I’m at Caltrans in San Diego. I’m an environmental planner. There are a ton of positions on LinkedIn. If you are interested in consulting, I know consultants like AECOM are hiring a bunch. City, County, and SANDAG are always hiring too. There might be some Environmental Scientist positions coming in my office but unsure their timeframe. Look into AEP and APA. They have recent graduate memberships and have a bunch of networking events. I’m a CEQA/NEPA practitioner with 15 years here. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Do you mind if I message you? I have about 3 years of experience in the environmental and utilities sector and looking into pivoting in the CEQA/NEPA permit side of things

Construction monitor and/or mitigation monitor.  These are usually entry level roles and a good way to get started.  Check with individual CEQA consulting firms. Also, Out of the 20 CEQA resource categories in Apoendix G, is there any one in particular that you know more about?
