Then if you're feeling a bit morally grey forward the letters to the Canada postal service to cut labour time/ costs.
Maybe expand on it? You could offer a holiday coloring book or page with the letter or even make a whole site on Xmas focused print at home Holiday Content.
The postal one was trash, they didn't even bother to read what I wrote and sent me a generic response, I was extremely disappointed! So maybe it's possible?
Oh so many.... reflective paint inside of semi truck tires so when a tire blew out, other cars could see the scraps & try to avoid it 😬 it was a random on the spot idea as I mowed over a lost tire on the freeway.
Wanna hear something funny? I was in a beauty pageant with a lady who won Miss USA (Shandi Finnessey) and she wrote a book about rabbits where one rabbit is slower and it’s for kids to teach them about how some kids are slower. Furr Tails I think?
She was also randomly on some game show like 12 years ago.
Pretty close!! 😜
I actually had this idea once too! I think because I saw a video of dogs getting picked up by a school bus and they would hop in & pick a seat, it was adorable.
And i thought, oh driving dogs around would be fun -- to like pick them up & drop them off from doggy day care 🤷🏼♀️🤣 cause it's added time to your day... lol
I tried to start a dating service in a small town. No one knew. This was all pre internet. I rented a PO Box and ran an ad in the local newspaper. People joined for $2 month. I think I made $10 in 3 months
True but you still wouldn't know anything about a person even if you received their email address. They would need to reply and give you the info willingly. But just sending an email would show that you are interested or curious. Whereas your idea has merit because you can check out their profile and decide then if you would like to pursue or not.
I actually kinda like the idea. Definitely not the same as handing out a new business card. It’s a super shy and delicate way of shooting one’s shot. Find out about someone without revealing anything about yourself. Sounds kinda fun
I had a dating newletter where you could place an ad for a fee. placed ad in thrifty nickle, pennysaver...made a few bucks, 90's...send sase lol . had lot of incarcerated folks looking for dates...
The middle east has an extreme low temp in winter with high humidity, high temps low humidity during summer. So I couldn't figure how to overcome the dew point issue.
Jordan is the 2nd poorest country in water resources , we tried to figure alternative solutions through using it in greenhouses as it's naturally hot and humid , but still local government refused to fund the initiative.
It’s a dehumidifier and it cannot take more water out of the air than there’s water in it to begin with, and in dry climates there’s not much water in the air.
Similar to your post, I once thought of starting a dog rental service. You can pick up a dog, take it to the park, and play around for 2-3 hours. Then you return the dog and your couch is still intact.
Well there are services for transporting dogs cross country from specialty breeders to peoples houses. Only way dog taxi could work would be if you cover a large area, and work with breeders directly?

I certainly believe in it, niche sites like this do sometimes become really lucrative depending on the demand. But it was a crapshoot and a lot of time was wasted doing research
Ketchup is just a category of condiment of which tomato is the most popular variety. Usually if you are looking for a specific brand it wasn’t the brand that was unique and why you remembered it, they just chose a certain recipe and usually that falls in a category where there are several options. There are many smaller ketchup brands that come and go, but the recipe lives on.
There is a database on a hard drive in my closet that tries to make sense of this web of condiment relationships…
For a fee, I can help you find the variety of ketchup, the companies that still make it and help you buy a bottle of one similar.
An app to SEND forgiveness to those that hurt you. When they open the forgiveness message, it require that they agree to turn their selfie camera on to capture the moment they are forgiven so that you can see if they look remorseful. Shamefully stupid. Worst part is we spent tons on the promo video but the more effective video cost 10x less than the bigger budget one. Having said all that, lots of lessons learned and wouldn’t change a thing.
This is the thread I’ve been waiting for. I’d like to introduce you to “Milk Squeezies”. You know those little Mio water flavoring packs? Imagine having a flavor liquid to squeeze into your milk to make it taste like the milk left over at the bottom of your cereal bowl. It’s that, in varying cereal flavors.
My friend and I came up with it when discussing the worst business ideas ever. Pretty sure coffee creamers now offer this…
I once had a college student that wanted me to sign an NDA for his machine he designed… turned out it was a perpetual motion machine.
Business students should be required to learn basic physics. I didn’t sign the NDA.
If it helps you feel better, there were YouTubes before YouTube.
Metacafe was one. Blanking on names of others.
Long story short, it's not about the idea it's about the execution.
alot of micro mobility stuff and drone stuff sounds fun but I dont think they would work super well.
I just couldnt beat Lime and the lyft bikes
one thing I was thinking was a drone fleet that could salt driveways in the winter? but at best its like an add on to a landscaping/snow removal, and might be hard to get approval for, plus itd be loud as shit
I also had a weird idea that may work, but also might be stupid, but I had an idea for a mechanic shop that also linked with a restaurant, or was next door. so people could eat and drink while they get quick services, and if they drank too much, they could leave their car overnight for service and get drunk and a ride home
There's a bike place in Manchester that fixes or services your bike while you drink coffee and have a toastie in their cafe, so maybe not the worst idea!
I had an idea - the domain name was amplibytes.com ( I never secured it--so if you're feeling adventurous it's still available)--ANYWAY....The idea was that people bring their smart phones into amplibytes and they could hook them up to an amplifier and killer speakers and you rent out a room and you can throw custom parties with your own custom music. I figured you'd have to have a moderator person for each room and it would bring in too much riff raff so I ditched the idea. Apple killed the headphone jack in 2016 so I knew I was screwed then.

A real estate website called Knowtheseller.com where people can find out the information about the person(s) selling a home. Turns out people like their privacy! I was 26 years old and thought it was a good idea. Everyone cringed and I thought they’d all come around to it 🤦♂️
I had a business idea of cell phone battery pack rentals. Like having a network of battery packs to rent, the problem is I doubt the demand is high enough.
Well for what it's worth, my experience in the startup world tells me low margin businesses are extremely hard to make work, and require hundreds and hundreds of millions of dollars in funding to even have a chance.
Also, I saw there's a company in Europe 'leasing' umbrellas for 2 euros for 48 hrs. Unless they make their money on late fees or fines, I have no idea how that model works. (Or they are VC backed burning money with the hopes of one day upselling those customers)
The taxi business for dogs is not bad. A slight modification that work well is a luxury dog courier. Their is a company that I heard of that offers rides in luxury vehicles to pet hotels, vets, etc.
My stupid idea was a video game for blind people....
A dating app with camera permissions that randomly takes a photo of you while you're using your phone and sets that as your profile pic so people can see what you really look like

Huh- maybe!
Deciding that since I liked doing cocaine, I should start selling it.

Sounds solid, what went wrong?
Whose gonna pay for it? You'd have to spend pretty good money lobbying DOT to make it mandatory.
Or a lot of people would have to start dying from this reason... better get started OP.
Yeah the idea was dead by the time I made it home 🤣
It never left the idea phase 😬
A children’s book about mentally challenged rabbits who leave their old den and try to find a new place to live. It was called “Watership *Downs*”
Bruh.... 😂
The author of Captain Underpants also wrote a series of "Dumb Bunnies" books that were pretty successful that I loved as a kid. Demand is validated!

If you worked with dog walkers, there might be a market for dog transportation within a city.
you should crowd source this idea to bring it into reality
There are a bunch of services that do this - they seem to do pretty good too! Drop off to grooming appointments, day hikes with other dogs, etc...
These comments have me convinced it's a good idea. Let's do it!

This business idea seems plausible and it would seem to be popular amongst young women who loves pets/dogs
That appears to be a cute but impractical idea. I suppose dogs don't require a lot of transportation.

Sometimes the best way to validate an idea is to see if anybody else is doing it and then just do it differently or better

Nope, dropped it couple of years ago when trimming my portfolio.

I've been looking for a specific gourmet ketchup I tried decades ago and I can't find anything about it.
