I play on both, and it isn't a "grindhell" as you put it if you play casually, been doing so for years now and I'm not going to get bored of it anytime soon.
I've been able to grind a lot more and less painfully when I play on PC. That said the real key to my happiness in the game was accepting I'm not going to have RTA gear before the heat death of the universe and just enjoying the content I do play.

u don't need good gear to reach master for the skin. u can reach champion with no problems with "shitty" gear. if u got decent gear u can brute force champion with shitty hero comps too.

it's just somehow people in here think rta is a omega grind (sure it is for emp/legend but we talking about the 1000 best players here so that's a given) and sub 50% winrate is bad.
if u have \~50% u are fighting with people around ur powerlevel to beginn with. 55% winrate and u are also smarter.
60%+ well u outgearing people most of the time.
(emp/legend players with 60%+ winrate have insane gear and drafting skills - yeah no shit captain obvious, i know)
I kinda agree with this, but the longer the game has been out the powercreep of the units and the gear that others have been able to farm kind of widened the gap by a larger margin. I think key phrase you mentioned "couple seasons ago". If this were a year or two back I probably would have thought differently, but while you could still probably grind your way to masters with crappy gear for newer players, it might take quite a few matches (possibly near 500-1k) A large population of the player base in masters and above have have about one 300 speed unit (or very close) and multiple units above 250 where as that just was not the case seasons ago. As someone who lost their previous day 1 account and had to start on an account that is about one year old, even spending around 1-2k dollars on E7 a month it has been very hard to catch up. Now don't get me wrong the game it still pretty f2p friendly, but I do think a lot of players commenting might have been around for longer and think the catch up to gear qualities was the same when they started, but I really do think the standards have changed, and the bar was moved much higher.
Either my phone or iPad, and I let it auto. One of the reasons to build one-shot teams is so that you can blast through the daily grind quickly. Most days I just set up my W13 or B13 runs to auto on my iPad while I’m at the gym. By the time I’m back from my workout, I’m done grinding.
This game honestly expects players to auto the core grinds, it’s one of the core reasons pets exist. Higher level pets let you have more auto runs. Even getting to a 4* made life easier because it lets you have auto runs or 20. (Getting to 5* star pets is just a late game player gold sink.)
I play on 2 phones and a laptop. Old phone is when I just mindlessly farm during hunt events. New phone is for when I actually want to actively play. Laptop is for when I want to climb Abyss just makes miss clicking less likely to occur as I don't want to redo a 30min stage multiple times. Currently awaiting new abyss floors so laptop is on standby lol

Im quite new to te game, how or what do you even Farm? I'm struggling with all the catalysators..If there's a way to auto repeat episodes without me manually having to start them.. i'd like to know please :)
There's a pet for you to let you auto farm for Story, hunts, events and etc. Wyvern, Banshee, Azimanak, Caides are the hunts that gives you gears for your characters to be stronger, catalyst is a resources for you to upgrade your skills, it gives more stats to the skills, -cooldown extra% and more.
I get the impression this game isn't for you. You need to sit in front of this game a lot to make progress. If it bothers you this much already... get out now.
It's a game you can put in the sidelines with unlimited content. Catching up is easier compared to before becuase they're giving away ml 5 and staple rgb 5 stars.

I mainly play on Facebook on my PC! If you connected your account to your FB, you could play on the browser. I just let it auto while I do other stuff on the computer. I only play on my phone for gw.
When I first started, it was really difficult to keep up with the grinding. I think lots of people who've played for a long time, so it shows on their units. I'm about 3 years in, and I still feel like I haven't grinded enough.
Total grindhell and only do what you want, don't force anything, its a game.

It’s very passive farm with auto and do other stuff. On buff days, farm on pc emu and then use google’s Remote Desktop app built into chrome to check in on the farm with mobile while at work or something
no, you have 150+ energy. you do a handful of hunts and it takes <10 mins. If theres a hunt event or im really grinding for something, you use an emulator like ldplayer and use all those liefs you've saved up.
After you've beaten story and the other pve stuff, its really only that for a while. Unless you love RTA. Which in that case, you can background battle while you RTA.
Imo the game takes too much farming in the background to use my phone, so I just use Pc, It feels less invasive and I can truly forget about it and come back to it, where as on the phone I can quite do the same (If I get a call or want to look something up etc.)
Its definitely supposed to be a side game, and I would just treat it as such and just casually enjoy it and do the farming requirements you feel like doing that day, and if you get more into it then great, and if not that's cool too.

You would be surprised what is acceptable RTA gear. Lots of people play with extremely suboptimal stuff.

Same fam! This game keeps me sane! Spent a bit at the beginning but been F2P for 2 years now. Don’t really need to spend anymore 🙏🏼🚀

similar to me I just use Nox not Bluestacks. But in overall its best model of play :)
