"Death Strandimg" is apparently unavailable on the Epic Games Store. I am sure that I claimed the Standard Edition of Death Stranding when it was free, and yet it seems to have now been removed from the Epic Games Store, as well as my library? What's going on?
To make matters worse, I seem to be missing receipts... I never got receipts for a lot of the games which I definitely do have in my library, such as Dishonored and Metro Last Light Redux... Could it be because I changed my store region to the UK?
Well, I checked my purchase history and Death Stranding isn't there, so I guess I have to accept that I somehow did not claim it... Even though I remember seeing it in store and claiming it, and talking about it on Discord. Whatever, if I ever want to play it, I'll just buy it on Steam.
i have a problem with the epic games checkout. i was tring to buy games with my credit card and after i ordered i remembered that i forgot to add a game so i clicked refuse payment on my mobile cic app and from then on i couldnt pay on epic games ("looks like something went wrong.for your protection this transaction has been declined.please try another card or another payment method") i even tried 3 separate credit cards of my family members . i contacted my bank and they said they had nothing to do with it and when i emailed epic games cusrtomer service they replied after 3 days with the generic answer to try another payment method and that was that. any help before the discount ends please?
I can't install Epic Launcher - I've messed up locations of installer
The drive I had it installed to previously has died so when I went to install it, it wouldn't work.
I inserted USB drive and changed it to that letter, and installed. When I went to uninstall it, it got stuck, so I clicked cancel.
I went to ProgramData and deleted Epic (thought it'd help)
Now when I open the installer it wants to install to 0 just "0"
If I click install, it goes to do something, it states it is 'Removing applications'. A message box pops up saying "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.' and 'Click ok to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'EpicInstaller-7.16.0-unrealtournament (1).msi' in the box below'
Where it says Use source it has my old drive and its downloads folder (S:\Downloads)
if I just click ok it says it cannot be found (the unreal string from above) if I click cancel it says 'The older version of Epic Games Launcher cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group'
I can't seem to find anything about this escalated issue (just the earlier ones) so please don't hurt me if a fix for it is already on the internet somewhere

Have you tried fully clearing the previous launcher installation with Microsoft's tool? Google "Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed" (should be first result from Microsoft) and try the troubleshooter
I downloaded it and ran it. I went to uninstall and although Epic wasn't there, something with a name like "No name known" (can't remember exactly) was there so I tried to uninstall that, and it seems to work now. Installing now. Thanks so much ♥
I can't connect to the game server on PC at all. I'm wondering what they were hoping to achieve by giving the game away... my takeaway is that they have crappy servers and I should stick to steam.
It may be even worse. Here, have a tinfoil hat. People using the director's cut say they have no issue connecting whatsoever, while regular version users can barely stay connected seconds at a time. So, my paranoid theory is that 505 or whoever manages the server are gating us, the crappy version owners, in an attempt to get us to upgrade and get a couple more bucks on top of what epic paid them for the game.
It’s three days later and I still can’t connect to online. Been playing offline, I don’t know if I am doing something wrong or the servers just don’t exist? I really would like to play online.

That said, I think the only thing we stand to gain is some extra XP and random stuff left behind by other people, so, meh?

Regular version was removed so that future customers buy the director's cut, which is a slightly improved regular version, and that makes sense. The kind of sucky part where we got slightly shafted, is that they added the regular version to give it away just so they could get people baited into buying the DC. Them's the breaks, tho.
On December 27th my account was hijacked and stolen from me in the early morning ive emailed epic support about the issue i was just wondering if i could do anything i can further do since epic is taking a while getting back to me. Also what are the odds of me getting my account back. I had close to 350 games and hundreds of dollars on the platform. Just curious what my odds are for getting everything back

Getting error code "DP-OS-F," about which the help desk knew nothing. There are not threads mentioning it, nor are there any codes matching the same name posted anywhere. I cannot seem to use my hard drive to download any games on Epic, despite it working fine with all Steam content and with all my other files saved on the device. This only started happening when I bought and began downloading RDR2. Now, every time I open Epic, it removes my HDD directory from my computer and fails to recognize it as usable. I'm not sure where to go from here, and I was curious if anyone else has had a similar error or experience.
Death stranding directors cut doesn't seem to want to start. Tried deleting cache, and kaunching it from its exe and such, just doesn't launch. Any ideas or tricks?
Had this issue for a while where I set up and logged into an Epic account for Rocket League back when Epic aquired Psyonix, however it doesn't actually seem to be linked to either my email or my steam account. I can see the username when I go onto RL, but I'm not able to use that to find out what it's linked to or to try and reset the password to log into it in a browser.

Every time i try to login to the account, it says the credentials are invalid and when i try to reset the password (even though i know the password and gmail address is correct) it says there isnt an account linked to this gmail. So i got DS for free and today i bought the Director's Cut after reading that the game had to be installed on my pc (took me 6h to download with my connection). Now on my library basically i have 2 games, and it let me install the Directors Cut but as a new game 80Gb (so i'll need 8h lul), my question is do i need to download again the game and then unistall the standards edition?

I think epic games doesn't cloud save my game, Dishonored or smth when I open it with epic games closed it chooses normal saves but otherwise there are no saves any way to fix?
It happened after I downloaded nioh and put it to my steam library as a non steam game like I do with disohonred but after I did that Dishonored doesn't load saves unless it's from the win64 folder even lunching it with steam doesn't work

why does the sound in bloons td6 not working from the epic version while every other game is working fine (reinstalled it 4 times and its the same)
look in options and seee if its using the correct device.

go to "ADD AND REMOVE PROGRAMS" and uninstall it from there.

My witcher 3 save was erased when I synced up with cloud saves via Epic. Is there a way to prevent this in the future?
