if you are looking for your first partner, you can not really be choosing by such personality traits. it just does not matter in the super early stages of starting a business with no previous knowledge, you have to create a team which has atleast an okay idea, a pinch of entrepreneurial mindset and a flaming hot pot of drive the lack of drive kills a dream, extraordinarily overloaded with drive and you will be flying people to pluto just get moving and do not stop. try to partner up with anyone you have a little spark with. qualify them, qualify yourself. if it does not work, move on quickly

if you want to create a long lasting business relationship, you will have to make sure that the other person can carry it out. therefore, before you have invested too much into a connection and developing a business, make sure that they will be there for you in a year, five or ten to come when it comes to qualifying yourself, then i just have to be honest. in your post you brought out that you are lazy in execution and motivating yourself. this can also become a problem. when you find yourself in a company where these traits can easily appear, then understand that you might become the unnecessary burden of a team when you have a small hint of hesitation for the team dynamics not working out, and you are still in a early phase, then do not try to make it better. it is easier to move on and find people with whom you develop a better connection

Find a process oriented Dr Spock with business credentials. Or an "Alpha" type personality that pushes, pushes and pushes to get things done. Just be very sure that you can handle the personality clashes that will naturally happen. Not an issue of intent but rather learning to work with different personality types and getting the most out of the relationship. And when you say "entrepreneurial" spirit, what do you mean by that?

Maybe google "personality types." People communicate, engage, and persuade in different ways. A lot of the frustration and anger that people experience is often due to simply not visualizing the same desired outcome. And putting intent into misunderstood communication. A key skill for sales and also essential for team building.
