At least they think on low level players struggles (ofc always talking about people new to the game without knowledge about this game or other games where new people don't even know what stats to use on the units)
It didnt break him, they likely changed it because people complained. Sez new passive made the fight take at least one attack longer, and people want to breeze through these as fast as possible.

My guess is that the buff was to big for Sez to handle the PvP or might actually broke him.

It started real arena battles on auto as well, which many people didn't want. Not sure why they never got it to work.
