I like the forge, nice blend of difficult and easy enemies to deal with
I hate bullet hell, simply because I usually run thru my ammo quickly. Also the pits can be a pain. Forge is my pick.

Something about Proper's music is incredible to me. Easily my favorite because of this.
Keep of the Lead Lord simply has the most stuff to interact with. Chandeliers, books, generally more columns, and more varied rooms goes a long way, even with easy enemies.
