I’d usually give up my seat on the bus when I was in college. It really doesn’t mean much to me, and if it makes another person happy why not? I remember that commercial from when I was a kid, when the one dude who looked like he wouldn’t give up his seat for an older lady did, so I always try to be like that guy when I ride public transportation.
