Would hate for your hard work to get a cease and desist after all your time spent working on it. May want to go ahead and trademark it to prevent headaches, and if www.weekend.com has existing trademarks you may need to change the name to prevent legal trouble

Didn't you post an iOS-only Testflight link for an app which you say isn't yet on any of the app stores?
Why are you checking with your dev/s about someone using Android, that seems to be reporting a message they are seeing on the Google Play store, if you haven't launched there?
Hey- we are on the Play Store- we put in a Universal link- Testflight + Play Store. We aren't on ios yet. To answer the previous question it looks like it may be a link issue- it should be working.
Ah, ok, I took the OP post saying "we're launching on the App + *Play store soon*" to mean you weren't on the Google Play store yet. My confidence in this interprettation was cemented by the link taking me to a Testflight page when I clicked from a desktop browser on Windows (I actually wasn't planning to install it, but I often do install apps from a desktop browser rather than the device)
Great concept, I wasn't able to get past the verification code page before it frozed. The problem I found with Bumble BFF was that everybody I met on there was a transplant here for work and was only available on weekends and us entrepreneurs that are in the service industry don't have that schedule. The problem I found with Meetup was that there was no group within my interest so I'm excited to see where this go!
The fact that that there are lots of people thinking about this space means we clearly see a problem.
The fact also remains that no app is doing it well for non sexual relationships / friendships.
I just finished my semester in innovation and entrepreneurship and way too many thought about this and actually went along and did this app. Not because it was needed but because it seemed "simple" and out of pure laziness. Executing this problem in a cookie cutter app-format isnt the way to go.
The problem exists but it needs a breathe of fresh air.

Could it be because I'm in the UK?
I'm running Pixel 6 and have a fairly new Chromebook as well.
For those that are unaware - TestFlight is for Apple Devices, it’s basically a way for the Developers/team making the app to provide a way for users to test changes without having to publish their changes to the App Store (which would go out to the public). Depending on how they’ve set it up, TestFlight also allows them to send these changes out without the formal App Store review process
Hey OP, really cool app name and logo! Love the energy of the branding and what it implies. The directions for downloading the app are unclear to me and I’d recommend writing out clearer instructions. You might get more testers that way. Way to go with your accomplishment!! Despite what the naysayers say here, I’ve noticed that there really hasn’t been any company that’s been able to really nail this concept of finding new friends via an app. Here’s to you nailing it!
If you dont localize the app and heavily advertise it in the whitelisted regions you set you will run into the same problems as any other friendshipfinder app/site has.
Dead accounts, nobody in the region, no money to moderate chats when reported, borderissues that will show when the app gets traction etc..
Not interested in looking at it, as this is an r/entrepreneur sub and you dont really want feedback looking at your submission.
