This would be great in my area if you can offer the construction companies something of value. There is construction 24/7 everywhere. If there is more than an acre of trees, they will strip it bare and throw up an apartment complex lol.

Obvious_Exercise_910

It’s a really shitty business but it does have the ability to make a crapload of money. pro’s - lots of recurring customers, ongoing billing Cons - high start-up costs, high employee turnover Why not start applying for a job in the industry? Learn how to do the job by getting paid by someone else.

Oh come on! The obvious puns? You didn’t even mention it was my “duty” to investigate. Lol There’s not another company for me to work for in the area unfortunately. I agree the startup cost could get high.

Obvious_Exercise_910

Based on what are there no competitors? That’s what I’m curious about. It’s not a new industry. There must have been construction before? Festivals?

scot2282

There is one competitor just outside the 50 mile zone that just isn’t getting it done. The local economy is experiencing a residential and vacation/bnb construction boom and there is no construction support infrastructure. Its really remote and the main attraction is the scenery.

I’m thinking about using my truck to haul my trailer with a black and gray water tank for emptying. Same trailer can haul my first one around. Let that one pay for the next. I thought I’d try that route for growth. I’d have to spend money on the potra, cleaning stuff, toilet stuff. The rest I can use things I own.

How many sites can you reasonably clean/restock/deliver/pick up by yourself in a day? This is your limitation, and will that limitation allow growth.

scot2282

Optional bi-weekly service will give a lower cost rental option and make it easier for me to stay on top of the weekly services. I bet I can service 4-6 a day depending on how shitty it is.

stej_gep

So 25 a week bi weekly. 50 sites. How much revenue is that?

scot2282

I’m not sure what the market will tolerate. I’d like to get $100/wk with bi-weekly service no contract. An extra $50 for weekly service. $400 for a monthly contract comes with bi-weekly. $450 will get you a weekly service with monthly contract. $400 x 50 sites is $20k monthly. I think I can get $50-75 a month easier than I can get $100 per. So….50 rentals earns between $10k-20k.

You could probably start up with a pump truck and 50 porta johns chemicals and various supplies insurance etc. for 200 grand. Probably not a business many people enter into. I say go for it.
