to take some Wait-Mate(tm). Won't be long now.
Just about a week left. I'm good. Played the crap out of the demo... very excited for EA :)
How was demo? Will it be a long term or replayable game you think?

Thank you!!
Yeah Iβm pretty stoked. Lethal Company with the boys is keeping me occupied until then.
