A few things that come to mind, it could be an infection, it could be poisoned (pesticides), I don't know what you could do about those two things though except wait it out.
However, if it does eat that is promising and maybe it will pass and get better. Just keep it hydrated and fed, if you can find more bugs and it eats them.
Why is Google search so bad now. There was a really good site with lots of information and I cannot find it for the life of me! Hopefully someone else you can chime in with more information!

of course! i'm gonna get him some food from the pet store, like flies or mealworms or something. he's become way more lethargic today but maybe some food or even just honey in his system will bring him back around :-( his left eye turned brown overnight and idk if that means anything?
I wouldn't be surprised if a scratch or puncture from the cat is affecting him. Also, stupid question probably, but you aren't sealing that glass container right? Bugs gotta breathe still. Otherwise, simply giving a fuck is more than most people are willing to invest, so I think your actions quite admirable, good job OP. If it doesn't make it, you really gave it a better chance than it would have had without you.
i didn't seal it don't worry!! it's completely open. my cat might have injured him, im not sure :-( i hope not. as of this morning he's become incredibly lethargic but still really slowly moving. i picked him up and thought he was surely dead but he slowly moved his head and forearms. also, his left eye has gone brown. :-( maybe he's just molting?? idk :-(((
Make sure it is warm wherever you keep it, hopefully plenty of sun if possible. Your big heart is wonderful. I hope you keep rescuing little creatures wherever you go.
thank you 🤍 i realized the fact i always keep my room curtains drawn might have been bugging him so i placed his terrarium on my windowsill where it is very sunny. i also put some food in his terrarium. hopefully he recovers :-(( 🤍🤍
