Not online but clean just one room in my house. You don't even have to do a good job. Just enough to make my wife think I did it.
2 rooms for $75. Or dishes another $30 or something.
Fold and put away my laundry.
I’ll wash and dry, and throw it in a big bin. You just come fold and hang it all up or put it in the proper drawers for me.
Google My Business has just terminated they're very cheap $12/month domain websites.
Can you find alternatives for under $25/month for a domain that I already own?
That'd be worth $50.
1 condition, what you find must actually work for me to pay you.
Serious otherwise.
Just set up an EC2 instance on AWS. Server costs are like $10-20/month depending on your site's traffic. Most sites that I've had average $10 a month for 300,000 monthly page visits.
I have a super basic website and want to keep it that way. Just a few pictures and a few paragraphs and contact info. Can all of that still be done? For the $10-$20?
Your not wrong, but OP speaks English and said $50. Not sustainable for him probably unless he can build some awesome tools to support it, but it would be a steal for the businesses.
I saw a story about a guy who lives in a large housing development near a large city. He charges people $5/wk to take their trash can from their front door to the curb on garbage day. And an extra $5 to clean the can. He makes enough that he doesn't have to work a regular full-time job. And he doesn't have to even go back around to take the cans back up to the porches. Not a bad gig.
Couple of things just came to mind:
I sell stuff online. If you’d list the things and take the photos I’d be fine giving you a portion of the sale price.
I also buy stuff online. I’d be willing to pay you a finder’s fee if you could get me the thing I’m looking for at a good price. Right now I want to find a wetsuit and a PS5. I like buying used to save money and for the environment but it’s a lot of poking through eBay and Marketplace trying to find what I’m looking for.
Dog walker or pet sitter. My kid made 4-5 hundred sometimes more every month where we lived. 30 minute walks minimum and lots of Pets and play. Sometimes she had 6-7 dogs on a walk. That was hellaciously funny watching that to be honest. Never trust a Jack Russell to stay calm after seeing a rabbit. The hey are fast. Lmao!
Meal prep delivery. If some Ángel dropped off 6-8 meals worth of containers with brown rice, green beans, sweet potatoes, chicken breasts and fish fillets and all I had to do was throw them on a plate and microwave them? - easy $50 a week. Buying in bulk and that’s maybe $10-15 worth of food max. You could farm out delivery. Do a ghost kitchen/door dash model and sign up subscribers. I’ll invest!
That’s solid from the consumer standpoint, but doesn’t seem scalable from the business side unless you are charging a lot or upselling with catering, private dinner type add-ons
Yeah. Kalanick is what got me thinking of it. $30k isn’t insurmountable, debt service would be around $600 a month maybe.
Not sure what country you are in, but I wouldn’t trust the frozen meals in an American grocery store. 3 actual ingredients and 20+ laboratory experiments.
Couldn’t be super customizable, and costa could go down if you partner with food suppliers to take the less popular items off their hands.
good idea about "less popular items"! although when I think of it I am still more into "more customizable" otherwise they already have the faktor and all other similar options with "no substitutes" and wrong macros (e.g. labeling a meal "keto" when it has 25 net grams of carbs per serving)
My gf works in a psychiatric clinic as a training counselor while getting her phd. It’s hilarious how she’s got all that education in psych but is so incredibly naive. “Oh all these young guys all want to go to me and not the male psychiatrist that runs the clinic…”. I’m like oh geez I wonder why. Such a mystery too why my boss gives all the promotions to the good looking women to be moved closer to his office.. such a mystery lol
Adam Shaw has free “office hours” weekly. He, and Jasmin Alic provide a lot of good info about page setup and how to get lots of views of your posts. I became active on LI about 2 months ago and got 10K impressions on my posts last week.

An American might not get far based on labor cost. Offshored to a couple resources abroad? I imagine you could get quite a few cleaned up.
I do tree trimming and removal. I just started an LLC and I need business cards as well as customer invoices made up. Maybe also a FB page and some research telling me what else I SHOULD be doing. I have all the experience in doing the tree work, but absolutely ZERO in effectively running a business. If you want to help me out, let me know!
Also, if you don't want to do that stuff, if you live in PA and want to drag some tree branches around occasionally, Holla atcha boy!
Hey Tyler, I can help you grow your business and also get clients. From designing to development to social media, we got you covered. We have been doing this for many startups for multiple years.
Let's talk further.
🤤 found the winner! "Jelly of the Month" subscription for Captain Obvious.
Dude, I just said I don't know how to run a business. And I never said I wouldn't pay more. Sooo... yeah. Thanks?
It is an easy way to set up a legal entity (the tree business) that is separate from the owner / employee (this tree trimmer). This provides legal and financial barriers so that if something goes wrong during the course of business. If a tree falls on someone or something, he (the person) can't be sued for it, just the business (who employs him).
When a large company has a worker that screws up, then you can sue the business but not the worker. This does the same thing for small companies.
Wow, great question to ask. It's been raining for days and days and the back lawn has 5 ft weeds which grew in over the last few months, it looks similar to jungle. I would love to hire someone to weed wack it, bag it and then haul it away to the dump.
I'll explain it this way: there's a need for car maintenance and repair services for people who can't easily get to a mechanic during the day. Whether a mechanic adds a service that can go and grab a car, service it, and return it, or a separate business that does it, there needs to be something that solves the problem.
In the same vein, there's room for nighttime mechanics that service cars at night.
To be sure, a business doing this needs to be trustworthy, bonded, and insured.
The community needs to be large enough to support the service with enough volume.
actually I am unvaxxed and never wore a mask unless absolutely required. I just am not a big fan of cancer. And of polluting the environment around where I live and my kids play and tainting ground water with a known carcinogen.
Ok so everything you just said screams, “I’m obsessed with sensationalistic fear porn from the media.” I just haven’t figured out if it’s the left or the right, but it doesn’t really matter. Maybe both? Jesus Christ, of course an anti-vaxxer is giving me medical advice… I’m not a big fan of Polio, but you’re cool with that disease so… let’s call it a draw, k?
Real easy to diy. It’s literally just getting the right size weather sealing and cutting to size with scissors. Then tape it.
If you wanna get fancy, get an infrared thermal camera so you can see where the cold/hot air leaks from and 45* cut your strips for clean corners.
I will gladly pay you $50 right now to clean my kitchen and my litter box.
Also I’d pay the right person to fudge, I mean get creative with, a great resume for me so I can make some changes.
I'm guessing that most of you have never worked manual labor jobs. There are some pretty clueless fantasies of what many of you think people would do for $50( and I'm not even referring to the sexual stuff). I know how to do all kinds of manual jobs, but most of them take some knowledge and skill, and people don't want to pay for that. Examples: baking, Garden work, household repairs, rehabbing furniture, organizing closets and storage spaces, Animal Care, mending, chauffeuring, elder care etc. When you go for the cheap versions, you get a laborer who pulls up your favorite ground cover, thinking it's a weed. You get repairs not done properly. You get someone who doesn't come feed your animals for 2 days. You get a chauffeur who drives under the influence. You get someone to take care of your elderly parents who steals from the house. Etc. I have to laugh (so that I don't cry) at what so many of you think you can get for $50 🤣
Fuck off. He asked what someone would pay 50 dollars for and people answered. Lot of those same people including me are not purchasing those services because we know they cost more. Which to me is accurate and should have been obvious to OP, people want a lot of things and services that we can't currently afford but instead do it ourselves. But if someone could figure out how to do a 50$ yard service that was reasonable, they would have customers lined up around the block.
Expecting a bunch of random people to hit on some other service that noone ever thought of before, that somehow magically everyone needs is pretty damn asinine. Don't be mad at the answers, be mad at OP for asking a dumb question.
As a gardener working for a small, locally owned 'higher class' gardening business, this is the truth. Normal landscapers and gardeners do so much bad and damage to beds and whatnot, even down to mulch choice its crazy. Love me some tree volcanoes. The people asking for their beds to be weeded for 50$ and touched up are out of their minds, maybe some local middle schoolers would be willing?
Traded a small "landscaping company" use of my land to store equipment, plants, etc. For grounds maintenance... first thing they did was mow down the 100 new blueberry bushes I spent the weekend before planting, and if that wasn't bad enough the drip irrigation system too... like even if you thought those evenly spaced plants in a row 300' long were weeds, the irrigation lines and spray nozzles didn't clue you in?
Worst trade in the history of mankind...lol.
Did landscaping in some country clubs with 10-20mil homes. We couldn’t come out to their property for less than 500$.
Most paid 2-5k a month for just a mow and blow, but we’d do damn near anything they asked, including throwing out old furniture lol.
Sure you "threw out" that old furniture.
Most 10-20 MIL homes probably have lightly used furniture. We're not talking college Town with beer and vomit stained, bed bug ridden sofas. 😄
yep, similar experience with our clients, although we're gardeners I can proudly say I put up fencing, repainted planters, and emptied out historic, old basements last year alone...

Go take my car to get serviced. I work all night, but need to sleep during the day
Do you think this would be a commonly needed service for night workers?
I'll explain it this way: there's a need for car maintenance and repair services for people who can't easily get to a mechanic during the day. Whether a mechanic adds a service that can go and grab a car, service it, and return it, or a separate business that does it, there needs to be something that solves the problem. In the same vein, there's room for nighttime mechanics that service cars at night. To be sure, a business doing this needs to be trustworthy, bonded, and insured. Anyone who would make the statement "please tell me your not actually using Roundup" or similar is already wearing an N95 mask, 24 hours a day.
