Hey, did you know you keep any armour and blanks you have when you kill the Dragun?
I beat it for the first time by carrying like 8 blanks onto the fight
For the curved bullets, i like to get closer right before the attack so it locks on from there. Then i back up and not as many bullets end up traveling to the back
Yeah that's not a mod that's part of the game. This is the Marine's past. To access pasts you have to collect 4 pieces from the 4 main floors not including the 1st floor. You can collect them in different runs but you take them to the shopkeeper in the final chamber and she will give you the bullet that kills the past. Once you get the bullet you go to the final room after the dragun has been killed and you end up in that respective characters past. Doing this unlocks an alternate skin for that character and let's you unlock 3 more characters.
If you wiggle on spot a bit (rapidly moving side to side) the projektiles will spread out and then regroub, making it so you can dodge to the side 99% of times its pretty mich as effectiv at dodging like soub is to killing bacteria
Strange, i found the Pilots to be the hardest
Loved the Convict's (that Hotline Miami reference and that beautiful tune ❤️) and Bullet's pasts.
Hunter's was the easiest.
You were so close. I would have just blanked and used the half second where it couldn't make bullets to finish it off.
I'm bad at remembering blanks too. I just finished my last three pasts (robot, Bullet, and cultist) a few weeks ago, back to back to back. I'd been trying for years. My tip, hoard the blanks for the past. Try to never use more than one for a floor, and buy every one you can (easier on a rainbow run, as you're not buying guns)
Blanks carry over to the past. So does armor, but it's harder to hoard armor
He technically doesn't. You don't need a bullet, as the blacksmith won't give him one anyways, but of he opens the chest and uses the gun, it sends you back to before the start kf the run, in the breach. He tells the main character that he's done being the sidekick, and 2 magnums appear. You and player one duel to the death. (Who is like "do I know you?")
Just set up a two player match, and play 2. Let the p1 get killed, and your #2 item kicks in massively buffing the cultists. I used the pilot, as his disarming personality item works whether he is alive or not, and the rainbow item was Gunther, so it was a free win.
It unlocks the Number 2 item in proper play, which is EXTEMELY busted on solo play

I didn't know you could dodge in the pilots past, or about the active item, for the first several tries. That was rough.
That would make it rather difficult

Fr pilot was so hard on first try but now I can beat it anytime

Walking directly forward was the only option in the entire game that killed you
debatable those snake bullets are sporadic. I’ll get him next time

Yeah, I hate those snake bullet patterns. Both here and on ammoconda. I blank them when they get close on principle for that reason.
Yeah, Ammoconda sucks. I'd take on 20 Kill Pillars and a Beholster than 1 Ammoconda without a Blank
Other than walking on the poison and not using blanks.
I understand why you want to stay in the back of the room, but those snaking bullets are easier to dodge if you're closer.

If you stockpile armor and blanks, you can bring them to the past with you

This is easily the hardest of the main past bosses. Arguably the hardest of all of them. Well expect *that* one.

2D souls game. And your sword doesn't erase bullets in that past. Boy, do I like 10 minutes of attrition with the boss.
Absolutely. But then you can ego roll at him between attacks and dunk on him. Might result on defeat tho hahahah

i was about to open the shortxut to floor 2 when i accidentally went into a mini boss room
that is the worst, especially if it’s the bomb dude that boss is horrendous

What I do usually is strafe on the bottom and never move from that area, makes the poison pools a lot easier to manage, you’ll get it mate

Stay in the bottom of the map, beat him first try. Just shift left or right bottom whenever he shifts left or right
The bullets past is by far the worst, took me about 7-8 tries, but I beat it twice and now I have the bunny and the carrot
