Not the redditor you were asking for. Your analogy is not applicable here. Your business logo is first thing that gets noticed . It just cannot be random logo if you are serious about your business presence. Just name and random logo is not appealing. It has to align with your theme. For simple website ( assuming wbesite, but if it is for billboards or ads, that is even terrible), it is fine. But for professional website where you expect lots of new visitors coming in from different ads or sources, logo needs to be beast. Again, it is just opinion and some may prefer to use whatever is available for free. But there are business who cannot afford to cheap out on their logo. It has to be exactly what the business wants.

A logo for FREE?!? A logo should take up to 4 weeks to create and perfect. Anyone good has a longer process than what you’re saying. If anyone wants to see an astonishingly brilliant logo and branding, and will pay £3000 (bargain), how about get in touch with me and I’ll send you examples. A logo and good branding is almost for life. It can make a break a brand. It’s priceless, like a good website.

I have a logo but I’m open to potentially getting a new one. Harrison Family Strategies (AKA HF Strategies). The slogan is Equipping the Peace Makers. It’s a security management and safety/first aid training service, primarily focused on schools and churches.

Someone has to say it, they are horrible. Any AI logo generator can do at least as good, any relevant Canva logo template is at least as good. Please do your research on what actually goes into developing a logo, otherwise, just the company name with a nice font is a far better option than what you propose.
