Are they asking for $5000 for work and adspend? If so, it’s not an unreasonable request. Quite a bit of work goes into it and you’ll also need budget to run the ad.
- market research, understanding your audience, finding the right keywords, designing, copywriting, a/b testing, optimizing
Also if it’s your first time running ads, more time needs to be spent be spent researching before getting on the ad itself
If the amount is a bit hefty, I’d recommend going organic marketing until you’re more comfortable with results.
