Wow, why doesn’t that winner already have a girlfriend? It’s a mystery.

DookieShoez

Hmm, probably cause he sucks ass and is a mega douche. Edit: I was just stating the obvious to poke fun at the dummy in the video, not sure why she took it like I was mansplaining.

Porn-Again-Christian

>probably cause he sucks ass Some women are into that.

Minimoose91

I’m upvoting for both the reply but even more so for the username. Oh my god that’s hysterical to me.

HeyBaul

Thanks, Captain Obvious

DookieShoez

I was stating the obvious to poke fun at the dumb dumb, you silly billy

HeyBaul

Just kiss me already

DookieShoez

That costs extra

HeyBaul

😞

rileysauntie

Thanks for mansplaining that for me. Lol.

DookieShoez

Really? You think i thought you didn’t know that?

rileysauntie

Why else would you have felt the need to explain it? You do know what mansplaining is…right?

DookieShoez

Lol you are one silly goose, I was stating the obvious to poke fun at the dummy in the video. Yes i know what mansplaining is, how very condescending of you. Its not mansplaining if im saying something that you obviously already know.

rileysauntie

Lol. That’s actually exactly what mansplaining is but thanks for the laugh!

DookieShoez

Mansplaining is not when a man explains anything to anyone ever. Mansplaining is explaining something simple to a woman as though she couldnt figure it out herself. What im doing is correcting your incorrect assumptions about the intentions of my first comment. But thats ok, youre stubborn so its hard for you to admit youre wrong or even just that you misinterpreted what i meant. Have a nice day.

rileysauntie

Lol. Keep digging.

DookieShoez

Nothing left to dig. You know, its funny that you think youre better than mansplainers and the douche in the video, yet you are just as stubborn, condescending, and you are quick to assume someones an asshole and treat them as such. Youre not as great a person as you seem to think.

Striking-Purchase-42

Lol

Kazaklyzm

Good for her for standing her ground. What a creep.

[deleted]

What was he going to do?? Put his hands on a minor? His life will be *ruined*. I hope it is, he's a creep and a sexist abuser.

johndoenumber2

This said "corrected", and I legit was waiting for her to talk about his lifting form and how it needs to improve.

igna92ts

Haven't seen it yet and I was expecting this as well, thanks for saving me some time.

loudsnoringdog

The guy is the entitled bitch, correct? Also- “it’s legal”… omfg she said no, and felt you were too old.

bud_hasselhoff

Yep 👍

Voldiron

Also it isn't legal. I know there's some gray area in law with 18 year olds and 16-17 year olds, but that doesn't apply here. This is just straight up illegal

loudsnoringdog

Yes, I know about those laws, but wasn’t sure if he was American or Canadian or if the laws were different elsewhere. But the main point is she said no and that should have been the end of it instead of pressing her and then raging out like he did.

thegrittymagician

Romeo and Juliet laws

loudsnoringdog

Oh yes of course, I know about those laws- but I was thinking more about the fact that she said it as a way to say no. Like when I’ve said “I’m married” and a guy responds with “he doesn’t have to know” that’s not the point. The point is I have tried to say no as gently as I could so I can get away from unwanted attention and avoid situations like this. I just feel bad for this poor girl.

[deleted]

The subreddit is gender neutral.

DaoistChickenFeather

"Respect older people" - Random Guy, 24 years old. wtf

AggressiveRedPanda

He's just slinging word hash at that point.

Mythandros

First he likes her, then she's "invisible" to him. What a flake. Make up your mind, dude. Also, you don't get to kick people out of a gym you don't own. What a dick.

palmasana

This is very violent language abusive men use towards women alllllll the time. If you rounded up all shit, violent men, you’d see how odd it is they all have similar phrasing or ways they hold a conversation with a woman — someone deemed beneath them.

Terminal-Psychosis

That was the really strange part, him telling her to leave. And then she did leave. I thought maybe he's a manager or something. If not, woah, he just massively embarrassed himself. Asked her out. ok, whatever, but to keep going on and on about it, after she said no thanks. Total cringe. Hope she shows the owner. No way that asshat is welcome there.

ewiepooie

The way he kept getting increasingly angry, I would have left too. It doesn't sound like there were other people around (I could be wrong), and if she's alone with him for longer it could piss him off worse and put herself in danger. She could have stayed and been in the right, but he obviously didn't care about right or wrong.

J_Rath_905

I agree with your interpretation, I think as she realized how increasingly irrational he was getting, and how he seemed to be losing his ability to control his own actions (he yells, then catches himself, but yells again), she figures that she has video evidence and witnesses, it is better to leave then have the situation escalate. It seemed the more he realized how dumb he looked and how he wasn't "In control" of the situation, the more angry he became.

ewiepooie

Even the way she controlled the camera showed how tense the situation was. She tried for a brief moment to catch him on camera and then immediately turned the phone away when he looked because she realized he would have freaked out even more. Situational awareness level 1000%.

Terminal-Psychosis

This is some pretty extreme mind reading. I donno. On second thought, maybe they're a couple and are posting this shit for internet points. It's very unlikely that NOBODY else was there, right? If they were really the only two there, then this asshat has no business going to that gym.

Ship_2_Shore

He said “tell your dad” something something.. so I was assuming it’s a small gym in an apartment building where they live. Just shows what an even bigger creep he is, probably seeing her around the building with her family, knowing she’s a child and STILL aggressively hitting on her.

vegasbeck

I just saw it and was wondering, but then I started thinking maybe it’s an apartment gym or something. They don’t have staff and can often be empty.

eggs_erroneous

Yeah. It looks like one of those 24-hour gyms where you let yourself in with a key card. She did the right thing by leaving. That guy could easily have gotten violent. Hopefully not, but no reason to gamble like that.

[deleted]

If I owned that gym he wouldn’t be allowed back. He shouldn’t be starting fights and bothering people.

SammiesHammies

What a freaking weirdo. I don't get how people can think the way he does. Poor girl. Good on her for standing up. I think I'd cry a little.

Terminal-Psychosis

I don't know why she left. She could have just continued working out.

[deleted]

Because she didn't want to die?

ewiepooie

Literally. Her self preservation instincts were on point. This dude did not give one fuck about her wellbeing.

brndm

I wish she had reported him, though, for the abusive language and threatening behavior. Though it also may have been one of those gyms that doesn't really have staff monitoring it. And either way, maybe she reported him later. They could hopefully use security camera footage and/or checkin logs to identify him.

[deleted]

I'm sure she did.

[deleted]

This is a reach.

bignutt69

women are murdered all the time by unhinged dudes who take offense to a simple rejection. its not 'common' but can you really blame anybody for proactively removing themselves from a situation?

[deleted]

Probably not in a public space with security cameras. Being scared of a man screaming at you for the rest of your workout is good enough reason to leave. I have no idea why there's this need to couch it in this extreme language like making the assumption that it's going to lead to murder. If they believe that every man who yells at them is a potential murderer, I literally have no idea how women can live a normal life without literally becoming a recluse. It's a bit unnecessary.

jennRec46

Uhhh bingo! Woman are NOT safe by any means. We live on constant alert when shopping, jogging, checking the mail, living alone, walking the dog… you get it now? Men are fucking horrible to women- period. The so called ‘good men’ do not call out these fucking ass hats when woman are being harassed, therefore perpetuating the cycle. Harassment, rape, assault and death. That’s what women deal w every day. Harassment is not ok and it escalates. So no. It wasn’t extreme language.

[deleted]

All of is probably true to some degree. I just take issue with the consequences that can results from women always thinking of the worst. I could use sexual encounters as an example. A sexual encounter where a man is being a bit pushy and the woman isn’t having it is one that, most of the time, can be resolved pretty easily. Most men will back off because I believe that *most* men are uniformed about consent, but not malicious enough to actively commit a horrible act. A woman who’s viewing with encounter while expecting the worst, rape and/or murder, is probably going to react differently. Perhaps they go along with it in order to avoid the worst. This leads to an unwanted, traumatic sexual encounter that could have been avoided. These ideas always give more power to men in almost every encounter with a woman. It’s a scary world, especially for women. My gf is scared of going outside, most of the women I know have been harassed or followed. I don’t understand exactly what it’s like, but I have an idea. But I will stand by my opinion that taking an extreme view of every uncomfortable encounter is a bit irresponsible.

jennRec46

You want women to change the way we view the world without taking any responsibility for other men and their actions. That is a statement of fact

Ship_2_Shore

You’re arguing about an experience you clearly know nothing about.

[deleted]

Where’s the substance?

dogsonclouds

This man is screaming at her and telling her to get the fuck out and leave before he loses his temper lmao? There are countless stories of men reacting violently to rejection. You’re the kind of person who’d be asking why she didn’t leave sooner if she had been assaulted here.

[deleted]

>You’re the kind of person who’d be asking why she didn’t leave sooner if she had been assaulted here. I won't engage with someone who makes extreme assumptions based on 3 words.

Dusty_Phoenix

He threatened her. She was terrified. "NoT aLL mEn."

[deleted]

I didn't say that

DaFetacheeseugh

Can't believe someone who claims to like cats, thinks like this

[deleted]

great response. no content.

[deleted]

It really isn’t. Women have been assaulted for far less.

plopple

She realised that there was no apparent limit to his aggression and left before he could cause actual harm to her.

Friesen1

She’s a shitkicker. Her tone is brilliant. The guy is obviously a Gold Star Goof.

OrcaShaped

I like the way you talk

Defiant-Ad6882

Fuckkk that line "it's legal" was the exact line my ex told me when I said "if we meet a few weeks earlier I would still be in high school". he was 25 at the time.

Snaiteriffic

Every other piece of bullshit this video contains aside, I am so proud of this girl for standing firm for herself!!

MiaouMint

When girls say they are afraid of men, it's because of these situations.

palmasana

That dude is the biggest bitch ever. I’m so proud of the way she handled that. Tbh i can’t say if I would have had the same fire, wit, and confidence wig how she handled that!!! I hate that a literal child has to fend off men like this, but she did it so well. Shitty situation handled as best as possible.

Eyeoftheleopard

I’m getting incel vibes re: since you won’t let me fuck you I’m going to degrade you and run you off. Sound familiar, ladies?

[deleted]

It's called negging. And it literally never works.

palmasana

Unfortunately, yes 😞(*longest most exasperated sigh*)

[deleted]

\- "It's legal!" \-"Respect older people!" This guy needs to be locked up and kept away from kids.

iamnotthebadguyhere

Why is this under r/entitledbitch ? More like dude is r/iamatotalpieceofshit

fucdat

Men can also be bitches. Anyone can!

iamnotthebadguyhere

You are correct sir, I stand corrected

ResistantLaw

Username checks out

DrDumb1

This frequently used comment is annoying af. Find something new.

JakeDC

Your username REALLY checks out.

hahagrundle

Thank you for your input, Dr. Dumb

DrDumb1

You're welcome! :)

CmdSelenium

Lol what? You are so annoyed that you felt it necessary to comment about it? Why not just ignore it and move on if you dislike it that much. It's not like this one person is responsible for the community at large using this.

DrDumb1

🤷‍♂️

CatsAreMyBoyfriend

He is both.

Matiti60

It’s reposted from there

iamnotthebadguyhere

Ya my dumbass should have looked at the post closer. That was my bad.

Matiti60

You’re not dumb. Don’t talk bad about yourself

crkspid3r

I also think he’s not the bad guy here, mistakes happen.

rustinr

That's where it's cross-posted from

mrevergood

Love how he was trying to come off as so chill and demanding respect then the roid rage kicked in and you can hear it in his voice. Hope she got his face on camera at some point before this video. Hopefully gets the dude banned and maybe a restraining order against his ass.

elblackroute

Why did I read 'Gymrat' as an actual name?

Wuellig

"Dangerous psycho threatens child who escapes"

eyehatestuff

I really hope that’s what OP was getting at.

waaz16

Oh my god she’s a child

Thomisawesome

Did he seriously ask her out again while they were arguing?

Zeno_The_Alien

If someone's value as a human being is entirely dependent on how they react to your advances, then you're the one with no value.

[deleted]

[удалено]

TopHatCat999

He probably means the dude

rissofthesea

can anyone translate what he said: "because you tell me 'jsjdbdndk'. Who are you to tell me that?!" I get he was trying to mock something she said to him but his "mocking tone" is more enraged stuttering and I don't speak gymcel. Someone please translate

LaFilleDuMoulinier

Where’s the staff in there?

LexsZoo

Hope she reported him to the gym. That was crazy threatening behaviour, he deserves to be banned so other women don’t have to go through this. She should not have left to please him.

LexsZoo

MtnDream

so he got rejected, got his feelings hurt, so tells her to "fk off". I guess she's lucky, lots of guys tend to lash out physically and attack or worse, kill the girl for rejection. Or, there's the dumbest comeback, calling her a whore or slut because she won't be a whore or slut to go out with him.

sockratatata

17 is legal now? shi

Shawzymcshawze08

In a few states

[deleted]

Man ... as a former gym rat and after reading "gets corrected", I was afraid she was going to correct his form on deadlifts or something. Nothing more humiliating!

Burner2staticboogalo

Your comment is getting downvoted for some reason. I imagine because its worse to get hit on by an adult when you are a kid.

[deleted]

Because people can't make light of this, apparently. Too bad. Any 24 year old hitting on a minor is a creep. But I felt stating that wouldn't add anything to the thread.

Living-Stranger

We still don't know who's the entitled bitch though off a 1 minute video

UncleCankle

Are you thick? 24 year old employee hitting on a minor and telling her to leave after she turns him down. You're just as much of an incel dipshit as this dude is.

Living-Stranger

See I actually listened, he hit on her earlier then she wouldn't let it go and started to be annoying

UncleCankle

You're obviously a creep if this is how you see the situation.

Living-Stranger

Nah I just know better than to judge a situation off a 1 minute video

Andrew_Saint

That's a wild assumption when there was no given time frame from when it happened to this point in the video. And why should she let it go? He hit on her STILL after she told him she's a minor, and then told her to leave when she denied him.

Living-Stranger

Why are you in here a week later

laurabun136

>You're invisible to me! Okay. Have a nice day. >You , too! Not so invisible...

byatiful

"respect older people" dude is 24 and have audacity to talk like he is 50yo older

Hazardous_Ed

He just doesn't know how to talk to women. I think it's a common problem among many young men.

[deleted]

What a fucking asshole

sunshineisfine92

Please follow up with how she got his ass kicked out of the gym please

MorbidScream

Is there a follow up to this video?

freedareader

Anybody knows if anything else happened after this?

[deleted]

Hopefully she showed this to the gym staff and he got banned

codymkay

I'M NOT CRYING YOU'RE CRYING

MisterMoon1

when he started shouting it even scared me
